For best results, roughen smooth surfaces after cleaning. Dispense equal parts of Part A and Part B onto a clean, disposable surface (e.g. polyethylene or cardboard). Mix thoroughly using a spatula, nail, or stick. Apply immediately to both surfaces and press together. Clamp for 6–8 hours while the bond sets. Remove excess adhesive and clean tools immediately. Replace the correct caps on each tube to prevent hardening. Handy Tips Mix in small quantities for maximum working time – larger mixes cure faster. Replace caps immediately after use and wipe nozzles with acetone or nail polish remover. Do not swap caps between tubes – lids and tubes are colour coded. Uncured Araldite can be wiped off with acetone or nail polish remover. Once cured, remove mechanically by scraping or sanding – solvents will not dissolve it. To reposition a cured bond, heat gradually to 150°C (if the item is heat resistant), reposition, and allow to cool. For surface prep: use Selleys Liquid Sugar Soap on porous materials, or Methylated Spirits on non-porous surfaces. Use Selleys Kwik Strip Smart to remove tough residues if needed. Safety Tips Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid breathing vapours. Do not use solvents near eyes or open wounds. In case of eye contact, rinse with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice. Non-toxic once fully cured. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for more details. A fast setting strong and durable two part epoxy, general purpose adhesive. Mixed product gels in 5 minutes. Initial bonding is achieved in 20 minutes with maximum bond strength after 16 hours. Features Araldite is stronger than other glues due to the chemical reaction of the two parts Bonds a variety of surfaces Dries Clear Quick setting in 5 minutes No clamping necessary Moderate water resistance Forms a rigid, durable bond Can be used for gap filling (surfaces need not mate closely) Good chemical resistance Appearance Clear with a slight yellow tinge Where can this product be used? Bakelite – joining or repairing Bonding shells, stones or pebbles to decorate bottles, lamps, bricks or garden pots Repairing splits or cracks in a tennis racket Repairing metal toys Not suitable for bonding plastics such as Polypropylene and Polyethylene Bond strength weakens above 65°C but strength is regained when temperature drops What materials is this product suitable for? Glass Metal Wood Fabric Rigid Plastic Crystal Leather How to use this product General Use Before applying the Araldite mixture, all surfaces MUST be thoroughly clean and dry. All traces of grease, rust paint, etc. should be removed. For best results, smooth surfaces should be roughened by mechanical abrasion after solvent cleaning. Onto a clean, disposable surface (e.g. polyethylene or cardboard), dispense equal volumes of Part A and Part B. Thoroughly mix together with a spatula, nail or stick. When using the tubes it is essential to use the correct mixing ratio, i.e. 1 part each Apply adhesive immediately to both surfaces and press together. Clamping is not necessary, but allow bond to remain undisturbed for at least 20 minutes. Scrape off excess adhesive and wipe mixing utensils immediately. When using the Araldite 5ml Everyday tube, ensure correct caps are replaced on each tube or they will harden. To use Selleys Araldite Singles: Fold – the pack in half, so that foil is back to back. Tear – carefully along perforations. Squeeze – bubbles to extrude adhesive. Mix – two parts together until well combined. Apply – mixed adhesive to surfaces and bring together. Wipe off excess adhesive and do not apply undue strain to bond for 30 minutes. Handy tips For maximum working time, mix in small quantities. Large quantities accelerate the curing process and reduce working time. To extend product life replace caps immediately after use. Ensure you wipe excess from nozzle with a tissue dipped in acetone (or nail polish remover) before replacing the caps. When using the tube variant, ensure you replace the correct cap on the correct tube. Placing the wrong cap on the wrong tube will cause the tube to harden. (lids and tubes are colour coded to help) Wipe off any uncured araldite with acetone or nail polish remover. To remove product after cure, mechanical action (scraping or sanding) is recommended. Since the product is chemically resistant solvent will NOT dissolve this product. To reposition the bond once cured, check that the item is heat resistant. If safe, heat the item slowly, e.g. in an oven, to at least 150oC. The product will soften and liquify slightly. Scrape off any excess then reposition the joint carefully using appropriate safety equipment. Allow the item to cool down in the correct position. The product will reharden once returned to room temperature. Clamping is recommended for a stronger bond. Singles are great for those unexpected household breakages, so keep them at home, just in case. Keep a box of Selleys Sugar Soap Wipes around for quick & effective clean up. For cleaning surfaces prior to application of adhesive, if the surface is porous, we would reccomend using Selleys Liquid Sugar Soap. If the surface is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with Methylated Spirits. If there is old difficult to remove residue such as oold paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as Selleys Kwik Strip Smart. Ensure the surface is dry before applying the product. Safety tips Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Avoid breathing vapour. Do not use solvents near eyes or open wounds. In case of contact with eyes, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention. Non toxic when set. For further information refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). Storage and re-use Ensure caps are replaced and product stored in a cool dry place.

