Note: This product is formulated for timber floors. If you need an adhesive for tiled floors, please use the regular Fix-A-Floor available Click here. NEW – Fix-A-Floor Polyurethane Wood Floor Repair Adhesive features an extra-strength, super-blend formula specifically designed for re-bonding loose, hollow, squeaky, popping, or bouncy timber floors. There’s no need to remove or replace floorboards — simply Drill & Fill for a long-lasting, nearly invisible repair. The precision nozzle allows for very small drill holes, ensuring a clean finish. Ideal for all solid hardwood, engineered timber, and bamboo floors. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and for small or large repair areas. Odourless and very low in VOCs. Coverage: One 300 mL tube covers approximately 0.37 m² (around 600 mm x 600 mm). Just Drill & Fill! Flooring professionals often prefer polyurethane when repairing timber floors due to its strength and flexibility. The Fix-A-Floor polyurethane formula does not foam or expand when applied and cures within 24 hours. Once set, it moves naturally with the timber’s expansion and contraction, preventing cracking or bond failure. Perfect for permanently fixing loose, squeaky, or bouncy floors. Not recommended for use in moist or wet areas. The Fix-A-Floor Large Application Syringe is another excellent option for applying the adhesive if you’d like to drill even smaller holes than 3.5 mm. Always test on a small area first to confirm desired results, and keep from freezing before use. Directions for Repairing Timber Floors: Locate problem areas by tapping the floor with a wooden dowel, broom handle, or similar object, and mark the perimeter using chalk or painter’s tape. Inside the marked area, use a 3.5 mm drill bit and drill at least one hole on each end of the affected floorboard(s). Larger areas may require additional holes. Vacuum debris from each hole. Remove the cap and unscrew the nozzle. Pierce a large hole in the tube with an awl or similar tool. If needed, clear the nozzle before screwing it back on. Using a quality caulking gun, inject Fix-A-Floor into each drilled hole. When adhesive seeps from adjacent holes, you have achieved full coverage. Place a finger over the nozzle when moving between holes to prevent spills. Once complete, wipe away any excess with a damp cloth or sponge and allow to cure for 24 hours before filling holes. Use a matching timber filler or putty from your local hardware store. Clean any residue with mineral turpentine. Your floor is FIXED!

  • Earl's MulTfill Multi-Purpose Paintable Putty Interior & Exterior Filler

Timbermate Earl's MulTfill Multi-Purpose Paintable Putty Interior & Exterior Filler

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Earl’s MulTfill is a premium, ready-to-use multi-purpose filler designed for fast, clean, and durable repairs across interior and exterior projects. The heavy-bodied formula spreads smoothly, levels cleanly, and dries hard without shrinking, sinking, cracking, or falling out. With zero VOCs and no acrylics, latex, or solvents, it’s a low-odour choice for homes, workshops, and job sites. Clean-up is simple with water, and once dry MulTfill sands easily to a fine, paint-ready surface. Why you’ll love it Ready from the tub: no mixing, no mess, no wastage — just open, apply, and close. Zero VOCs: stable, low odour and user-friendly. Non-sinking, non-shrinking: fills stay flush and true. Won’t fall out: dries hard for lasting repairs. Paintable finish: accepts most coatings for a seamless result. Sands like a dream: refined finish without clogging when sanded dry. Long shelf life: keep the lid sealed and it’s ready when you are. Where it works Use MulTfill on common building materials including wood (including weathered and damaged sections once sound), masonry, plasterboard, cement sheet, concrete, and primed metal. It’s ideal for nail holes, dents, shallow voids, corner repairs, skim touch-ups, and general surface preparation before painting. Colour options White, Teak (Cypress), Ebony, Grey, Jarrah, Merbau, Walnut. How to use Prep: Ensure the area is clean, dry, and sound. Remove loose material and dust. For best glide, lightly wet your putty knife. Apply: Press firmly to fill the defect and smooth off. For deep voids, apply in layers up to 6 mm per pass, allowing each layer to dry before the next. Sand: Once fully dry, sand with 120 grit or finer to achieve a smooth, level surface. Coat: Prime if required, then paint. For clear finishes, tint the filler with suitable colorants or oxides before application to harmonise with surrounding material. Cleanup & care: Clean tools with water. If product thickens in the tub, add a few drops of clean water and stir until smooth. Always reseal promptly. Pro tips Feather edges wide when blending across boards or wall patches. On exterior jobs, protect from rain during cure and overcoat appropriately for exposure. Tinting before clear coats helps the repair visually disappear on timber substrates. Selleys Aquadhere Interior Wood Glue Water Clean Up Won't stain Timber Bottle 250ml

