Description
Bear General Purpose Cloth Tape is a versatile, hand-tearable white cloth tape in a compact 4.5m roll, handy for quick temporary repairs around the house, garage or workshop. It pairs a strong, flexible cloth backing with a high-strength adhesive, so it grips well and still bends around awkward shapes.
About the tape
The cloth backing gives the tape strength and flexibility. It tears cleanly by hand, so you don't need scissors or a knife for most jobs. It also follows irregular surfaces rather than lifting away from them. The adhesive is designed to grip most clean, dry surfaces.
Where to use it
Indoors: temporary fixes, bundling and binding items, reinforcing cartons and packaging, and general household repairs.
Outdoors: short-term repairs and securing items around the yard, shed or garage.
Suitable for a wide range of clean, dry surfaces. For a critical or long-term job, test the tape on a small, hidden area first.
How to use it
Wipe the surface to remove dust, grease and moisture, and let it dry fully. Unroll the length you need and tear it by hand. Press it down firmly along its full length, smoothing out any air bubbles so the adhesive makes good contact.
Important notes
This tape is intended for temporary repairs rather than permanent structural fixes. Adhesion is best on clean, dry surfaces, and may be reduced on dusty, oily, damp or crumbly surfaces. Test on delicate or painted finishes first, as the adhesive may mark or lift some coatings when removed.