Colour options White, Teak (Cypress), Ebony, Grey, Jarrah, Merbau, Walnut. How to use Prep: Ensure the area is clean, dry, and sound. Remove loose material and dust. For best glide, lightly wet your putty knife. Apply: Press firmly to fill the defect and smooth off. For deep voids, apply in layers up to 6 mm per pass, allowing each layer to dry before the next. Sand: Once fully dry, sand with 120 grit or finer to achieve a smooth, level surface. Coat: Prime if required, then paint. For clear finishes, tint the filler with suitable colorants or oxides before application to harmonise with surrounding material. Cleanup & care: Clean tools with water. If product thickens in the tub, add a few drops of clean water and stir until smooth. Always reseal promptly. Pro tips Feather edges wide when blending across boards or wall patches. PC-Fahrenheit™ Putty Epoxy is the choice for temperatures up to 260° C. It is supplied as a premeasured stick that you mix with fingers. Fast curing (60 min). Best for steam heat applications. A toolbox must. Great on copper and iron. Here are just a few specific uses (there are hundreds of other uses): Seal cracked steam or hot water radiator Stop leaking steam fittings Fill hole in heat exchanger Attach thermocouple to hot surface Seal chimney ductwork How to prepare a surface for bonding with PC-Fahrenheit™ Remove contaminants such as dust, dirt, oil and grime with a solvent such as denatured alcohol (ethanol), acetone, rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or lacquer thinner. A mild detergent solution in water is also good removing contaminants. Use a clean paper towel or rag for wiping. Remove rust and loose paint with sandpaper or wire brush. Epoxy typically sticks to most paints. If there is a concern of the paint’s adhesion then remove it with sandpaper, wire brush or paint stripper. Smooth, glossy and shiny surfaces should be roughened using sandpaper to increase adhesion. Adhesion to wet or damp surfaces can be improved by wiping with alcohol. Do not use mineral spirits or paint thinner for removing contaminants. How to clean-up after PC-Fahrenheit™ application We recommend wearing disposable gloves when mixing and applying epoxy putty. Remove from skin with soap and warm water. Clean up mixed epoxy before it cures with paper towels and solvent. Denatured alcohol (ethanol), acetone, rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or lacquer thinner are suitable solvents for removing uncured epoxy. Cured epoxy can be physically removed by prying off with a screwdriver or pliers. It can also be removed with paint stripper or remover. Can PC-Fahrenheit™ repair a leaking steam radiator? PC-Fahrenheit™ resists higher temperatures and is suitable for repairing steam pipes and radiators. Can PC-Fahrenheit™ be used in a fireplace or wood burning stove? PC-Fahrenheit™ will withstand temperatures up to 260°C. A fireplace or wood burning stove creates temperatures exceeding 260°C. Can PC-Fahrenheit™ be used to seal heater chimney duct? PC-Fahrenheit™ is excellent for use on sheet metal and the temperature is within an acceptable range. Can PC-Fahrenheit™ seal a rust hole in barbecue grill? PC-Fahrenheit™ can be used on the barbecue grill exterior but is not recommended for the interior. How long should PC-Fahrenheit™ be mixed before applying? Mix PC-Fahrenheit™ for 45 to 60 seconds then immediately apply. What is the temperature limit? PC-Fahrenheit is not intended to exceed 260°C. -  Will PC-Fahrenheit™ burn? PC-Fahrenheit™ is not flame resistant and may burn if exposed to direct flame. Does PC-Fahrenheit™ stick to car radiator? Car radiators are made of various metals and plastic composites. Test for adhesion and test for leaks.