Sold Out  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

PVA adhesive specially formulated for interior woodworking repairs and projects. White in colour, dries clear and cleans up easily with water. Features No mixing required – Ready to use straight from the pack Suitable for end grain gluing – won’t stain timber, white in colour, but dries clear. Non-toxic Dries Clear Cleans up with water Where can this product be used? School projects and craft Furniture repairs Repair a split trim Fix a broken photo frame Restoring furniture Fix a wobbly chair Gluing cupboard shelves for additional support Repairing a door frame or window Fix a wine rack Re-attach book cover/spine or repair torn bindings Fix a broken drawer Wooden toy repairs Craft projects Unsuitable for use on coated wallpaper overlaps eg vinyl Although Aquadhere is reasonably water resistant, it is not recommended for use in water or weather exposed situations or for any job where maximum water resistance is required (for weather exposed and/or wet areas we recommend Aquadhere exterior or Aquadhere Durabond). Will not take common timber stains Aquadhere is not recommended for joints that are subjected to constant high stress. Instead, use Selleys 308 High Stress wood glue. Do not use on projects that you need to be able to sand, as Aquadhere Interior is not sandable. Will not bond MDF, we recommend using Aquadhere Exterior What materials is this product suitable for? End grain gluing Craftwork Cloth Paper Mosaics Leather Other craft materials How to use this product Surfaces to be bonded must be close fitting, free from dust, dry and clean from grease. Shake bottle before use Apply adhesive liberally to one surface only, position surfaces and press together while still wet. Immediately clamp for 30 minutes for softwoods and 1 hour for hardwoods. Alternatively, low clamping pressures (50lbs/in2) can be used with softwoods; higher pressures are recommended for hardwoods (100 – 150lbs/in2). Do not stress joint for 12 hours. Wipe off excess adhesive while still wet with a damp cloth. If the wood is to be stained, any residual Aquadhere left on the timber surface may prevent the stain from taking to the wood. Maximum strength is achieved after 12 hours, but longer in cold, damp conditions, or when used on dense timbers. Cure slows significantly in humid, cold conditions. Clean all tools with water before adhesive is allowed to dry. If dry, soak in water until adhesive is soft. Handy tips 1L covers approx. 8m2 To fill small gaps, Aquadhere can be mixed with sawdust. Longer clamping times may be required for joints under high stress, or alternatively use Selleys 308 High Stress Wood Glue. Avoid contaminating Aquadhere with iron and steel, eg nails, etc. Aquadhere contaminated with rust (iron oxide) will stain brown/black in the presence of tannins in many woods. On very porous surfaces applying a thin layer to each side and allowing to soaking in before applying a second layer to one side only may result in a stronger bond Cured adhesive can be resoftened by prolonged contact with hot water or steam. Sanding isn’t an effective way to prepare for gluing, as it often leaves an uneven surface and may clog the timber which can stop the glue from penetrating and impact on your result. A straight router can be used to trim the edge, but be sure to only remove as much as required to obtain a suitable edge for gluing. If you are gluing over a larger surface, try using a small roller to aid in application. For cleaning surfaces prior to application of adhesive, if the surface is porous, we would recommend using SELLEYS Liquid Sugar Soap. If the surface is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with mineral turpentine and then again with methylated spirits. If there is old, difficult to remove residue such as old paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as SELLEYS Kwik Strip Smart. Ensure the surface is dry before applying the product. Keep a canister of SELLEYS Sugar Soap Wipes nearby for a quick and effective cleanup. Safety tips Aquadhere is considered a non-hazardous material. In case of eye contact, hold eye open and flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes. Storage and re-use For maximum shelf life store inside at moderate temperatures. Do not allow to freeze.

(ISO 34) Service Temperature −40 °C to +70 °C SUBSTRATE PREPARATION The substrate must be clean, dry, sound and homogeneous, free from oils, grease, dust and loose or friable particles. Sikaflex® Crystal Clear adheres without primers and/or activators. However, for optimum adhesion and critical, high performance applications, such as on multi-story buildings, highly stressed joints, extreme weather exposure or water immersion, the following priming and/or pretreatment procedures shall be followed: Non-porous substrates Aluminium, anodised aluminium, stainless steel, PVC, galvanised steel, powder coated metals or glazed tiles have to be cleaned and pre-treated using Sika® Aktivator-205, wiped on with a clean towel. Before sealing, allow a flash-off time of > 15 minutes (< 6 hours). Other metals, such as copper, brass and titanium-zinc, also have to be cleaned and pre-treated using Sika® Aktivator-205,wiped on with a clean towel. After the necessary flash-off time, use a brush to apply Sika® Primer-3 N and allow a further flash-off time of > 30minutes (< 8 hours) before sealing the joints. Porous substrates Concrete, aerated concrete and cement based renders, mortars and bricks shall be primed using Sika® Primer-3 N applied with a brush. Before sealing, allow a flash-off time of > 30 minutes (< 8 hours). For more detailed advice and instructions please contact the local Sika Technical Services Department. Note: Primers are adhesion promoters. They are neither a substitute for the correct cleaning of a surface, nor do they improve the strength of the surface significantly. Bonding After substrate preparation, apply Sikaflex® Crystal Clear in beads, strips or spots to the bonding surface in intervals of a few centimetres each. Use hand pressure only to set the element to be bonded into position. If necessary, use SikaTack® Panel Tape during the initial hours of curing. An incorrectly positioned element can easily be unfastened and repositioned during the first few minutes after application. Apply pressure again. Optimum bonding will be obtained after the complete curing of Sikaflex® Crystal Clear. The recommended adhesive layer thickness (depending on surface evenness) is ≤3 mm. Fresh, uncured adhesive remaining on the surface must be removed immediately. Final strength will be obtained after complete curing of Sikaflex® Crystal Clear. Sealing After the necessary substrate preparation, insert a suitable backing rod to the required depth and apply any primer if necessary. Insert a cartridge into the sealant gun and extrude Sikaflex® Crystal Clear into the joint making sure that it comes into full contact with the sides of the joint and avoids any air entrapment. Sikaflex® Crystal Clear sealant must be firmly tooled against the joint sides to ensure adequate adhesion. It is recommended to use masking tape where exact joint lines or neat lines are required. Remove the tape within the skin time. Do not use tooling products containing solvents. Cleaning of Tools Clean all tools and application equipment immediately after use with Sika® Remover-208 and/or Sika® Wonder Wipes. Once cured, residual material can only be removed mechanically.

