  • Earl's Wood Hardener Water-Based Rotten Timber Consolidator Earl's Wood Hardener Water-Based Rotten Timber Consolidator

Timbermate Earl's Wood Hardener Water-Based Rotten Timber Consolidator

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Earl’s Wood Hardener - Restore Soft, Rotted Timber Like New Bring weakened, decayed timber back to life with Earl’s Wood Hardener. This water-based consolidator penetrates deep into soft, rotted fibres and bonds them into a tough, stable base that’s ready for filling, sanding, and painting. Use it to save windowsills, frames, posts, decking boards, furniture, fences, and more—without costly tear-outs or replacements. Why Customers Love It Repairs instead of replacing: Restores soft, crumbly timber to near original strength so you can patch and repaint. Water-based formulation: Low odour, no volatile organic compounds, and non-toxic when cured. Ready to use: Pre-mixed; just shake and apply—no diluting or measuring. Works inside and out: Ideal for interior and exterior timber exposed to weathering. Versatile application: Pour, brush, spray, or syringe to saturate deep into affected areas. Long shelf life: Stays usable for extended periods when stored correctly. Proudly Australian made: Developed for local conditions and everyday DIY and trade use. Where to Use Window sills and sashes, door frames, posts, fences, balustrades, fascia boards, decking edges, outdoor furniture, indoor furniture, trims, mouldings—any non-structural timber showing soft rot or fibre breakdown. How It Works The thin, penetrating formula wicks into softened timber fibres. As it cures, it binds those fibres together to form a firm, stable base that can be filled, sanded, and coated. No need to carve out all the rot—thorough saturation does the heavy lifting. Directions Prep: Ensure the area is dry. Remove dirt, dust, grease, loose paint, varnish, and flaky wood. Mask adjacent finishes if needed. Apply: Shake well. Generously pour, brush, spray, or syringe the hardener into the affected timber. Repeatedly saturate to drive product deep into fibres. Cure: Allow to cure until solid and no longer tacky to the touch. Extremely soft timber may need multiple treatments. Repair: Fill voids with a compatible wood filler, let set, then sand smooth. Finish: Prime/seal and paint or coat as desired. Pro Tip For deep penetration around a localized patch of rot, mark approximately 75 mm either side of the soft area and drill small holes between those points. Brush, spray, or syringe the hardener into the holes until saturation is achieved. Clean-Up & Safety Clean tools and drips with water while wet. Use above 7 °C and in well-ventilated areas. Non-toxic when cured. Always follow label directions and keep out of reach of children. Compatibility Once cured, the hardened substrate accepts most timber fillers and putties. After filling and sanding, it can be primed and top-coated with typical timber paints and finishes. Always test on a small area for compatibility. Limitations Not for structural load-bearing repairs. Not recommended for constant water immersion or areas that cannot be dried prior to application. Timber must be reasonably sound after consolidation; heavily degraded material may require multiple treatments or replacement. Specifications Type Water-based timber consolidant / hardener Use Restoring soft, rotted, non-structural timber prior to filling and painting Appearance Low viscosity liquid; dries clear/transparent Odour / VOC Low odour; no volatile organic compounds Application Methods Pour, brush, spray, or syringe to saturate fibres Interior / Exterior Suitable for both Minimum Application Temperature Above 7 °C Cure Indicator Ready for filling when firm and not tacky to the touch Clean-Up Water while wet Shelf Life In excess of 2 years when stored sealed in a cool, dry place Substrates Soft or rotted timber (non-structural), interior and exterior Country of Manufacture Australia Packaging Ready-to-use container What’s in the Box Earl’s Wood Hardener (ready to use) Storage Keep container tightly closed. Store upright in a cool, dry location away from freezing and direct heat. Do not allow product to dry out in the container. Disposal Allow residual product to cure before disposal. Follow local waste regulations. Important Notes Always read and follow the product label before use. Test on a discreet area to confirm adhesion and finish compatibility. The consolidated timber is not structural and should not be relied upon for load-bearing applications.