No. It is not recommended for direct or indirect food contact. How do I remove Gorilla Mounting Tape? This is a permanent tape and may cause surface damage on removal. First remove the mounted object by gently prying from a corner. Then slowly stretch the tape parallel to the surface to lift it away. Will it work on plastic, vinyl, or rubber? It adheres to many plastics, but not to low surface energy plastics such as polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), and may not adhere to certain rubbers with high oil or plasticizer content. How do I remove the liner? After applying tape to the object, lift the clear liner from a corner using a fingernail, the edge of packaging, or a blade. You can also pinch and stretch a corner of the tape at about a 40 degree angle until the liner lifts. Always clean and dry surfaces before application. Test first on delicate surfaces. Initial bonding is achieved in 20 minutes with maximum bond strength after 16 hours. Weather and yellowing resistant. Shock resistant. Features: -Araldite is stronger than other glues due to the chemical reaction of the two parts. -Bonds a variety of surfaces -Dries Crystal Clear so there’s no visible evidence of repair -Quick setting in 5 minutes -No clamping necessary -High water resistance -Forms a rigid, durable bond -Can be used for gap filling (Surfaces need not mate closely) -Good chemical resistance -Heat Resistant -Doesn’t yellow over time so is ideal for use on glassware Appearance: Crystal Clear Where can this product be used? -Fixing a broken glass vase -Repairing jewellery -Toy repairs -Fixing ornaments or crockery -Fixing your handbag strap -Not suitable for bonding plastics such as Polypropylene and Polyethylene or for use on polystyrene What materials is this product suitable for? -Glass -Metal -Wood -Fabric -Rigid Plastic -Crystal -Leather How to use this product: -Before applying the Araldite mixture, all surfaces MUST be thoroughly clean and dry. -All traces of grease, rust paint, etc. should be removed. -For best results, smooth surfaces should be roughened by mechanical abrasion after solvent cleaning. -Onto a clean, disposable surface (e.g. polyethylene or cardboard), dispense equal volumes of Part A and Part B. Thoroughly mix together with a spatula, nail or stick. When using the tubes it is essential to use the correct mixing ratio, i.e. 1 part each -Apply adhesive immediately to both surfaces and press together. Clamping is not necessary, but allow the bond to remain undisturbed for at least 20 minutes. Scrape off excess adhesive and wipe mixing utensils immediately. -When using tube kit, ensure correct caps are replaced on each tube or they will adhere. Handy tips: -A useful solvent to clean up epoxy and polyester resins BEFORE they are cured can be prepared by mixing 2 parts toluene with 1 part alcohol (eg methylated spirits or denatured alcohol). -Clamping is recommended for a stronger bond. -For a maximum working time, mix in small quantities. Large quantities accelerate the curing process and reduce working time. -To extend product life replace caps immediately after use. -When using the tube variant, ensure you replace the correct cap on the correct tube. Placing the wrong cap on the wrong tube will cause the tube to harden. (lids and tubes are colour coded to help) -Wipe off any uncured Araldite with acetone or nail polish remover. -To remove product after cure, mechanical action (scraping or sanding) is recommended. Since the product is chemically resistant solvent will NOT dissolve this product. -To reposition the bond once cured, check that the item is heat resistant. If safe, heat the item slowly, e.g. in an oven, to at least 150oC. The product will soften and liquify slightly. -Scrape off any excess then reposition the joint carefully using appropriate safety equipment. Allow the item to cool down in the correct position. The product will reharden once returned to room temperature. -Keep a box of Selleys Sugar Soap Wipes around for quick & effective cleanup -For cleaning surfaces prior to application of adhesive, if the surface is porous, we would recommend using Selleys Liquid Sugar Soap. If the surface is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with Methylated Spirits. If there is old difficult to remove residue such as old paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as Selleys Kwik Strip Smart. Safety tips: -Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. -Avoid breathing vapour. -Do not use solvents near eyes or open wounds. -In case of contact with eyes, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention. -Non-toxic when set. Tommy Tape® Self-Fusing Silicone Tape The next generation of tape is here — premium, adhesive-free repair and sealing tape for fast fixes at home, on the job, and on the road. Tommy Tape self-fusing silicone tape saves time and money across plumbing, electrical, automotive, marine, garden, and industrial jobs. Unlike vinyl or cloth tapes, it uses no adhesive. Instead, it chemically bonds (self-fuses) to itself on contact to form a tough, flexible, and permanently water-tight wrap — even underwater. Why you’ll love it Extreme temperature range: operates from −65 °F to +500 °F (approx. −54 °C to +260 °C). Electrical safety: insulates up to 8,000 V per layer (typical PVC electrical tape ≈ 600 V). Leaves no residue: no adhesive means no sticky mess when removed. Weather- & waterproof: seals within seconds; ideal for outdoor and marine use. Flexible & form-fitting: stretches over 300% to wrap irregular shapes, fittings, and bends. Built to last: resists UV, oil, salt, and common chemicals; helps combat corrosion. Popular uses Plumbing: emergency seals on copper, PVC, and garden hoses; patch vacuum and pool hoses. Electrical: bundling and insulating leads, wire harnesses, extension-cord strain relief (power off first). Automotive & 4×4: wrap frayed looms, protect hoses, create quick roadside fixes. Marine: mast boot wraps, deck-side waterproofing, salt-spray protection. Tools & grips: re-grip shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, gym