It has been tested to the Australian Standard for slip resistance (AS 4586:2013) and achieved a P5 rating, the category for very low risk of slippage. The tape is resistant to chemicals and oil, and the acrylic adhesive backing is durable and water resistant.

Where to use it
Indoors: stair treads and step edges, ramps, landings, workshop and warehouse walkways, and other high-traffic floor areas.
Outdoors: steps, ramps, decks, loading areas and other walkways exposed to the weather.

How to use it
Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust, oil, grease and loose material. Measure and cut the tape to length, peel back the liner, then press it firmly into place along its full length so the adhesive makes good contact. Check the finished area before returning it to foot traffic.

Important notes
Surface preparation has a large effect on how well the tape sticks, so take extra care on dusty, oily or loose surfaces. For painted, coated or otherwise sensitive surfaces, test a small area first. The black tape is not a high-visibility product, so consider a contrasting or reflective option where you need hazard marking.

Specifications

Brand

Croc Grip

Product

Commercial High Grit Anti-Slip Tape

Size

5m x 50mm roll

Colour

Black

Surface

Double-coated 60-grit mineral abrasive

Adhesive

Acrylic, water resistant

Slip resistance

P5 rating, tested to AS 4586:2013

Resistance

Chemical and oil resistant

Use

Indoor and outdoor

Safety
Handle the roll with normal care, as the gritty surface can be abrasive on bare hands, so wear gloves when cutting and fitting.