Electronics & sensitive parts: Power down first; use a lightly damp section of the wipe and avoid pooling liquid. The Raven RP48 White Self Adhesive Weather Strip is a soft EPDM rubber compression seal for the gap between a door or window frame and its stop, supplied as a 5 metre coil in white. It is made for gaps of 3 to 5mm and helps reduce draughts, dust, noise and insects around the home.About the productThe strip is made from soft EPDM rubber with a self-adhesive backing, so it peels and sticks without tools or fixings. It is designed to sit in the corner between the stop and the frame, where it compresses as the door or window closes to form a snug seal. It is sold as a 5m pack (2 x 2.5m lengths), which is generally enough for an average door frame.Where to use itIndoors: around internal door frames and window frames to cut draughts, rattles and sound transfer.Outdoors: around external doors and windows to help keep out heat, cold, rain, insects and bushfire embers. It suits timber, aluminium and PVC door and window frames where there is a consistent 3 to 5mm gap.How to use it Check that your gap sits within the 3 to 5mm range. Clean the frame so it is dry, smooth and free of dust and grease. Painted surfaces should be fully cured. Cut the strip to length with scissors or a box cutter. Peel back the backing and press the strip firmly into the corner between the stop and the frame. Close the door or window to check the seal compresses evenly without being forced. Important notesSelf-adhesive seals will not stick well to oily or oil-rubbed finishes, so make sure the surface is properly prepared. The strip is designed to be applied as it comes and is not intended to be stretched. Measure your gap first, as the seal is made for 3 to 5mm gaps only.Specifications Brand Raven Product RP48 Self Adhesive Door and Window Weather Strip Model number R48W Pack 5m coil pack (2 x 2.5m) Colour White Material Soft EPDM rubber Gap size 3 to 5mm Fixing Self-adhesive Weather resistant Yes Use Doors and windows, interior and exterior Care and storageKeep the strip in its pack in a cool, dry place until you are ready to use it. In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Ozito Trigger-Flow Hot Glue Gun 10 W is a reliable compact hot melt glue gun for quick bonding and model making chosen for home repairs, trade work, and craft builds when you want a bond you can trust. Designed for Australian conditions, it balances strength, ease of use, and clean application so you can get professional results without special tools. The 10 W pack is ideal for general work and keeps neatly in a toolbox or caddy. Why choose Ozito Trigger-Flow for your next project Everyday jobs often involve mixed materials and imperfect surfaces. Ozito Trigger-Flow Hot Glue Gun 10 W has been formulated to wet out well, grab quickly, and cure to a tough finish that resists movement and contact stress. It maintains bond integrity across common temperature swings and has dependable resistance to moisture and most household chemicals. Whether you are fixing, building, sealing, or assembling, this product gives you confidence from first squeeze through final set. Best for Cardboard displays and craft Light repairs and cable dressing Attaching trims, felt, and fabric accents Suitable surfaces The adhesive works well on the following surface types when properly prepared: Card, paper, fabric Wood trim and plastics that tolerate hot melt Ceramic ornaments Surface preparation Good preparation is the key to a long lasting repair. Remove loose material, dust, and grease. Wipe glossy areas with methylated spirits or an approved cleaner and allow to dry. On very smooth plastics and metals, lightly roughen with fine abrasive paper to give the adhesive a mechanical key. Dry fit parts first and mark alignment points so you can assemble accurately within the open time. If bonding porous materials, ensure both faces are dry and free of surface chalking. How to use Check fit and plan clamping. Do a trial run without adhesive so you know the order of steps. Apply a thin, continuous bead to one surface. For wide pieces, use a zig zag pattern to maximise wetting. Bring surfaces together within the stated open time of open time is short, assemble parts promptly after application. Reseat once if needed, then hold steady. Apply even pressure using clamps, tape, weights, or temporary fasteners. Avoid squeezing all adhesive out of the joint. Allow to cure undisturbed. Initial handling strength will develop as the adhesive sets, with a full cure reached based on the chemistry described below. Cure profile Hot melt sets as it cools, giving fast handling strength. Full strength is reached once the bead has cooled through. Temperature and environmental performance Operate in a dry area. Avoid use on heat sensitive foams that may melt. Avoid application