Features Strong bond – which will cope with shrinkage and thermal movement, so you know the job will last. Adheres well to wet and dry timber, so there is no need to wait for the timber to dry. Easily extruded and easy to use in low Winter temperatures, so it allows you to continue with the job at low temperatures. Paintable when dry, to give you a neat, quality finished job. Doesn’t drip, sag or string, so there is less mess when you are using the product. Is available in a range of sizes and delivery styles. Meets requirements specified by Australian Standard AS 2329-1999. Bridges gaps on rough and ill fitting construction material Has a life expectancy, when cured, of 20 years Not for use on polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon, silicone or polystyrene. Perfect for use: Sheet flooring to joists Metal or aluminium door strips to floors or walls Timber or fibre cement sheeting to cement block or brick walls Masonite to timber Wallboard or panelling to wood or metal frames Cork tiles to timber, fibro or plaster Tempered hardboard to floorboards To eliminate the squeaks in tongue & groove boards Not suitable for use on Mirrors, use Liquid Nails Mirrors, Metal and Glass Not suitable for use on Styrene Foam, use Liquid Nails Fast Not suitable for metals heated by direct sunlight, as bonds weaken at high temperatures. eg metal roofing and siding. Not suitable for bonding materials in areas which will be constantly damp or wet. Not suitable for use in tightly clamped joints eg cabinet making or joinery use Selleys Aquadhere What materials is this product suitable for? Brick & Concrete Plasterboard, particleboard & fibre cement sheeting Ceramic tiles Aluminium Painted surfaces Timber Hardboards Render Many other building surfaces   How to use this product Ensure the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, oil and loose powdery materials. If porous surfaces are greasy or dirty, we would recommend cleaning the surface with SELLEYS LIQUID SUGAR SOAP, and allow to dry. If the surface is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with Mineral Turpetine and then again with Methylated Spirits, and allow to dry. If there is old difficult to remove residue such as old flaky paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as SELLEYS KWIK STRIP SMART, and allow to dry. On wet timber pooled water should be wiped off. Highly oily timber types may need to be wiped with solvent prior to application to remove surface oils. We also recommend sanding the surface back with a good quality sanding block, such as a ROTA COTA Sanding Block Medium/ Course grain, as the construction adhesive will adhere more readily to a scratched up surface. Cut the seal at the top of the cartridge. Cut the nozzle end to desired opening (approx. 5mm diameter). Fit to the top of the cartridge. Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun such as SELLEYS LIGHT SPEED Caulking gun. We recommend SELLEYS LIGHT SPEED Caulking Gun, as its new innovative pressure release design reduces the mess which results from run on and stress on your hands, which is critical if you are doing a lot of work which requires a caulking gun. Apply a bead of product along the length of the joist, stud or batten. On broad flat surfaces apply beads every 40cm. Fix the surfaces with sufficient nails, screws or clamping to hold load and achieve contact over the total bond area. The product is repositionable for up to 20 minutes after fitting. Allow the adhesive to set (at least 24 hours) before removing any temporary fasteners or clamping. For faster grab, apply to one surface only, press together and pull apart. Allow surfaces to dry 2-5 minutes before firmly joining. The time it takes to form a strong bond depends on the nature and conditions of the application. In most situations strong bonds can be achieved after 24 hours and will continue to strengthen over a 2-3 day period. The product will fully cure up to 7 days. When the product is still wet it can be removed with mineral turpetine, otherwise if the product is dry it can be removed by sanding or scraping, we recommend using a 50mm ROTA COTA Soft Grip Scraper. Clean any excess from your hands with SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipes. To eliminate squeaks in tongue and groove flooring, apply a bead of Liquid nails into the groove or each board when installing. Handy tips When applying to one surface, ensure sufficient LIQUID NAILS Original is used so that some adhesive extrudes out when surfaces are brought together then wipe off excess if necessary. If glue is not visible, then insufficient contact may not have been made between the surfaces and a weak joint may result. LIQUID NAILS Original should always be used in conjunction with mechanical fasteners in structural, critical or high stress applications. LIQUID NAILS Original is sometimes called LIQUID NAILS (SOLVENT) to differentiate it from the other Liquid Nails products. LIQUID NAILS Original shrinks slightly on curing. Cured LIQUID NAILS Original residues can be removed by holding a rag soaked in Mineral Turps against the residue, then rubbing the residue once softened. Mineral Turps penetrates in this way at approximately 1 mm per hour. When Liquid Nails Original joints are directly exposed to the weather, it is recommended to seal around the edges with a silicone sealant to prevent water ponding inside the joint and thus weaken the joint. LIQUID NAILS Original is NOT recommended for use on mirrors or polystyrene. Use LIQUID NAILS MIRROR METAL GLASS for mirrors and LIQUID NAILS FAST for polystyrene. Keep a pack of SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipes handy to wipe up any spills and for cleaning any material off the skin before it cures. They are an easy and effective way to keep clean on the job.

