Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before product hardens. Handy tips Ensure the putty and hardener are mixed properly. Knead-It will become warm as it is mixed, A good indication its mixed properly is when you have a uniform colour and feel a mild heat radiating from the knead-it. To help determine when your knead it has set, keep a small piece off to check- when it is hard, it indicates your job is done. Use Knead-It Aqua for applications in wet/ submerged areas. Use Knead-It Steel for applications on metal or fuel contact For cleaning surfaces prior to application of adhesive, if the surface is porous, we would recommend using SELLEYS Liquid Sugar Soap. If the surface is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with mineral turpentine and then again with methylated spirits. If there is old, difficult to remove residue such as old paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as SELLEYS Kwik Strip Smart. Ensure the surface is dry before applying the product Keep a canister of SELLEYS Sugar Soap Wipes nearby for a quick and effective cleanup Safety tips Where possible wear protective gloves when using Knead-It Multi-Purpose. Contact with skin may result in irritation. Epoxy resin is a known skin sensitiser. Repeated or prolonged skin contact may lead to allergic contact dermatitis. If redness or swelling of the skin occurs, wash thoroughly with soap and water. Seek medical attention if in any doubt. Mixed and cured material is not hazardous. Cured material can only be removed by cutting and abrasion. If cured on the skin, it will peel off in a few days without assistance. Soaking in warm water will assist removal. Storage and re-use Replace silver disc to seal ends and keep in a cool dry place.

A toolbox must. Great on copper and iron. Here are just a few specific uses (there are hundreds of other uses): Seal cracked steam or hot water radiator Stop leaking steam fittings Fill hole in heat exchanger Attach thermocouple to hot surface Seal chimney ductwork How to prepare a surface for bonding with PC-Fahrenheit™ Remove contaminants such as dust, dirt, oil and grime with a solvent such as denatured alcohol (ethanol), acetone, rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or lacquer thinner. A mild detergent solution in water is also good removing contaminants. Use a clean paper towel or rag for wiping. Remove rust and loose paint with sandpaper or wire brush. Epoxy typically sticks to most paints. If there is a concern of the paint’s adhesion then remove it with sandpaper, wire brush or paint stripper. Smooth, glossy and shiny surfaces should be roughened using sandpaper to increase adhesion. Adhesion to wet or damp surfaces can be improved by wiping with alcohol. Do not use mineral spirits or paint thinner for removing contaminants. How to clean-up after PC-Fahrenheit™ application We recommend wearing disposable gloves when mixing and applying epoxy putty. Remove from skin with soap and warm water. Clean up mixed epoxy before it cures with paper towels and solvent. Denatured alcohol (ethanol), acetone, rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or lacquer thinner are suitable solvents for removing uncured epoxy. Cured epoxy can be physically removed by prying off with a screwdriver or pliers. It can also be removed with paint stripper or remover. Can PC-Fahrenheit™ repair a leaking steam radiator? PC-Fahrenheit™ resists higher temperatures and is suitable for repairing steam pipes and radiators. Can PC-Fahrenheit™ be used in a fireplace or wood burning stove? PC-Fahrenheit™ will withstand temperatures up to 260°C. A fireplace or wood burning stove creates temperatures exceeding 260°C. Can PC-Fahrenheit™ be used to seal heater chimney duct? PC-Fahrenheit™ is excellent for use on sheet metal and the temperature is within an acceptable range. Can PC-Fahrenheit™ seal a rust hole in barbecue grill? PC-Fahrenheit™ can be used on the barbecue grill exterior but is not recommended for the interior. How long should PC-Fahrenheit™ be mixed before applying? Mix PC-Fahrenheit™ for 45 to 60 seconds then immediately apply. What is the temperature limit? PC-Fahrenheit is not intended to exceed 260°C. -  Will PC-Fahrenheit™ burn? PC-Fahrenheit™ is not flame resistant and may burn if exposed to direct flame. Does PC-Fahrenheit™ stick to car radiator? Car radiators are made of various metals and plastic composites. Test for adhesion and test for leaks.

If uncertain, apply masking tape to test adhesion. If masking tape sticks to the surface, it's OK to proceed.) Movement joints must have a minimum width and depth of 5mm. Apply a bond-breaker tape, or backing rod to the base of the joint to prevent 3-sided adhesion. To keep the work clean, apply masking tape to the top edge of the joint on each face. Cut the nozzle to the required width and gun sealant into the joint. Avoid voids or air entrapment in the joint when applying. Before the sealant has skinned, tool off with an appropriate spatula to give a smooth finish. Remove the masking tape and clean up immediately.