to very cold, sweating, or waterlogged surfaces. For outdoor use protect fresh bonds from rain until the skin has formed and the core has progressed in cure. Once fully cured, the bond resists normal weathering, splash water, and intermittent UV exposure based on the substrate and paint systems used. Clean up and finishing Peel away stray strands after cooling. Protect worktops with a mat. When cured, excess can be carefully trimmed or sanded. For painted finishes, allow the adhesive to fully cure before priming. Test paint on a small area to confirm compatibility and drying behaviour. Coverage guide Coverage varies with bead size, surface porosity, and technique. As a general guide, a 3 mm bead yields approximately 10 to 12 linear meters per 310 mL cartridge. Smaller packs scale proportionally. Gaps, rough edges, and highly absorbent materials will reduce coverage. Plan an extra margin for offcuts and practice passes. Tips for best results Work within the recommended open time so the adhesive can properly wet the surfaces. Use light clamping pressure to keep parts aligned while maintaining a film thickness for strength. For very porous substrates, apply a thin precoat as a primer layer and allow it to tack before final assembly. Keep joint lines clean by masking edges with painter tape and removing it before the adhesive skins. Where movement or vibration is expected, design the joint to share load across a large area. Troubleshooting Poor adhesion: Check for oil, release agents, or surface dust. Reclean and lightly abrade if necessary. Slow cure: Low temperature and low humidity extend cure time. Maintain moderate conditions for best results. Visible squeeze out: Wipe fresh material with a suitable solvent and a soft cloth. Once cured, trim carefully. Bond line prints through paint: Allow a full cure, then prime and apply thin coats of paint, allowing proper drying between coats. Storage and shelf life Unplug and allow to cool before storage. Keep glue sticks sealed from dust. Always check the pack for a lot code and use by guidance. Reseal immediately after use and store upright. Dispose of empty containers responsibly. Safety Read the label before use. Wear gloves when handling uncured material. Provide ventilation in enclosed areas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets. If sensitivity occurs, stop use and seek advice. Do not ingest. First aid directions and detailed handling information are available on the package and the safety data sheet. Frequently asked questions Can I bond dissimilar materials? Yes, provided each surface is clean and sound. Differences in expansion are managed by the adhesive film thickness and the inherent flexibility after cure. Is clamping required? Light clamping improves alignment and final strength. Excessive pressure can starve the joint of adhesive which reduces performance. Is the bond water resistant? Once cured the bond resists splash water and routine humidity. For permanent immersion choose an adhesive designed for underwater service and follow the manufacturer guidance. Planning your job Measure twice and cut once. Dry assemble parts so you can confirm squareness and alignment before adhesive is involved. Keep rags, clamps, and spacers ready. If you are new to the product, test on offcuts to get a feel for bead size and squeeze out. A consistent 1 to 2 mm bond line is a good starting point for most rigid materials. Thicker lines help when surfaces are uneven. Avoid starving the joint by pressing too hard without giving the adhesive a place to reside. Responsible use Choose an adhesive that suits the materials and the environment the finished piece will face. If a joint will be submerged, carry structural loads, or be exposed to strong chemicals, check the technical data sheet for specific guidance. Many general purpose products are perfect for day to day work, while specialised tasks call for a system designed and tested for that environment. Using the right product first saves time, money, and rework. Aftercare and maintenance Adhesive joints are remarkably strong when used correctly. Design repairs so that routine loads are shared across a generous area. Where heavy vibration is present, pair the adhesive bond with appropriate mechanical fasteners. Keep cleaning chemicals mild, and avoid abrasive pads on visible joints. If a bond will be repainted, choose flexible paint where movement is expected, and keep edges sealed to prevent dirt tracking along the bond line. Recycling and disposal Allow empty containers to cure before disposal. Check local council guidance for recycling of plastics and metal cartridges. Never pour uncured product into drains or soil. Wipe tools on scrap material and let residue harden before placing in general waste. Smart handling keeps the workspace clean and reduces environmental impact.