dumbbells, walking canes. Sports & DIY: re-grip golf clubs, tennis/pickleball paddles; improve wheelchair and shower-chair grip. Home & garden: weatherproof outdoor cables, protect back-yard gear and appliances. Industrial: protective wraps on fittings, temporary containment where adhesives aren’t suitable. How to apply (best results) Prep: Turn power/water off where applicable. Clean and dry the area if possible. Start & anchor: Peel off the liner, stretch the tape as you begin to wrap, and press the starting end onto itself to anchor. Stretch & overlap: Stretch to at least 2× its length (more stretch = stronger fuse). Overlap each wrap by ½ width. Build layers: Add additional layers for higher pressure, stronger seals, or increased dielectric protection. Finish: End the wrap on itself and press firmly. Full fusion develops quickly; handle with care while it sets. Remove: Cut off (do not unwind) when it’s time to replace — it leaves no residue. Specifications Material Silicone rubber (self-fusing) Adhesive None (bonds to itself on contact) Dielectric Strength Up to 8,000 V per layer (build layers for higher insulation) Temperature Range −65 °F to +500 °F (approx. −54 °C to +260 °C) Resistance UV, oil, salt, weather, and common household/automotive chemicals Water Performance Weatherproof & waterproof; can be applied underwater in many scenarios Elongation Stretches over 300% for tight, conformal wraps Removal Cut off to remove; no sticky residue Colours / Sizes Varies by SKU (see options above) Better than traditional tapes Feature Tommy Tape Self-Fusing Silicone Vinyl / Cloth Electrical Tape Adhesive No adhesive (self-fuses) Pressure-sensitive adhesive (leaves residue) Waterproof Seal Yes — seals in seconds; can be used underwater Limited; adhesive can lift when wet Dielectric Strength Up to 8,000 V per layer Typically ~600 V Temperature Range −54 °C to +260 °C Narrower range; softens or becomes brittle UV/Chemical Resistance Excellent (UV, oil, salt, chemicals) Moderate; can degrade outdoors Residue on Removal None — clean cut-off Commonly leaves sticky residue FAQs Can I use it on live electrical circuits? No. Always switch power off before wrapping. Build sufficient layers for the required insulation, and follow local electrical standards. Will it stick to wet or oily surfaces? Because it bonds to itself (not the substrate), it can often be applied in damp or even underwater situations. For best results, clean and dry the area first. Is it reusable? Once fused, it forms a single mass. Cut it off to remove; it won’t unwind. Apply a fresh wrap if needed. What isn’t it for? Not a substitute for permanent structural repairs. Avoid use on fuel lines or high-pressure systems without proper engineering sign-off. Notes: Performance values are typical and depend on application method, substrate, and number of layers. Always test on a small area first. Follow safety guidelines for electrical and pressurised systems.

(ISO 34) Service Temperature −40 °C to +70 °C SUBSTRATE PREPARATION The substrate must be clean, dry, sound and homogeneous, free from oils, grease, dust and loose or friable particles. Sikaflex® Crystal Clear adheres without primers and/or activators. However, for optimum adhesion and critical, high performance applications, such as on multi-story buildings, highly stressed joints, extreme weather exposure or water immersion, the following priming and/or pretreatment procedures shall be followed: Non-porous substrates Aluminium, anodised aluminium, stainless steel, PVC, galvanised steel, powder coated metals or glazed tiles have to be cleaned and pre-treated using Sika® Aktivator-205, wiped on with a clean towel. Before sealing, allow a flash-off time of > 15 minutes (< 6 hours). Other metals, such as copper, brass and titanium-zinc, also have to be cleaned and pre-treated using Sika® Aktivator-205,wiped on with a clean towel. After the necessary flash-off time, use a brush to apply Sika® Primer-3 N and allow a further flash-off time of > 30minutes (< 8 hours) before sealing the joints. Porous substrates Concrete, aerated concrete and cement based renders, mortars and bricks shall be primed using Sika® Primer-3 N applied with a brush. Before sealing, allow a flash-off time of > 30 minutes (< 8 hours). For more detailed advice and instructions please contact the local Sika Technical Services Department. Note: Primers are adhesion promoters. They are neither a substitute for the correct cleaning of a surface, nor do they improve the strength of the surface significantly. Bonding After substrate preparation, apply Sikaflex® Crystal Clear in beads, strips or spots to the bonding surface in intervals of a few centimetres each. Use hand pressure only to set the element to be bonded into position. If necessary, use SikaTack® Panel Tape during the initial hours of curing. An incorrectly positioned element can easily be unfastened and repositioned during the first few minutes after application. Apply pressure again. Optimum bonding will be obtained after the complete curing of Sikaflex® Crystal Clear. The recommended adhesive layer thickness (depending on surface evenness) is ≤3 mm. Fresh, uncured adhesive remaining on the surface must be removed immediately. Final strength will be obtained after complete curing of Sikaflex® Crystal Clear. Sealing After the necessary substrate preparation, insert a suitable backing rod to the required depth and apply any primer if necessary. Insert a cartridge into the sealant gun and extrude Sikaflex® Crystal Clear into the joint making sure that it comes into full contact with the sides of the joint and avoids any air entrapment. Sikaflex® Crystal Clear sealant must be firmly tooled against the joint sides to ensure adequate adhesion. It is recommended to use masking tape where exact joint lines or neat lines are required. Remove the tape within the skin time. Do not use tooling products containing solvents. Cleaning of Tools Clean all tools and application equipment immediately after use with Sika® Remover-208 and/or Sika® Wonder Wipes. Once cured, residual material can only be removed mechanically.