Sika’s new i-Cure technology is user and eco-friendly, with no solvents and a low environmental impact, while maintaining the performance of traditional polyurethane. It is suitable for overpainting with traditional paint coatings. The i-Cure® technology has an early initial set and overcomes bubbling in the sealant while curing, even in extreme conditions. Sikaflex® Pro+ is a high-performance, interior and exterior elastic joint sealant with excellent water, weather, and ageing resistance. It has many uses, including: Expansion joints in walls and cladding Sealing around doors and window frames Sealing penetrations in walls and floors for pipes Sealing joints in concrete and masonry elements Sealant for draught-proofing and general sealing and filling applications Pro+ can be used on a multitude of applications and common building substrates. It has good adhesion to damp substrates. To name a few, Pro+ can be used on: Aluminium Steel Powder-coated metals or glazed tiles Concrete, aerated concrete, cement-based renders, mortars, and bricks Application of Sikaflex® Pro+ Ensure all surfaces are structurally sound, clean, dry, and free from any grease, etc. (The surface can be damp but not wet.

High-Grade Neutral Cure Silicone A high-grade neutral (non-corrosive) cure silicone formulated for superior adhesion to cement (e.g., grout). The product also contains a fungicidal protector for excellent mould and fungal resistance. Features Superior adhesion to mortar, grout, and metals. As the product does not lift at the edges and adheres so well to cement and grout, dirt, mould, and fungus will not become trapped, preventing unsightly black mould spots. Superior silicone formulation forms a durable seal that locks out water and does not shrink when drying. Built-in fungicide to inhibit the growth of mould. Available in a range of colours to suit most wet areas. Non-corrosive neutral cure formula. Low odour, so can be used in any environment without discomfort. Easy to clean once applied, as it resists moisture, hot cooking oils, and steam. Superior flexibility with +/- 25% movement capability and up to 400% elongation or stretch. Temperature resistance: approximately -60°C to +150°C. 25-year guarantee – when used as directed, i.e., for private use and within 12 months of purchase, the product is guaranteed against crumbling, cracking, or drying. Where can this product be used? Showers and sinks Metal, copper, and brass fittings Perfect for use on or around: Showers Baths Spas Sinks Plumbing Fixtures Can not be painted over. Not suitable for building materials that bleed oils or solvents, such as impregnated wood. Not for use on polyethylene, polypropylene, or Teflon. Pre-test plastics before use. What materials is this product suitable for? Ceramic, glazed & porcelain fixtures Metal, copper, and brass fittings Plastic laminates Rubber Glass Stainless steel Concrete and grouts Many plastics including polystyrene How to use this product Thoroughly clean and dry the surface from oil, dirt, and grease with Mineral Turpentine first and then Methylated Spirits. Allow to dry completely before applying silicone. If there is old silicone that needs to be removed, we recommend using SELLEYS SILICONE REMOVER. This ingenious product makes removing old silicone easy. We also recommend sanding the surface back with a good quality sanding block, such as a ROTA COTA Sanding Block Medium/Course Grain, as the silicone will adhere more readily to a scratched-up surface. Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up. Cut the seal at the top of the cartridge and cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, to the size of the gap opening. Fit the nozzle to the top of the cartridge. Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun such as the SELLEYS LIGHT SPEED Caulking Gun. We recommend this caulking gun, as its new innovative pressure release design reduces the mess from run-on and stress on your hands, which is critical if you are doing a lot of sealing. Hold the caulking gun at a 45° angle. Press the nozzle opening against the joint, apply steady pressure to the caulking gun, and extrude the silicone sealant. Move in a pushing motion along the joint in one smooth action. For a smooth finish, smooth with a finger dipped in mineral turpentine or, for a professional finish, use a paint scraper such as a 50mm ROTA COTA Soft Grip Scraper dipped in mineral turpentine. Excess sealant must be cleaned up before it skins in 5-10 minutes. Wipe excess away with a cloth dampened in mineral turpentine or use a SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipe. Remove tape before the sealant skins. Clean tools immediately with mineral turpentine. Avoid smearing on surrounding surfaces. The sealant will cure fully in 72 hours. At this point, any unwanted sealant can be removed by trimming with a sharp blade, but avoid undercutting the seal. Handy Tips Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product for a neat finish and easy cleanup. When first applying, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of silicone sealant. Remove the tape before the silicone sealant skins. For a better finish, complete painting prior to using the sealant as it cannot be painted over. Use a spatula dipped in mineral turpentine or detergent and water to tool off the sealant for a better finish. Work in sections that can be completed before the sealant skins. Tooling off and tape removal must be completed before skinning occurs for a better finish. Keep a pack of SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipes handy to wipe up spills and clean any material off the skin before it cures. Safety Tips Uncured product may irritate eyes. If in eyes, flood the eyes for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice. Avoid contact with skin. If contact occurs, wipe off immediately and wash with detergent. It may irritate sensitive skin. Avoid breathing in vapours. Ensure you use a well-ventilated area as the product releases methyl ethyl ketoxime while curing. For advice, contact a Poisons Information Centre (AUS 131 126; NZ 0800 764 766) or a doctor. For further detail on the safe use of this product, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet, which can be downloaded from this site. Keep away from children. Storage and Re-Use Store in cool dry conditions, below 30°C. The sealant should be used within 6 months after opening. After use, keep the nozzle on the cartridge. Silicone is a reactive product and cures once exposed to humidity. For longer storage periods, leave the nozzle on and place plasticene or Blu Tack over the end of the nozzle. Tightly tape a piece of aluminium foil over the whole nozzle to exclude any air. When re-using, simply remove the foil and plug from the old nozzle, pull out the excess silicone, and re-pierce the tip of the cartridge. If cure has occurred inside the cartridge, the product is no longer usable and should be discarded.

