Fit the sausage pack into a suitable sausage-style applicator gun and run a bead along the joist, stud or batten. On broad, flat surfaces, apply beads about 40cm apart. Press the pieces firmly together and fix with enough nails, screws or clamping to hold the load and keep full contact across the bond area. You can reposition the work for up to about 20 minutes after fitting. Leave the adhesive to set for at least 24 hours before removing any temporary fasteners or clamps.