Tommy Tape® Self-Fusing Silicone Tape The next generation of tape is here — premium, adhesive-free repair and sealing tape for fast fixes at home, on the job, and on the road. Tommy Tape self-fusing silicone tape saves time and money across plumbing, electrical, automotive, marine, garden, and industrial jobs. Unlike vinyl or cloth tapes, it uses no adhesive. Instead, it chemically bonds (self-fuses) to itself on contact to form a tough, flexible, and permanently water-tight wrap — even underwater. Why you’ll love it Extreme temperature range: operates from −65 °F to +500 °F (approx. −54 °C to +260 °C). Electrical safety: insulates up to 8,000 V per layer (typical PVC electrical tape ≈ 600 V). Leaves no residue: no adhesive means no sticky mess when removed. Weather- & waterproof: seals within seconds; ideal for outdoor and marine use. Flexible & form-fitting: stretches over 300% to wrap irregular shapes, fittings, and bends. Built to last: resists UV, oil, salt, and common chemicals; helps combat corrosion. Popular uses Plumbing: emergency seals on copper, PVC, and garden hoses; patch vacuum and pool hoses. Electrical: bundling and insulating leads, wire harnesses, extension-cord strain relief (power off first). Automotive & 4×4: wrap frayed looms, protect hoses, create quick roadside fixes. Marine: mast boot wraps, deck-side waterproofing, salt-spray protection. Tools & grips: re-grip shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, gym dumbbells, walking canes. Sports & DIY: re-grip golf clubs, tennis/pickleball paddles; improve wheelchair and shower-chair grip. Home & garden: weatherproof outdoor cables, protect back-yard gear and appliances. Industrial: protective wraps on fittings, temporary containment where adhesives aren’t suitable. How to apply (best results) Prep: Turn power/water off where applicable. Clean and dry the area if possible. Start & anchor: Peel off the liner, stretch the tape as you begin to wrap, and press the starting end onto itself to anchor. Stretch & overlap: Stretch to at least 2× its length (more stretch = stronger fuse). Overlap each wrap by ½ width. Build layers: Add additional layers for higher pressure, stronger seals, or increased dielectric protection. Finish: End the wrap on itself and press firmly. Full fusion develops quickly; handle with care while it sets. Remove: Cut off (do not unwind) when it’s time to replace — it leaves no residue. Specifications Material Silicone rubber (self-fusing) Adhesive None (bonds to itself on contact) Dielectric Strength Up to 8,000 V per layer (build layers for higher insulation) Temperature Range −65 °F to +500 °F (approx. −54 °C to +260 °C) Resistance UV, oil, salt, weather, and common household/automotive chemicals Water Performance Weatherproof & waterproof; can be applied underwater in many scenarios Elongation Stretches over 300% for tight, conformal wraps Removal Cut off to remove; no sticky residue Colours / Sizes Varies by SKU (see options above) Better than traditional tapes Feature Tommy Tape Self-Fusing Silicone Vinyl / Cloth Electrical Tape Adhesive No adhesive (self-fuses) Pressure-sensitive adhesive (leaves residue) Waterproof Seal Yes — seals in seconds; can be used underwater Limited; adhesive can lift when wet Dielectric Strength Up to 8,000 V per layer Typically ~600 V Temperature Range −54 °C to +260 °C Narrower range; softens or becomes brittle UV/Chemical Resistance Excellent (UV, oil, salt, chemicals) Moderate; can degrade outdoors Residue on Removal None — clean cut-off Commonly leaves sticky residue FAQs Can I use it on live electrical circuits? No. Always switch power off before wrapping. Build sufficient layers for the required insulation, and follow local electrical standards. Will it stick to wet or oily surfaces? Because it bonds to itself (not the substrate), it can often be applied in damp or even underwater situations. For best results, clean and dry the area first. Is it reusable? Once fused, it forms a single mass. Cut it off to remove; it won’t unwind. Apply a fresh wrap if needed. What isn’t it for? Not a substitute for permanent structural repairs. Avoid use on fuel lines or high-pressure systems without proper engineering sign-off. Notes: Performance values are typical and depend on application method, substrate, and number of layers. Always test on a small area first. Follow safety guidelines for electrical and pressurised systems.