Will not adhere to concrete, cement products, zinc or copper containing metals, marble, limestone or lead. Can not be painted over. Not suitable for use on oily woods such as cypress, teak or cedar. Not suitable for use on roofs and gutters as it will cause corrosion. Use SELLEYS Roof and Gutter Silicone. Not for use on polyethylene, polypropylene or Teflon. Pre-test plastics before use. What materials is this product suitable for? Glass Aluminium Stainless Steel Many plastics including polystyrene Most woods Rubber/ canvas Glazed ceramics & porcelain How to use this product Thoroughly clean and dry surface from oil, dirt and grease with Mineral Turpentine firstly and then Methylated Spirits. Allow drying completely before applying silicone. If there is old silicone which needs to be removed, we recommend using SELLEYS SILICONE REMOVER, this ingenious product makes removing old silicone easy. Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up. Cut the seal at the top of the cartridge and cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, to the size of the gap opening. Fit the nozzle to the top of the cartridge. Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun such as SELLEYS LIGHT SPEED Caulking gun. We recommend SELLEYS LIGHT SPEED Caulking Gun, as its new innovative pressure release design reduces the mess which results from run on and stress on your hands, which is critical if you are doing a lot of sealing. Hold the caulking gun at a 45° angle. Press the nozzle opening against the joint, apply steady pressure to the caulking gun and extrude the silicone sealant forcing the sealant into the gap and move in a pushing motion, along the joint in one smooth action. For a smooth finish, smooth with a finger dipped in mineral turpetine or for a professional finish use a paint scraper such as a 50mm ROTA COTA Soft Grip Scraper dipped in mineral turpetine. Excess sealant must be cleaned up before the sealant skins in 5-10 minutes. Wipe excess away with a cloth dampened in mineral turpetine or use a SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipe. Remove tape before the sealant skins. Clean tools immediately in mineral turpetine. Avoid smearing on surrounding surfaces, see handy tip. Sealant will cure fully in 72 hours. As this point, any unwanted sealant can be removed by trimming with a sharp blade but avoid undercutting the seal. For aquariums, allow the product to fully cure for 7 days. Prior to usage, thoroughly wash out with water, drain and refill before introducing fish. Suitable for constructing and repairing small aquariums. The specialist design required for large tanks. Contact SELLEYS if unsure. Handy tips Tips for Using a Silicone Sealant on Glass Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up. The depth of the sealant should be no more than 10mm in joints. To fill larger joints use a suitable backing rod (such as closed cell polyethylene foam or similar), leaving the gap depth no larger than half the width of the joint. When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of silicone sealant. Remove the tape before the silicone sealant skins. For a better finish complete painting prior to use of the sealant as it can not be painted over. For a better finish, use a spatula dipped in mineral turpetine or detergent and water to tool off the sealant. Work in sections that can be completed before sealant skins. Tooling off and tape removal must be completed before skinning occurs or a rough surface may result, so working in sections allows for a better finish. Keep a pack of SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipes handy to wipe up any spills and for cleaning any material off the skin before it cures. They are an easy and effective way to keep clean on the job. Safety tips Uncured product may irritate eyes. If in eyes, flood the eyes for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice. Avoid contact with skin, if contact occurs, wipe off immediately and wash with detergent. It may irritate sensitive skin. Avoid breathing in vapours. Ensure you use a well-ventilated area as product releases acetic acid while curing. For advice, contact a Poisons Information Centre (AUS 131 126; NZ 0800 764 766) or a doctor. For further detail on the safe use of this product, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet, which can be downloaded from this site. Keep away from children. Storage and re-use Store in cool dry conditions, below 30°C The sealant should be used within 6 months after opening. After use, keep the nozzle on the cartridge. Silicone is a reactive product and is designed to cure once exposed to humidity. While the product may be stored for a few months once opened, it does have a limited shelf life. Storage in an upright position in a cool dry place is recommended to maximise the storage life. If the sealant is going to be used again within a few days, leave the nozzle on and merely extrude approximately 2 cm of the product before storing the cartridge upright. This will cure to a plug which can easily be pulled out when required. For longer storage periods, leave the nozzle on and place a piece of plasticene or Blu Tack over the end of the nozzle. Tightly tape a piece of aluminium foil over the whole nozzle to exclude any air. When you want to re-use the product, simply take off the foil and plug from the old nozzle pull out the excess silicone from the nozzle with a corkscrew, then re-pierce any cure at the tip of the cartridge and re-use. If cure has taken place into the cartridge, the product is unlikely to be in a useable state and should be discarded.

Gorilla Wood Glue is the adhesive that woodworkers, carpenters and hobbyists trust for their woodworking projects. Gorilla Wood Glue, a PVA glue, offers the benefits of an easy-to-use, water-based adhesive, with the holding power Gorilla is known for. The glue is incredibly water-resistant and dries a natural colour that offers an invisible bond line for your projects. Clamp Time: 20-30 Minutes // Open Time: 5-10 Minutes Dry Time: 80% in 1-2 Hours // Dry Color: Natural Wood Color Full Cure: 24 Hours Application For best results, it is essential that the wood surfaces are prepared prior to application of glue. For laminating, the surfaces should be planed smooth, leaving the board surface free from machine marks, tear-out and snipes. Also, be careful to avoid burnishing and end snipes. Just how much Gorilla Wood Glue to apply depends on many factors. In general, apply a generous amount of glue on one of the surfaces. On hard-to-glue woods, apply the glue on both surfaces. Rub together with the other surface to distribute the glue evenly on both surfaces. Enough glue should be applied so that a fine bead of glue squeeze-out will occur when clamping. Coverage: 1 gallon of Gorilla Wood Glue will cover about 200 square feet. 1 fluid ounce will cover approximately 1.6 square feet. Clamping The technique and type of clamp to be used are determined by many factors: the specific type of joint, type of stock or lumber, the moisture content of stock, room temperature, assembly time and surface quality. In general, apply enough pressure that will cause a fine bead of glue to squeeze out when the proper pressure is applied. Clamping Time (amount of time pressure needs to remain applied): 20–30 minutes for room temperature applications. The temperature must be above 55°F. Note that clamping time can be dependent on temperature, humidity, and the porosity of the wood. Cure Time (amount of time for glue to reach total bonding strength): 24 hours Clean Up Clean up while the glue is wet: Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe off excess glue. Make as many passes as needed with the clean area of the cloth to remove all the glue. When areas have completely dried, and as needed. Wash hands, skin and damp cloths with soap and warm water, then rinse. Clean up when the glue has dried: Use a sharp putty knife, razor, or sharp scraper to shave hardened glue from the surface, then sand as needed. Soak hands and skin in soap and warm water, wash, then rinse. Cleaning the bottle tip: Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe off excess glue after closing. If tip becomes clogged with dry glue, remove the cap and push the clog backwards with a toothpick, then rinse cap with warm water. To remove Gorilla Wood Glue from hands, wash with warm soap and water.