Surface treatment depends on the substrate and is crucial for durability. Refer to the current Sika® Pre-treatment Chart for Marine Applications and verify with tests on original substrates. Application Process between 5 °C and 40 °C; reactivity and handling change with temperature and humidity. Optimum substrate and product temperature is 15 – 25 °C. Apply with hand, pneumatic, or electric piston guns, or suitable pump equipment. Tooling & Finishing Tool within the skin time. Recommended finishing agent: Sika® Tooling Agent N (test any alternative agent for suitability). Cleaning & Removal Uncured material: remove from tools/equipment with Sika® Remover-208 or a suitable solvent. Cured material: remove mechanically (e.g. knife, wire, abrasion). Skin/hands: clean immediately with Sika® Cleaner-350H towels or an appropriate industrial hand cleaner and water. Do not use solvents on skin. Overpainting Best painted after skin formation; performance can be improved by treating the joint surface with Sika® Aktivator-100 or Sika® Aktivator-205 before painting. If the paint requires baking > 80 °C, allow the sealant to fully cure first. Always conduct preliminary trials under manufacturing conditions. Avoid using enamel, alkyd, and chlorinated rubber paints on the joint area. Compliance & Approvals Meets requirements set out by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Associated with the marine “Wheelmark” conformity mark under the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) where applicable. FAQs Can Sikaflex®-291 be overpainted? Yes, once cured and after preliminary testing for compatibility. Note that paint elasticity is usually lower than the sealant’s and may crack over the joint. Enamel, alkyd, and chlorinated rubber paints should not be used on the joint area. What is a “marine grade” sealant/adhesive? Sika’s marine range is designed for flexible, waterproof, and durable assemblies across vessels from small yachts to large ships, for maintenance and construction tasks above and below the waterline. When and why should a primer be used? Primers promote adhesion on certain substrates. Sika® Primer-210 is commonly used prior to applying 1-component polyurethanes like Sikaflex®-291. Always confirm with testing. What does the Wheelmark indicate? The Wheelmark symbolizes conformity with marine equipment standards under the EU Marine Equipment Directive (MED). Which substrates does Sikaflex®-291 bond to? Wood; metals, metal primers and 2-C paint systems; ceramics; and plastics such as GRP. Avoid plastics prone to stress cracking (e.g. acrylic/Plexiglas®, polycarbonate). How do I remove Sikaflex®-291? Uncured: Sika® Hand Wipes or Sika® Remover-208 for tools/surfaces. Cured: mechanical methods (knife, wire, abrasion). Remover-208 will not remove cured material. Important: Information above is based on typical data. Performance depends on substrate, preparation, joint design, and application conditions. Conduct on-site tests to verify suitability. Always consult the latest Technical Data Sheet (TDS) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS).

SELLEYS LIQUID NAILS Original is a premium grade multi-purpose construction adhesive that delivers a consistently strong and lasting bond on most building materials. Shrinkage and thermal movement in buildings can cause bonds to weaken over time, but Liquid Nails is flexible enough to respond to movement allowing a strong bond to be maintained over time. Features Strong bond – which will cope with shrinkage and thermal movement, so you know the job will last. Adheres well to wet and dry timber, so there is no need to wait for the timber to dry. Easily extruded and easy to use in low Winter temperatures, so it allows you to continue with the job at low temperatures. Paintable when dry, to give you a neat, quality finished job. Doesn’t drip, sag or string, so there is less mess when you are using the product. Is available in a range of sizes and delivery styles. Meets requirements specified by Australian Standard AS 2329-1999. Bridges gaps on rough and ill fitting construction material Has a life expectancy, when cured, of 20 years Not for use on polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon, silicone or polystyrene. Perfect for use: Sheet flooring to joists Metal or aluminium door strips to floors or walls Timber or fibre cement sheeting to cement block or brick walls Masonite to timber Wallboard or panelling to wood or metal frames Cork tiles to timber, fibro or plaster Tempered hardboard to floorboards To eliminate the squeaks in tongue & groove boards Not suitable for use on Mirrors, use Liquid Nails Mirrors, Metal and Glass Not suitable for use on Styrene Foam, use Liquid Nails Fast Not suitable for metals heated by direct sunlight, as bonds weaken at high temperatures. eg metal roofing and siding. Not suitable for bonding materials in areas which will be constantly damp or wet. Not suitable for use in tightly clamped joints eg cabinet making or joinery use Selleys Aquadhere What materials is this product suitable for? Brick & Concrete Plasterboard, particleboard & fibre cement sheeting Ceramic tiles Aluminium Painted surfaces Timber Hardboards Render Many other building surfaces   How to use this product Ensure the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, oil and loose powdery materials. If porous surfaces are greasy or dirty, we would recommend cleaning the surface with SELLEYS LIQUID SUGAR SOAP, and allow to dry. If the surface is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with Mineral Turpetine and then again with Methylated Spirits, and allow to dry. If there is old difficult to remove residue such as old flaky paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as SELLEYS KWIK STRIP SMART, and allow to dry. On wet timber pooled water should be wiped off. Highly oily timber types may need to be wiped with solvent prior to application to remove surface oils. We also recommend sanding the surface back with a good quality sanding block, such as a ROTA COTA Sanding Block Medium/ Course grain, as the construction adhesive will adhere more readily to a scratched up surface. Cut the seal at the top of the cartridge. Cut the nozzle end to desired opening (approx. 