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

The Sutton Tools INOX Metric Jobber Drill Set is a 19 piece index set built for drilling stainless steel, covering 1.0 mm to 10.0 mm in 0.5 mm steps. It suits fabricators, maintenance workers and serious DIYers who want one organised set that handles the tough, work-hardening nature of stainless.About the productThese jobber length drills are made from M2 high speed steel (HSS), which balances strength with heat and wear resistance. Each bit has a fast spiral and a short flute for rigidity and good swarf control. The point and stepped core are shaped for clean penetration and to limit work hardening, and a Futura Nano PVD coated tip adds wear resistance. Sutton Tools states that the INOX design achieves around 70% more life in stainless steel than standard drill bits.Where to use itIndoors: workshop and maintenance drilling in stainless steel and other metal, including benchtop fabrication, fittings and brackets.Outdoors: on-site work such as drilling stainless handrails, marine style hardware and fixtures, or trade van jobs. How to use itThe set includes: 19 INOX jobber drill bits in 0.5 mm steps from 1.0 mm to 10.0 mm A compact index case that keeps every size in order Secure the workpiece and centre punch the hole position. Use a cutting or tapping fluid, run the drill at a modest speed and keep a firm, steady feed so the bit keeps cutting rather than rubbing, which causes stainless to work harden. For larger holes, step up through the sizes starting with a smaller pilot hole. Clear swarf regularly and let the bit cool if it gets hot.Important notesDesigned mainly for stainless steel and suited to general metal drilling. Use in a drill driver or drill press with a suitable chuck, and avoid side loading or forcing the bit. Return each bit to its slot after use so the set stays complete.Specifications Brand Sutton Tools Product INOX Metric Jobber Drill Set (D180SM2) Pack 19 piece set Size range 1.0 mm to 10.0 mm in 0.5 mm steps Material M2 High Speed Steel (HSS) Coating TiAlN, Futura Nano PVD coated tip Helix angle R40 Point tolerance h8 Standard DIN 338 Storage Index case Best suited to Stainless steel Care and storageWear safety glasses when drilling and keep hair and loose clothing clear of the rotating drill. The Sutton Tools Viper Cobalt Drill Set packs 19 general purpose cobalt drill bits into one case, for tradies and keen DIYers who drill a mix of metals, timber and plastics. The 5% cobalt content is aimed at standing up to heat and wear, and Sutton Tools rates the bits at up to twice the tool life of its standard Viper drills.About the productThese are jobber-style twist drills with a 118° split point that helps the bit start where you want it, with less wandering on the first contact. The cobalt content gives better heat and wear resistance than a plain high speed steel bit, which suits repeated drilling in harder materials. They work in a drill press or machine setup as well as in a hand-held drill.Where to use itIndoors: workshop and garage jobs, fabrication, furniture and cabinetry, and general repairs around the house.Outdoors: site work, fencing and framing hardware, trailers, vehicles and general maintenance.Suitable materials include steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, timber and plastics. How to use it Pick the bit size that suits the hole you need and fit it firmly in the chuck. Mark the spot, then start slowly so the split point can locate itself before you increase speed. Use steady, even pressure and let the bit do the cutting. Back off the speed in harder metals, and clear swarf from the hole as you go. Use cutting fluid when drilling metal to help keep the bit cool. Return each bit to its slot in the case after use so the set stays organised. Important notesThis is a general purpose set. It is not designed for masonry, concrete or tile, so use a purpose-made masonry or glass and tile bit for those. Always secure the workpiece before drilling. Sutton Tools Sutton Tools TCT Multi-Purpose Plumber Holesaw Set 19-111mm (12 Piece)

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