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

A two part epoxy adhesive that bonds with maximum strength. Mixed product gels in 2 hours. Initial bonding is achieved in 6-8 hours with maximum bond strength strength after 3 days. Features Araldite is stronger than other glues due to the chemical reaction of the two parts Bonds a variety of surfaces Dries Clear Very Strong, durable bonding Very high water resistance (e.g. OK for fixing tiles around pool, but not below the water line. For this use Selleys Knead it Aqua) Forms a rigid, durable bond Can be used for gap filling (surfaces need not mate closely) Good chemical resistance Heat Resistant Clamping is recommended to achieve a stronger bond Not suitable for bonding plastics such as Polypropylene and Polyethylene Bond strength weakens above 80°C but strength is regained when temperature drops Where can this product be used? Load bearing repairs Gluing the head back on your hammer Fixing loose table or chair legs. Bonding solid pieces of Aluminium sheeting Bonding timber on your boat Repairing splits and cracks in Cricket bats Bonding fibreglass sheets Repairing Ski’s Fixing Dynabolts and metal rods into concrete What materials is this product suitable for? Glass Metal Wood Fabric Rigid Plastic – will not bond to Polyethylene or Polypropylene plastics Crystal Leather How to use this product Before applying the Araldite mixture, all surfaces MUST be thoroughly clean and dry. All traces of grease, rust paint, etc. should be removed. For best results smooth surfaces should be roughened by mechanical abrasion after solvent cleaning. Onto a clean, disposable surface (e.g. polyethylene or cardboard), dispense equal volumes of Part A and Part B. Thoroughly mix together with a spatula, nail or stick. When using the tubes it is essential to use the correct mixing ratio, i.e. 1 part each Apply adhesive immediately to both surfaces and press together. Clamping is necessary while bond sets over 6-8 hours. Scrape off excess adhesive and wipe mixing utensils immediately. When using tubes, Ensure correct caps are replaced on each tube or they will harden Handy tips For maximum working time, mix in small quantities. Large quantities accelerate the curing process and reduce working time. To extend product life replace caps immediately after use. Ensure you wipe excess from nozzle with a tissue dipped in acetone (or nail polish remover) before replacing cap. When using the tube variant, ensure you replace the correct cap on the correct tube. Placing the wrong cap on the wrong tube will cause the tube to harden. (lids and tubes are colour coded to help) Wipe off any uncured araldite with acetone or nail polish remover. To remove product after cure, mechanical action (scraping or sanding) is recommended. Since the product is chemically resistant solvent will NOT dissolve this product. To reposition the bond once cured, check that the item is heat resistant. If safe, heat the item slowly, e.g. in an oven, to at least 150oC. The product will soften and liquify slightly. Scrape off any excess then reposition the joint carefully using appropriate safety equipment. Allow the item to cool down in the correct position. The product will reharden once returned to room temperature. Clamping recommended for a stronger bond. For cleaning surfaces prior to application of adhesive, if the surface is porous, we would reccomend using Selleys Liquid Sugar Soap. If the surfact is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with Methylated Spirits. If there is old difficult to remove residue such as oold paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as Selleys Kwik Strip Smart. Ensure the surface is dry before applying the product.

