The filler is a paste based on unsaturated polyester resin in styrene, and it is cured with a benzoyl peroxide hardener that is mixed in at the time of use. The paste has a no-slump body, so it stays put on vertical and overhead repairs without sagging. Turbo describes the cured repair as strong and water resistant, with no shrinkage. The cured filler can be painted with water based or oil based paints or epoxy floor coatings, usually within about an hour. The surface must be dry and free of dirt, dust, oil, wax, grease, paint and anything else that could stop the filler bonding. Mix the filler and hardener carefully in the proportions given on the pack. Weather and temperature affect how fast the mix cures, so work in manageable batches. Press the mixed filler firmly into the hole or crack and shape it before it hardens.
