It is low odour and low VOC, dries quickly, and can be recoated soon after the first coat. Crommelin requires a moisture test every time. If the surface has been acid etched, neutralise and rinse it thoroughly first. Apply the first coat evenly with a clean, lint-free tool so the surface is wet but no white excess liquid is left standing. Suitable tools are a brush, a roller, a lambswool applicator, a lint-free cloth or an airless sprayer. Apply the second coat in the same way once the first is touch dry, and within 2 hours. On very dense surfaces such as polished marble, the sealer may only need to be wiped on. If streaky film builds up on a dense surface once dry, wash it with warm soapy water, rinse and buff with a soft cloth.