  • Packshot of Gyprock CSR Acrylic Stud Adhesive 1 kg

Gyprock Gyprock CSR Acrylic Stud Adhesive 1 kg

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Gyprock CSR Acrylic Stud Adhesive 1 kg is a reliable acrylic stud adhesive for secure plasterboard fixing chosen for home repairs, trade work, and craft builds when you want a bond you can trust. Designed for Australian conditions, it balances strength, ease of use, and clean application so you can get professional results without special tools. The 1 kg pack is ideal for general work and keeps neatly in a toolbox or caddy. Why choose Gyprock CSR CSR for your next project Everyday jobs often involve mixed materials and imperfect surfaces. Gyprock CSR Acrylic Stud Adhesive 1 kg has been formulated to wet out well, grab quickly, and cure to a tough finish that resists movement and contact stress. It maintains bond integrity across common temperature swings and has dependable resistance to moisture and most household chemicals. Whether you are fixing, building, sealing, or assembling, this product gives you confidence from first squeeze through final set. Best for Fixing plasterboard to studs and battens Reducing the chance of nail pops and drumminess Suitable surfaces The adhesive works well on the following surface types when properly prepared: Timber framing and battens Metal studs as directed by code Back of plasterboard Surface preparation Good preparation is the key to a long lasting repair. Remove loose material, dust, and grease. Wipe glossy areas with methylated spirits or an approved cleaner and allow to dry. On very smooth plastics and metals, lightly roughen with fine abrasive paper to give the adhesive a mechanical key. Dry fit parts first and mark alignment points so you can assemble accurately within the open time. If bonding porous materials, ensure both faces are dry and free of surface chalking. How to use Check fit and plan clamping. Do a trial run without adhesive so you know the order of steps. Apply a thin, continuous bead to one surface. For wide pieces, use a zig zag pattern to maximise wetting. Bring surfaces together within the stated open time of install sheets within the wet time window. Reseat once if needed, then hold steady. Apply even pressure using clamps, tape, weights, or temporary fasteners. Avoid squeezing all adhesive out of the joint. Allow to cure undisturbed. Initial handling strength will develop as the adhesive sets, with a full cure reached based on the chemistry described below. Cure profile Apply daubs as specified, then fix sheets with screws or nails. Adhesive cures to a resilient bond that complements mechanical fastening. Temperature and environmental performance Use in moderate temperatures for consistent cure. Avoid application to very cold, sweating, or waterlogged surfaces. For outdoor use protect fresh bonds from rain until the skin has formed and the core has progressed in cure. Once fully cured, the bond resists normal weathering, splash water, and intermittent UV exposure based on the substrate and paint systems used. Clean up and finishing Clean fresh residue with a damp cloth. Scrape away cured beads before setting coats. When cured, excess can be carefully trimmed or sanded. For painted finishes, allow the adhesive to fully cure before priming. Test paint on a small area to confirm compatibility and drying behaviour. Coverage guide Coverage varies with bead size, surface porosity, and technique. As a general guide, a 3 mm bead yields approximately 10 to 12 linear meters per 310 mL cartridge. Smaller packs scale proportionally. Gaps, rough edges, and highly absorbent materials will reduce coverage. Plan an extra margin for offcuts and practice passes. Tips for best results Work within the recommended open time so the adhesive can properly wet the surfaces. Use light clamping pressure to keep parts aligned while maintaining a film thickness for strength. For very porous substrates, apply a thin precoat as a primer layer and allow it to tack before final assembly. Keep joint lines clean by masking edges with painter tape and removing it before the adhesive skins. Where movement or vibration is expected, design the joint to share load across a large area. Troubleshooting Poor adhesion: Check for oil, release agents, or surface dust. Reclean and lightly abrade if necessary. Slow cure: Low temperature and low humidity extend cure time. Maintain moderate conditions for best results. Visible squeeze out: Wipe fresh material with a suitable solvent and a soft cloth. Once cured, trim carefully. Bond line prints through paint: Allow a full cure, then prime and apply thin coats of paint, allowing proper drying between coats. Storage and shelf life Keep sealed. Do not allow to skin in the tub. Always check the pack for a lot code and use by guidance. Reseal immediately after use and store upright. Dispose of empty containers responsibly. Safety Read the label before use. Wear gloves when handling uncured material. Provide ventilation in enclosed areas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets. If sensitivity occurs, stop use and seek advice. Do not ingest. First aid directions and detailed handling information are available on the package and the safety data sheet. Frequently asked questions Can I bond dissimilar materials? Yes, provided each surface is clean and sound. Differences in expansion are managed by the adhesive film thickness and the inherent flexibility after cure. Is clamping required? Light clamping improves alignment and final strength. Excessive pressure can starve the joint of adhesive which reduces performance. Is the bond water resistant? Once cured the bond resists splash water and routine humidity. For permanent immersion choose an adhesive designed for underwater service and follow the manufacturer guidance. Planning your job Measure twice and cut once. Dry assemble parts so you can confirm squareness and alignment before adhesive is involved. Keep rags, clamps, and spacers ready. If you are new to the product, test on offcuts to get a feel for bead size and squeeze out. A consistent 1 to 2 mm bond line is a good starting point for most rigid materials. Thicker lines help when surfaces are uneven. Avoid starving the joint by pressing too hard without giving the adhesive a place to reside. Responsible use Choose an adhesive that suits the materials and the environment the finished piece will face. If a joint will be submerged, carry structural loads, or be exposed to strong chemicals, check the technical data sheet for specific guidance. Many general purpose products are perfect for day to day work, while specialised tasks call for a system designed and tested for that environment. Using the right product first saves time, money, and rework. Aftercare and maintenance Adhesive joints are remarkably strong when used correctly. Design repairs so that routine loads are shared across a generous area. Where heavy vibration is present, pair the adhesive bond with appropriate mechanical fasteners. Keep cleaning chemicals mild, and avoid abrasive pads on visible joints. If a bond will be repainted, choose flexible paint where movement is expected, and keep edges sealed to prevent dirt tracking along the bond line. Recycling and disposal Allow empty containers to cure before disposal. Check local council guidance for recycling of plastics and metal cartridges. Never pour uncured product into drains or soil. Wipe tools on scrap material and let residue harden before placing in general waste. Smart handling keeps the workspace clean and reduces environmental impact.