Tommy Tape® Self-Fusing Silicone Tape The next generation of tape is here — premium, adhesive-free repair and sealing tape for fast fixes at home, on the job, and on the road. Tommy Tape self-fusing silicone tape saves time and money across plumbing, electrical, automotive, marine, garden, and industrial jobs. Unlike vinyl or cloth tapes, it uses no adhesive. Instead, it chemically bonds (self-fuses) to itself on contact to form a tough, flexible, and permanently water-tight wrap — even underwater. Why you’ll love it Extreme temperature range: operates from −65 °F to +500 °F (approx. −54 °C to +260 °C). Electrical safety: insulates up to 8,000 V per layer (typical PVC electrical tape ≈ 600 V). Leaves no residue: no adhesive means no sticky mess when removed. Weather- & waterproof: seals within seconds; ideal for outdoor and marine use. Flexible & form-fitting: stretches over 300% to wrap irregular shapes, fittings, and bends. Built to last: resists UV, oil, salt, and common chemicals; helps combat corrosion. Popular uses Plumbing: emergency seals on copper, PVC, and garden hoses; patch vacuum and pool hoses. Electrical: bundling and insulating leads, wire harnesses, extension-cord strain relief (power off first). Automotive & 4×4: wrap frayed looms, protect hoses, create quick roadside fixes. Marine: mast boot wraps, deck-side waterproofing, salt-spray protection. Tools & grips: re-grip shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, gym dumbbells, walking canes. Sports & DIY: re-grip golf clubs, tennis/pickleball paddles; improve wheelchair and shower-chair grip. Home & garden: weatherproof outdoor cables, protect back-yard gear and appliances. Industrial: protective wraps on fittings, temporary containment where adhesives aren’t suitable. How to apply (best results) Prep: Turn power/water off where applicable. Clean and dry the area if possible. Start & anchor: Peel off the liner, stretch the tape as you begin to wrap, and press the starting end onto itself to anchor. Stretch & overlap: Stretch to at least 2× its length (more stretch = stronger fuse). Overlap each wrap by ½ width. Build layers: Add additional layers for higher pressure, stronger seals, or increased dielectric protection. Finish: End the wrap on itself and press firmly. Full fusion develops quickly; handle with care while it sets. Remove: Cut off (do not unwind) when it’s time to replace — it leaves no residue. Specifications Material Silicone rubber (self-fusing) Adhesive None (bonds to itself on contact) Dielectric Strength Up to 8,000 V per layer (build layers for higher insulation) Temperature Range −65 °F to +500 °F (approx. −54 °C to +260 °C) Resistance UV, oil, salt, weather, and common household/automotive chemicals Water Performance Weatherproof & waterproof; can be applied underwater in many scenarios Elongation Stretches over 300% for tight, conformal wraps Removal Cut off to remove; no sticky residue Colours / Sizes Varies by SKU (see options above) Better than traditional tapes Feature Tommy Tape Self-Fusing Silicone Vinyl / Cloth Electrical Tape Adhesive No adhesive (self-fuses) Pressure-sensitive adhesive (leaves residue) Waterproof Seal Yes — seals in seconds; can be used underwater Limited; adhesive can lift when wet Dielectric Strength Up to 8,000 V per layer Typically ~600 V Temperature Range −54 °C to +260 °C Narrower range; softens or becomes brittle UV/Chemical Resistance Excellent (UV, oil, salt, chemicals) Moderate; can degrade outdoors Residue on Removal None — clean cut-off Commonly leaves sticky residue FAQs Can I use it on live electrical circuits? No. Always switch power off before wrapping. Build sufficient layers for the required insulation, and follow local electrical standards. Will it stick to wet or oily surfaces? Because it bonds to itself (not the substrate), it can often be applied in damp or even underwater situations. For best results, clean and dry the area first. Is it reusable? Once fused, it forms a single mass. Cut it off to remove; it won’t unwind. Apply a fresh wrap if needed. What isn’t it for? Not a substitute for permanent structural repairs. Avoid use on fuel lines or high-pressure systems without proper engineering sign-off. Notes: Performance values are typical and depend on application method, substrate, and number of layers. Always test on a small area first. Follow safety guidelines for electrical and pressurised systems.