5mm diameter). Fit to the top of the cartridge. Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun such as SELLEYS LIGHT SPEED Caulking gun. We recommend SELLEYS LIGHT SPEED Caulking Gun, as its new innovative pressure release design reduces the mess which results from run on and stress on your hands, which is critical if you are doing a lot of work which requires a caulking gun. Apply a bead of product along the length of the joist, stud or batten. On broad flat surfaces apply beads every 40cm. Fix the surfaces with sufficient nails, screws or clamping to hold load and achieve contact over the total bond area. The product is repositionable for up to 20 minutes after fitting. Allow the adhesive to set (at least 24 hours) before removing any temporary fasteners or clamping. For faster grab, apply to one surface only, press together and pull apart. Allow surfaces to dry 2-5 minutes before firmly joining. The time it takes to form a strong bond depends on the nature and conditions of the application. In most situations strong bonds can be achieved after 24 hours and will continue to strengthen over a 2-3 day period. The product will fully cure up to 7 days. When the product is still wet it can be removed with mineral turpetine, otherwise if the product is dry it can be removed by sanding or scraping, we recommend using a 50mm ROTA COTA Soft Grip Scraper. Clean any excess from your hands with SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipes. To eliminate squeaks in tongue and groove flooring, apply a bead of Liquid nails into the groove or each board when installing. Handy tips When applying to one surface, ensure sufficient LIQUID NAILS Original is used so that some adhesive extrudes out when surfaces are brought together then wipe off excess if necessary. If glue is not visible, then insufficient contact may not have been made between the surfaces and a weak joint may result. LIQUID NAILS Original should always be used in conjunction with mechanical fasteners in structural, critical or high stress applications. LIQUID NAILS Original is sometimes called LIQUID NAILS (SOLVENT) to differentiate it from the other Liquid Nails products. LIQUID NAILS Original shrinks slightly on curing. Cured LIQUID NAILS Original residues can be removed by holding a rag soaked in Mineral Turps against the residue, then rubbing the residue once softened. Mineral Turps penetrates in this way at approximately 1 mm per hour. When Liquid Nails Original joints are directly exposed to the weather, it is recommended to seal around the edges with a silicone sealant to prevent water ponding inside the joint and thus weaken the joint. LIQUID NAILS Original is NOT recommended for use on mirrors or polystyrene. Use LIQUID NAILS MIRROR METAL GLASS for mirrors and LIQUID NAILS FAST for polystyrene. Keep a pack of SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipes handy to wipe up any spills and for cleaning any material off the skin before it cures. They are an easy and effective way to keep clean on the job.

Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before product hardens. Handy tips Ensure the putty and hardener are mixed properly. Knead-It will become warm as it is mixed, A good indication its mixed properly is when you have a uniform colour and feel a mild heat radiating from the knead-it. To help determine when your knead it has set, keep a small piece off to check- when it is hard, it indicates your job is done. Use Knead-It Aqua for applications in wet/ submerged areas. Use Knead-It Steel for applications on metal or fuel contact For cleaning surfaces prior to application of adhesive, if the surface is porous, we would recommend using SELLEYS Liquid Sugar Soap. If the surface is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with mineral turpentine and then again with methylated spirits. If there is old, difficult to remove residue such as old paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as SELLEYS Kwik Strip Smart. Ensure the surface is dry before applying the product Keep a canister of SELLEYS Sugar Soap Wipes nearby for a quick and effective cleanup Safety tips Where possible wear protective gloves when using Knead-It Multi-Purpose. Contact with skin may result in irritation. Epoxy resin is a known skin sensitiser. Repeated or prolonged skin contact may lead to allergic contact dermatitis. If redness or swelling of the skin occurs, wash thoroughly with soap and water. Seek medical attention if in any doubt. Mixed and cured material is not hazardous. Cured material can only be removed by cutting and abrasion. If cured on the skin, it will peel off in a few days without assistance. Soaking in warm water will assist removal. Storage and re-use Replace silver disc to seal ends and keep in a cool dry place.

Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up. Cut the seal at the top of the cartridge and cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, to the size of the gap opening. Fit the nozzle to the top of the cartridge. Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun such as SELLEYS LIGHT SPEED Caulking gun. We recommend SELLEYS LIGHT SPEED Caulking Gun, as its new innovative pressure release design reduces the mess which results from run on and stress on your hands, which is critical if you are doing a lot of sealing. Hold the caulking gun at a 45° angle. Press the nozzle opening against the joint, apply steady pressure to the caulking gun and extrude the silicone sealant forcing the sealant into the gap and move in a pushing motion, along the joint in one smooth action. For a smooth finish, smooth with a finger dipped in mineral turpetine or for a professional finish use a paint scraper such as a 50mm ROTA COTA Soft Grip Scraper dipped in mineral turpetine. Excess sealant must be cleaned up before the sealant skins in 5-10 minutes. Wipe excess away with a cloth dampened in mineral turpetine or use a SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipe. Contact SELLEYS if unsure. Handy tips Tips for Using a Silicone Sealant on Glass Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up. The depth of the sealant should be no more than 10mm in joints. To fill larger joints use a suitable backing rod (such as closed cell polyethylene foam or similar), leaving the gap depth no larger than half the width of the joint. When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of silicone sealant. Remove the tape before the silicone sealant skins. For a better finish complete painting prior to use of the sealant as it can not be painted over. For a better finish, use a spatula dipped in mineral turpetine or detergent and water to tool off the sealant. Work in sections that can be completed before sealant skins. Tooling off and tape removal must be completed before skinning occurs or a rough surface may result, so working in sections allows for a better finish. Keep a pack of SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipes handy to wipe up any spills and for cleaning any material off the skin before it cures. They are an easy and effective way to keep clean on the job. Safety tips Uncured product may irritate eyes. If in eyes, flood the eyes for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice. Avoid contact with skin, if contact occurs, wipe off immediately and wash with detergent. It may irritate sensitive skin. Avoid breathing in vapours. Ensure you use a well-ventilated area as product releases acetic acid while curing. For advice, contact a Poisons Information Centre (AUS 131 126; NZ 0800 764 766) or a doctor. For further detail on the safe use of this product, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet, which can be downloaded from this site. Keep away from children. Storage and re-use Store in cool dry conditions, below 30°C The sealant should be used within 6 months after opening. After use, keep the nozzle on the cartridge. Silicone is a reactive product and is designed to cure once exposed to humidity. While the product may be stored for a few months once opened, it does have a limited shelf life. Storage in an upright position in a cool dry place is recommended to maximise the storage life. If the sealant is going to be used again within a few days, leave the nozzle on and merely extrude approximately 2 cm of the product before storing the cartridge upright. This will cure to a plug which can easily be pulled out when required. For longer storage periods, leave the nozzle on and place a piece of plasticene or Blu Tack over the end of the nozzle. Tightly tape a piece of aluminium foil over the whole nozzle to exclude any air. When you want to re-use the product, simply take off the foil and plug from the old nozzle pull out the excess silicone from the nozzle with a corkscrew, then re-pierce any cure at the tip of the cartridge and re-use. If cure has taken place into the cartridge, the product is unlikely to be in a useable state and should be discarded.

Liquid Nails Fast is a water-based high strength (*) construction adhesive with fast grab and low odour. It has a thick, non-runny consistency and is ideal for adhering timbers and other porous construction materials. After drying it is beige (light tan) in colour. UsesLiquid Nails Fast has high initial (immediate) grab which reduces the need to support joins while the adhesive cures. The initial grab works best with porous surfaces. It will bond to many building materials including MDF, particle board, timber, plaster board, styrene foam, masonry, concrete, tiles, ceramics, metals, plastics*, rubber and glass. Faster results are achieved when at least one surface is porous. Liquid Nails Fast would typically be used for the following applications: Areas where nailing is not desirableSkirting boards, architraves, cornicesWall panelling to masonryStyrene foam to metal roofing Technical FeaturesFast grab – high initial holding minimises slippage when adhering on vertical surfacesMeets or exceeds AS 2329-1999 (Mastic adhesives for fixing wall boards)Does not drip, sag or string between panelsBridges gaps and will adhere materials with uneven surfacesLow mess – excess and squeeze out is easily cleaned up with wet clothNo solvent fumes – ideal for large indoor jobsHigh flexibility – will withstand thermal movement and vibrationHigh heat resistance – will not lose bonds exposed to sunPaintable when dryEasy to extrude at all temperatures Application TipsLiquid Nails Fast should always be used in conjunction with permanent mechanical fasteners except in low stress applications such as wall panelling and fixing light weight objects. (Bonds may creep under constant heavy loads.)Bonds are not water resistant. Protect bonds from water penetration if used in exterior applications. In cold or damp weather and between non-porous materials drying time is greatly extendedThick applications take longer to dry than thin applicationsPre-test plastics to determine suitable bonding. Adheres well to UPVC. Not suitable for polyethylene and polypropylene. For wood flooring applications Liquid Nails (solvent based) is recommended. [Liquid Nails Fast is satisfactory for fixing sheet flooring (particleboard/ply) to joists in conjunction with the manufacturer’s minimum nailing specification but is not recommended for fixing sheet wood flooring to flat surfaces such as existing or concrete floors. Technical Details and PerformanceFor porous substrates good bond strength is achieved after 24 hours and will continue to strengthen over 2-3 day period. Time for strong bond depends on nature and conditions of application. In cold or damp weather and between non-porous materials, drying time is greatly extended. Crystal clear Can be used even on damp/wet and impervious surfaces. Closest you will get to a transparent Ritetack 290ml tube Used indoors and outdoors as long as not exposed to UV. Clear adhesive Invisifix is a versatile 290ml tube of clear construction adhesive that lets you see exactly what you’re gluing. A quick, easy-to-use, water-friendly clear construction adhesive allows you to see exactly what you’re gluing. Reasons why to use Invisifix The excess clear construction adhesive always finds a way to make itself noticeable. Sometimes it is even difficult to remove it. With Invisifix, you don’t have to worry about unaesthetic colours since it is literally see-through! Amazing fast grab! That means no time wasted holding things into place while you wait for them to adhere. With Invisifix, you apply it to the surface, and it immediately sticks! Invisifix is water-friendly, so no more breaking a sweat while trying to dry surfaces before applying. This comes in handy if you’re thinking of applying Invisifix Clear Adhesive in areas prone to humidity and dampness, like bathrooms, pool areas, or kitchens. This adhesive can stretch up to 375% from its original size, and that’s important if you want some flexibility in your adhesion. That means that sudden movements like some impact won’t compromise the integrity of your adhesive and of whatever it is holding. Not only does Invisifix work on virtually any surface, but it also won’t stain any of them, including the porous ones, like a stone!