Dunlop Dunlop Floorfix Professional Tile Adhesive 15 kg

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Dunlop Floorfix Professional Tile Adhesive 15 kg is a reliable cement based floor tile adhesive for porcelain and ceramic tiles chosen for home repairs, trade work, and craft builds when you want a bond you can trust. Designed for Australian conditions, it balances strength, ease of use, and clean application so you can get professional results without special tools. The 15 kg pack is ideal for general work and keeps neatly in a toolbox or caddy. Why choose Dunlop Floorfix for your next project Everyday jobs often involve mixed materials and imperfect surfaces. Dunlop Floorfix Professional Tile Adhesive 15 kg has been formulated to wet out well, grab quickly, and cure to a tough finish that resists movement and contact stress. It maintains bond integrity across common temperature swings and has dependable resistance to moisture and most household chemicals. Whether you are fixing, building, sealing, or assembling, this product gives you confidence from first squeeze through final set. Best for General floor tiling High traffic residential areas Back buttering dense porcelain tiles Suitable surfaces The adhesive works well on the following surface types when properly prepared: Concrete slabs and screeds Cement sheet underlay Existing tiles that are clean and sound Surface preparation Good preparation is the key to a long lasting repair. Bring surfaces together within the stated open time of as indicated on the bag for best wetting and transfer. Cure profile Respect open time and bed thickness. Allow adequate set before grouting and opening to traffic. Temperature and environmental performance Apply in suitable ambient conditions for predictable cure. Clean up and finishing Damp sponge on fresh residue, water clean-up for tools. Storage and shelf life Store sealed and dry to prevent lumping. Selleys Selleys Liquid Nails Fast Grab Construction Adhesive 420g - 3 Pack

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Liquid Nails Fast is a water-based, high-strength construction adhesive with fast grab and low odour. It has a thick, non-runny consistency and is ideal for adhering timbers and other porous construction materials. Once dry, it has a beige (light tan) finish. Uses Liquid Nails Fast has a high initial grab that reduces the need to support joins while the adhesive cures. The grab works best with porous surfaces. It bonds to a wide range of materials including MDF, particle board, timber, plasterboard, styrene foam, masonry, concrete, tiles, ceramics, metals, plastics*, rubber and glass. Faster results occur when at least one surface is porous. Typical applications include: Areas where nailing is not desirable Skirting boards, architraves, and cornices Wall panelling to masonry Styrene foam to metal roofing Technical Features Fast grab – high initial holding reduces slippage on vertical surfaces Complies with AS 2329-1999 (Mastic adhesives for fixing wall boards) Non-drip formula – does not sag or string between panels Bridges gaps and adheres to uneven surfaces Low mess – excess can be wiped away with a damp cloth No solvent fumes – ideal for indoor projects Flexible – withstands thermal movement and vibration Heat resistant – maintains bond strength under sunlight Paintable when dry Easy to extrude in all temperatures Application Tips Use in conjunction with permanent mechanical fasteners except for low-stress applications such as wall panelling or lightweight fixtures. Bonds are not water resistant – protect from water if used outdoors. Drying time is extended in cold or damp conditions and with non-porous materials. Thicker layers take longer to dry. Test plastics before use – adheres well to UPVC but not to polyethylene or polypropylene. For wood flooring, use solvent-based Liquid Nails instead. Satisfactory for fixing sheet flooring to joists with the manufacturer’s minimum nailing specification, but not recommended for bonding sheet flooring to existing or concrete floors. Technical Details & Performance Good bond strength after 24 hours on porous substrates; continues strengthening over 2–3 days. Appearance: Smooth beige paste, free from lumps and air bubbles Specific Gravity: Approx. 1.44 g/mL @ 25°C Viscosity: 7000–9000 Poise Slump: 0 mm (typical) Shear Adhesion Strength (7 days, AS2329): >1500 kPa (Hoop pine substrate) Peel Adhesion Strength (7 days cure): 40 N/25 mm (variant to AS2329) Initial Bond Strength (24 hrs): >200 kPa Heat Resistance: Withstands up to 140°C temporarily. Constant high temperatures may reduce load-holding power. Creep Resistance (under constant load):– At 80°C: holds 500 g (7.8 kPa) on 625 mm² bond area– At 25°C: holds 6 kg (100 kPa) on 625 mm² bond area Coverage Approximately 15 metres of a 5 mm diameter bead. Curing time increases with thicker bonds or larger bond areas. Data provided is indicative only and not for design use. Cleaning Clean with hot soapy water or a damp cloth while wet. Once dry, remove by scraping or peeling. *Always pre-test plastics for adhesion suitability.