The Sutton Tools TCT Multi-Purpose Plumber Holesaw Set is a 12 piece kit built around tungsten carbide tipped holesaws, covering the sizes plumbers and installers reach for most, from 19mm up to 111mm. It suits trade and DIY work, and it saves you swapping between separate saws for timber, sheet materials, plastics and tiles.About the productEach holesaw has tungsten carbide tipped (TCT) teeth, designed for strong cutting performance and long wear with minimal heat build-up. Sutton Tools states that these teeth cut timber up to five times faster than conventional bi-metal holesaws. The saws cut to a depth of up to 54mm, and deep cut-outs in the body help the core come free quickly. The set comes with a quick-release arbor, so you can change holesaw sizes fast and eject the core in about a second. Two pilot bits and a plastic storage case are included.Where to use itIndoors: pipe and fitting penetrations through timber framing, wall linings, cabinetry, benchtops and tiled walls or floors.Outdoors: openings in fibre cement and cement sheet cladding, decking and timber structures for pipework and installations.Suitable materials include timber, hardwood, softwood, MDF, plasterboard, compressed fibre cement sheet, cement sheet, plastics, ceramic tiles and other abrasive materials. How to use it Fit the holesaw to the quick-release arbor and secure the arbor in your drill chuck. Use a pilot bit to start the hole accurately, and clamp or hold the workpiece firmly. Cut with steady pressure and let the teeth do the work. Pull back occasionally to clear dust and swarf. Use the quick-release action to eject the core, then swap to another size when needed. Important notesThe cutting depth is up to 54mm, so deeper material needs to be cut from both sides. These holesaws are designed for the materials listed above. The set is not intended for cutting sheet metal or steel. Check that your drill suits the arbor and the size of saw you are using. Mid-size holesaws are listed as 51mm and 64mm in some Sutton Tools catalogue material and as 57mm and 70mm in other places, so check the pack when you receive it if you need a specific size.Specifications Brand Sutton Tools Product TCT Multi-Purpose Plumber Holesaw Set Model number H127MP7 Pack 12 piece set (9 holesaws, quick-release arbor, 2 pilot bits) Size range 19mm to 111mm Cutting teeth Tungsten carbide tipped (TCT) Cutting depth Up to 54mm Arbor H122-Series quick-release arbor Storage Plastic storage case Use Trade and DIY Care and storageWear safety glasses and hearing protection when drilling, and keep hands clear of the rotating saw. Sutton Tools Sutton Tools TCT Multi-Purpose Carpenter Holesaw Set 19-102mm (8 Piece)

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

The Sutton Tools H127 Carpenter Set is an eight-piece tungsten carbide tipped holesaw kit built for builders, installers and keen DIYers who need a good spread of sizes in one case. It covers everything from small cable and dowel holes through to large pipe and fitting holes, and the carbide teeth are designed to stay sharp and run cooler than conventional bi-metal holesaws.About the productEach holesaw has tungsten carbide tipped (TCT) teeth for strong cutting performance, long wear life and minimal heat build up. Sutton Tools states that the teeth cut timber up to five times faster than conventional bi-metal holesaws. Deep cut-outs in the saw body help the plug of waste material (the core) release quickly. The quick-release arbor lets you change saw sizes fast and also helps push the core out, so you spend more time cutting and less time swapping and clearing. The International Thread Pattern means the saws also fit standard arbors. What is included 8 x TCT multi-purpose holesaws: 19mm, 22mm, 25mm, 32mm, 38mm, 54mm, 92mm and 102mm 1 x H122-Series quick-change arbor 2 x TCT pilot drill bits 1 x plastic storage case Where to use itIndoors: fitting door hardware and locks, running cables and pipework through frames and joinery, cutting holes in cabinets, shelving and panelling, and downlight or vent openings in plasterboard.Outdoors: decking, fencing, framing and sheeting work where you need clean holes for fixings, conduit or pipes.Suited to cutting timber, hardwood, softwood, MDF, plasterboard, compressed fibre cement sheet, cement sheet, plastics, ceramic tiles and other abrasive materials, to a cutting depth of 54mm.How to use itFit the saw you need to the quick-release arbor, then install the arbor in your drill chuck with a pilot bit centred. Clamp