Fresh hardwood often carries high moisture and, left bare, can cup, split, crack or bleed tannins as it dries out. Woodguard soaks into the boards and stabilises them while they acclimatise, so the timber arrives at oiling day in sound, even condition. It is made in Australia by Prep Productions and formulated for harsh Australian and New Zealand exposure.Formula overviewA natural-oil blend built around tung oil and beeswax, carried by dipentene, a citrus-derived solvent.