Just add water, mix only what you need, and achieve a tough, easy-sand finish with no waste and no shrinking. Brand: Earl’s Interior and exterior use* Mix-on-demand convenience Non-shrinking, smooth finish Easy sanding and shaping Indefinite shelf life in dry powder form Proudly made in Australia *Exterior applications must be sealed/painted and used on stable substrates. About Earl’s Powder Putty Earl’s Powder Putty delivers reliable, high-quality filling for timber, walls, masonry and metal. Because it’s supplied as a dry powder, you can tailor the mix to your task—stiffer for knife-grade filling and sculpting, or looser for fine skim work. The result is a hardwearing repair that sands easily and accepts coatings beautifully. Where Earl’s Powder Putty Works Timber & woodwork: doors, frames, skirting, architraves, furniture, cabinetry Walls & panels: plasterboard and cement sheeting patching and feathering Masonry & concrete: chips, small holes and surface imperfections Metals: minor dents and irregularities prior to priming and painting Floor preparation: quick patching of distressed boards prior to covering Craft & hobby: architectural details, mouldings and small sculpting tasks Why Choose Earl’s No shrink: Formulated to dry without shrinking for flush, invisible repairs. Mix what you need: Reduce waste and always work with a fresh batch. Shapes perfectly: Once dry, Earl’s Powder Putty can be cut, carved, sanded or sawn. Paint-ready: Accepts primers and topcoats after proper dry and prep. Economical & dependable: Indefinite shelf life in powder form when stored dry. Directions for Earl’s Powder Putty Surface prep: Ensure the area is clean, dry and sound. Remove loose material, dust, grease and contaminants. Key glossy surfaces for better adhesion. Mix: In a clean container, add Earl’s Powder Putty and slowly incorporate clean water. Stir to a smooth, lump-free paste. Adjust water to suit the task. Apply: Press the mix firmly into the repair with a putty knife or trowel. Slightly overfill to allow for sanding back flush. Build: For deep repairs, apply in layers, allowing each to firm before adding the next. Finish: Once dry, sand smooth. The cured filler can be carved or sawn to refine edges and profiles. Coat: Prime/seal and paint after full dry. For exterior use, always seal with suitable coatings. Clean-up: Clean tools with water while the product is still wet. Dry and recoat times vary with temperature, humidity and film thickness. Allow extra time in cool or damp conditions and for deep fills. Good to Know About Earl’s Not waterproof by itself: Water and weather resistance requires sealing/painting. Not flexible: Avoid use where movement, vibration or structural flexing is expected. Stable substrates only: Ensure exterior bases are sound and well prepared. Storage: Keep Earl’s Powder Putty dry and tightly closed. Moisture exposure can reduce performance after opening. Safety: Avoid dust during mixing and sanding. Use PPE and adequate ventilation. From small touch-ups to larger restorations, it provides consistent, professional results. Directions (general guide) Surface prep: Ensure the area is clean, dry, sound and free of dust, oil or loose material. For very porous substrates, lightly dampen to reduce rapid suction. Mix: Add powder to clean water and blend to a smooth, lump-free paste. Adjust water to suit application (thicker for filling, looser for fairing/skim). Apply: Press firmly into cracks or voids with a putty knife or trowel. Overfill slightly so you can sand back flush. Cure: Allow to dry thoroughly. Dry time varies with thickness, temperature and humidity. Finish: Sand to profile. Prime and paint or seal. For exterior applications, always seal after full dry. Exterior use guidance This is a hard-setting, non-flexible compound. For exterior use, only apply over stable substrates with minimal expansion and contraction from temperature changes. Ensure the putty is fully dry before sealing with a suitable exterior-grade coating. Finishing & compatibility Paintable and sealable after full dry; prime as required for best results. Can be cut, carved, drilled and sanded after cure without crumbling. For stained timber finishes, test a small area first for colour and absorption. Pro tips Mix small batches and use promptly. For deep voids, apply in layers if needed, allowing each layer to firm before the next. Store powder in a cool, dry place to maintain its unlimited shelf life. Clean tools with water before material cures. Overview This high-quality general-purpose silicone sealant is a versatile solution for a wide range of sealing and bonding applications. Engineered with neutral cure technology, it is designed to provide a durable, flexible, and weather-resistant seal that remains reliable even in demanding environments. Once cured, the sealant forms a strong rubber-like finish that is permanently elastic, ensuring long-lasting performance both indoors and outdoors. Key Features Neutral Cure Technology: Low-odor curing system suitable for sensitive applications. Permanently Flexible: Retains elasticity over time without cracking or shrinking. Waterproof Protection: Provides a watertight seal, protecting against leaks and moisture ingress. Interior & Exterior Use: Unaffected by rain, snow, extreme temperatures, or prolonged UV exposure. Excellent Adhesion: Bonds strongly to most common building materials without primer. Easy Application: Smooth flow from the tube, easy to tool and clean before curing. Applications This sealant is designed for general-purpose use across a variety of materials and environments. Its flexibility and adhesion make it suitable for: Sealing around window and door frames. Lap joints in metal guttering and roofing sheets. Bonding panels such as wood, plasterboard, insulation board, and drywall. Fixing masonry joints including sills, brickwork, and decorative trims. Gap filling around pipes, conduits, and penetration surfaces. General sealing in kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas where flexibility is required. Limitations Not suitable for permanent water immersion (e.g., underwater joints or continuous water load). Not recommended for use on polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), PTFE, neoprene, bituminous surfaces, or very soft plastics. Not intended for deep cavity filling without adequate moisture for curing. Surface Preparation To ensure maximum performance, surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or loose particles. Non-porous surfaces should be wiped with solvent and dried with a clean cloth. Porous surfaces should be lightly abraded or brushed to remove contaminants and improve adhesion. Complete any painting work before applying the sealant. Application Instructions Remove the cap and pierce the nozzle seal. Apply steadily along the joint or surface, ensuring continuous contact. Smooth or tool the bead before skin formation occurs. If masking tape is used, remove immediately after tooling to avoid tearing the cured seal. Curing At room temperature (23°C), the sealant will skin over within 15 minutes and achieve full cure within 24 hours, depending on humidity and joint depth. Once cured, it provides a permanently flexible and weatherproof joint. Cleaning & Maintenance Excess uncured sealant can be cleaned using a cloth dampened with mineral turpentine. Fully cured material should be trimmed away carefully with a sharp blade. Store unused tubes in a cool, dry place below 25°C and away from direct sunlight. Shelf life is up to 12 months from the date of manufacture. Health & Safety Use in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes, as uncured sealant may cause irritation. In case of contact with eyes, flush thoroughly with water and seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children. Always follow safety instructions and refer to the product’s safety data for detailed guidance. Why Choose This General Purpose Silicone Sealant? This sealant is a trusted choice for tradespeople, DIY enthusiasts, and homeowners seeking a reliable solution for everyday sealing needs. Its combination of flexibility, adhesion, and weather resistance ensures that once applied, it continues to protect and bond effectively for years to come.