Ideal for small repair jobs or when immediate results are required. Water resistant not water proof, therefore not suitable for surfaces that will be continually wet Not suitable for bonding plastics such as Polypropylene and Polyethylene. Leather may become hardened or discoloured For interior use only Not suitable for repairing items that are in direct contact with hot liquids Will not permanently bond glass or materials containing alkaline elements. Has no gap filling properties therefore surfaces need to be a close fit Not recommended for highly porous surfaces What materials is this product suitable for? Bonds a variety of porous and non-porous surfaces Metals China Rubber Leather Some plastics Wood How to use this product Supa Glue works best when the surfaces to be bonded are close fitting. Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and free of dust. Hold bottle in an upright position. Pierce seal by attaching nozzle and cap and turning clockwise. Remove cap and squeeze gently to apply a small amount of glue to one surface. Bring surfaces together and apply slight pressure. (30 seconds). The product grabs within 5-30 seconds, depending on environmental conditions and substrates to be bonded. Allow 30 minutes for sufficient bond strength for practical use. Maximum bond strength reached after 12 hours. Handy tips Cyanoacrylate adhesives can create a white residue on the surface of a substrate if the area is not well ventilated. Clean the affected area with acetone to remove residue. For best performance from this product after opening, store in the refrigerator or in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Excellent when used with other adhesives, as the temporary tack For best results, ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean, free of dust, dry and close fitting In the event that fingers get stuck together – don’t panic! Slowly twist fingers in opposite direction in hot soapy water. Acetone (nail polish remover) or Olive oil can also be used to remove Quick Fix from skin. While superglue is not recommended for use on some plastics, if your kids have broken their favourite toy, try this method: Line up the two pieces, glue it, leave it for 24hours to dry, then drop more glue on the break area like a ‘collar’/protective layer. Since Quick Fix cures with moisture set times may be extended on very dry surfaces or under dry conditions. Super glues cure more slowly when large amounts are used. For faster cure use sparingly. Safety tips Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Avoid breathing vapour. Quick Fix is non-hazardous once cured. Where Quick Fix residues are on the skin, it is recommended that the skin be soaked in warm to hot water to allow easy removal. It is not advisable to try to remove the cured adhesive by pulling and scraping the skin as this will only serve to damage the skin. Alternatively rub in hand cream or vegetable oil to accelerate the natural process of the skin sloughing off to remove the residue. Where immediate adhesive removal is considered necessary apply a solvent such as acetone (nail polish remover) then wash off with soapy water. Apply hand cream to replace naturals oils in skin. Do not use solvents near eyes or open wounds. In case of contact with eyes, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention. Non toxic when set. Storage and re-use After use, wipe excess product from nozzle with a tissue dipped in acetone (found in some nail polish removers). Reseal cap in a clockwise direction. Tap bottle lightly on a flat surface to clear excess product from nozzle. To remove excess from substrates, it is recommended that the material be soaked in a solution of acetone and water (i.e. 3 parts acetone to 1 part water). Where soaking is not possible, try placing a piece of absorbant material (eg cotton wool) soaked in acetone on the excess for 5 to 10 minutes, topping up the acetone if it evaporates. Gently rub the surface with the material to remove the residues. TEST THE SURFACE IN AN INCONSPICUOUS SPOT to ensure it is unaffected by acetone before attempting removal using thias method. Ensure cap is replaced and store in a cool dry place. Cyanoacrylate based adhesives polymerise in the presence of moisture. Store Upright. For best performance from this product after opening, store in the refrigerator or in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