or secure the workpiece, mark the centre of the hole and start at a moderate speed so the teeth bite cleanly. Let the saw do the work rather than forcing it, and back out now and then to clear dust and swarf on deeper cuts. When the cut is through, use the quick-release arbor to free the core and swap to the next size.Important notesMatch drill speed to the material, with slower speeds for harder or more abrasive materials such as tile and fibre cement. Cutting depth is up to 54mm, so very thick material will need to be cut from both sides. Use a drill with enough torque for the larger 92mm and 102mm saws, and hold it firmly with both hands.Specifications Brand Sutton Tools Product H127-Series TCT Multi-Purpose Carpenter Holesaw Set Model H127MP6 Pack 8 holesaws, arbor, 2 pilot bits and case Holesaw sizes 19, 22, 25, 32, 38, 54, 92 and 102mm Teeth Tungsten carbide tipped (TCT) Cutting depth 54mm Arbor H122-Series quick-release Thread International Thread Pattern, fits standard arbors Use Trade, construction, installation and DIY Care and storageWear safety glasses and hearing protection, and a dust mask when cutting plasterboard, fibre cement or tile. The Sutton Tools Viper Cobalt Starter Holesaw Set is a 7-piece bi-metal kit covering hole sizes from 20mm to 54mm, put together for tradies, maintenance crews and keen DIYers who want a practical base set in one case. It suits both hand and machine drilling and is built to cut through steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, plastic and wood.About the productThe cutting edge is made from bi-metal cobalt high speed steel (HSS), a combination chosen for toughness and a longer working life. The teeth are varied in pitch, which helps reduce vibration while cutting, giving a cleaner finish and better accuracy. Cutting depth is 32mm. The set has been updated with new components based on customer demand and comes in a sturdier, space-saving case that is easy to keep in the toolbox or van.Where to use itIndoors: cutting holes for cable and conduit runs, pipe and fitting cut-outs, and general maintenance and fit-out work in metal, plastic and timber.Outdoors: site and workshop jobs where you need round openings in steel sections, sheet metal, plastic or timber.Suitable materials include mild and stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, plastic and timber. How to use it Fit the holesaw to a suitable arbor and pilot drill, then secure the workpiece so it cannot spin or shift. Start at a moderate speed, let the pilot drill locate, then apply steady, even pressure and let the teeth do the cutting. When cutting metal, apply cutting fluid. Sutton Tools recommends its Venom Lubricating Fluid to help extend the life of the tool. Back the saw out regularly to clear swarf and keep the teeth cool, then remove the core once the hole is through. Important notesSlow the speed down for harder materials such as stainless steel and cast iron, and keep the saw cool for the best tooth life. This is a bi-metal set for metal, plastic and timber work, and is not intended for masonry, tile or concrete. Please check the arbor and pilot drill requirements for your drill before use.Specifications Brand Sutton Tools Product Viper Cobalt Bi-Metal Starter Holesaw Set Model number H130S070540 Pack 7 piece set Size range 20mm to 54mm Material Bi-metal cobalt HSS Cutting depth 32mm Tooth design Varied pitch Case size (approx.) 260mm W x 77mm H x 158mm D Use Machine or hand drilling Care and storageWear safety glasses and gloves when drilling, and keep hair and loose clothing clear of the rotating tool. Metal cores and swarf can be hot and sharp, so let them cool before handling. Clean off debris after use, keep the teeth dry and return the saws to the case so they stay protected. The DeWalt 120pc Screwdriver Bit Set packs a wide mix of driver bits, a few drill bits, nut setters and a magnetic holder into one connectable ToughCase, so most everyday fastening jobs are covered from a single case. It suits tradies and home DIYers who want one organised set instead of loose bits scattered through the toolbox.About the productThe bits are part of DeWalt's Max Fit range, which is made to work with the DeWalt power tool system. Each tip is precision machined to sit snugly in the screw head recess, which helps cut down on stripped screws. The