Smooth surfaces should be roughened slightly, and absorbent substrates should be primed. Existing tiles must be clean, dry, and securely bonded. Mixing: Mix 5kg of powder with approximately 1.4–1.5L of clean water using a mechanical mixer until a smooth, lump-free paste is formed. Allow it to stand for 5 minutes before remixing. Do not add more water after mixing. Application: Apply the adhesive with a notched trowel over an area no larger than can be tiled within the open time.