ToughCase storage system lets you link other compatible DeWalt sets to it, building a tidy, site-ready storage stack. What is in the set 25mm bits: Pozidriv (POS7), Phillips (PH1, PH2, PH3), slotted (SL8), square (SQ1, SQ2), Torx (T20, T25), security Torx (T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30, T40) and hex bits (1/16", 5/64", 3/32", 7/64", 1/8", 3/16", 1/4") 51mm bits: PH1, PH2, PH3, SQ1, SQ2, T20, T25, SL6, SL8, POS5, POS7 89mm bits: PH1, PH2, SL8, T25 152mm bits: PH2, T25 Black and gold HSS drill bits: 3/32", 1/8", 5/32", 3/16", 1/4" Nut setters: 1/4" and 5/16" 1 x compact magnetic bit holder 3/8" socket adapter ToughCase storage case How to use itPick the bit that matches the screw head, push it fully into the chuck or magnetic bit holder of your drill or driver, and apply firm, straight pressure while driving. Use the longer bits for recessed fasteners and the shorter ones for general work. The socket adapter and nut setters let you drive hex-head fasteners, and the drill bits handle pilot holes. Return each bit to its slot in the case after use so the set stays complete.Important notesMatch the bit type and size to the fastener, and keep the bit square to the screw to avoid damaging the head or the tip. Check the tool and fastener ratings before using the bits with high-torque tools. Contents are listed by bit type and length, so check the pack for the exact layout.Specifications Brand DeWalt Product 120pc Screwdriver Bit Set Model number DWAF120PCSET Pack 120 piece set Case Included (ToughCase storage system) Bit lengths 25mm, 51mm, 89mm, 152mm Drill bits Black and gold HSS, 3/32" to 1/4" Approx. product size 430 x 230 x 60 mm Care and storageKeep the bits in their case slots when not in use and store the case in a dry place to help prevent rust. Diablo 32mm Universal Fit Bi-Metal Multi-Tool Blades are made for clean, fast plunge and flush cuts in timber, supplied here as a handy pack of three. They suit most oscillating multi-tools without an adapter, so one set covers a wide range of brands.About the productThese bi-metal blades are built specifically for clean wood, meaning timber without embedded nails or screws. The cutting edge is ultra-hardened, and Diablo says it lasts up to 5 times longer than standard blades. A curved contact edge helps the blade locate for precise plunge cuts with less vibration. The Japanese-style tooth pattern is designed for quick, tidy cutting. Black I.C.E. (Industrial Cooling Element) coated teeth help manage heat and clear chips so the teeth stay free of build-up.Where to use itIndoors: trimming door jambs and architraves, flush-cutting timber, notching and making plunge cuts in timber panels and framing.Outdoors: cutting decking boards, fence timber and other garden woodwork.Suitable for clean timber. For wood that may contain nails or screws, or for metal, choose a blade made for that job.How to use it Check that your oscillating multi-tool takes universal fit blades (not Starlock), then fit the blade following your tool's instructions. Secure the workpiece and mark your cut line. Start the tool before the blade touches the timber, then let the blade do the work with light, steady pressure. Use the curved contact edge to start plunge cuts accurately. Switch off and let the tool stop completely before removing or changing the blade. Important notesThis is a universal fit blade and is not compatible with Starlock tools. It is designed to work with cordless and corded oscillating multi-tools from brands such as Bosch, Craftsman, Dewalt, Dremel, Fein, Hart, Makita, Milwaukee, Porter-Cable, Ridgid and Rockwell. Check your tool's blade fitting before ordering if you are unsure. Hitting nails or screws will quickly dull or damage a bi-metal blade.Specifications Brand Diablo Product Universal Fit Bi-Metal Multi-Tool Blades for Clean Wood Model number 2610068593 Pack 3 blades Blade width 32mm Blade type Bi-metal Tooth design Japanese tooth Coating Black I.C.E. Interface Universal fit, adapter-free (not Starlock) Application Clean wood Care and storageWear safety glasses and a dust mask when cutting, and keep hands clear of the blade. Blades can be hot straight after use, so let them cool before handling. Keep out of reach of children and store the blades in their pack in a dry place to protect the cutting edge.