CHARACTERISTICS AND ADVANTAGES 100% crystal clear / transparent Good workability Low shrinkage during cure Flexible and elastic Can be used on damp concrete Very good adhesion on many typical building materials COLOUR: Transparent Product Data Appearance / Colours Transparent Packaging 300 g cartridge (290 ml), 12 cartridges per box Storage Conditions / Shelf-Life Sikaflex® Crystal Clear has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of production, if it is stored properly in undamaged, original, sealed packaging, and if the storage conditions are met. Technical Data Chemical Base Silane terminated polymer Density 1.05 kg/l approx. (ISO 1183-1) Tensile Strength 2.0 N/mm2 approx. (ISO 37) Shore A Hardness 30 approx. (after 28 days) (ISO 868) Elongation at Break 400% approx. (ISO 37) Elastic Recovery 70% approx. (ISO 7389) Tear Propagation Resistance 4.0 N/mm approx. (ISO 34) Service Temperature −40 °C to +70 °C SUBSTRATE PREPARATION The substrate must be clean, dry, sound and homogeneous, free from oils, grease, dust and loose or friable particles. Sikaflex® Crystal Clear adheres without primers and/or activators. However, for optimum adhesion and critical, high performance applications, such as on multi-story buildings, highly stressed joints, extreme weather exposure or water immersion, the following priming and/or pretreatment procedures shall be followed: Non-porous substrates Aluminium, anodised aluminium, stainless steel, PVC, galvanised steel, powder coated metals or glazed tiles have to be cleaned and pre-treated using Sika® Aktivator-205, wiped on with a clean towel. Before sealing, allow a flash-off time of > 15 minutes (< 6 hours). Other metals, such as copper, brass and titanium-zinc, also have to be cleaned and pre-treated using Sika® Aktivator-205,wiped on with a clean towel. After the necessary flash-off time, use a brush to apply Sika® Primer-3 N and allow a further flash-off time of > 30minutes (< 8 hours) before sealing the joints. Porous substrates Concrete, aerated concrete and cement based renders, mortars and bricks shall be primed using Sika® Primer-3 N applied with a brush. Before sealing, allow a flash-off time of > 30 minutes (< 8 hours). For more detailed advice and instructions please contact the local Sika Technical Services Department. Note: Primers are adhesion promoters. They are neither a substitute for the correct cleaning of a surface, nor do they improve the strength of the surface significantly. Bonding After substrate preparation, apply Sikaflex® Crystal Clear in beads, strips or spots to the bonding surface in intervals of a few centimetres each. Use hand pressure only to set the element to be bonded into position. If necessary, use SikaTack® Panel Tape during the initial hours of curing. An incorrectly positioned element can easily be unfastened and repositioned during the first few minutes after application. Apply pressure again. Optimum bonding will be obtained after the complete curing of Sikaflex® Crystal Clear. The recommended adhesive layer thickness (depending on surface evenness) is ≤3 mm. Fresh, uncured adhesive remaining on the surface must be removed immediately. Final strength will be obtained after complete curing of Sikaflex® Crystal Clear. Sealing After the necessary substrate preparation, insert a suitable backing rod to the required depth and apply any primer if necessary. Insert a cartridge into the sealant gun and extrude Sikaflex® Crystal Clear into the joint making sure that it comes into full contact with the sides of the joint and avoids any air entrapment. Sikaflex® Crystal Clear sealant must be firmly tooled against the joint sides to ensure adequate adhesion. It is recommended to use masking tape where exact joint lines or neat lines are required. Remove the tape within the skin time. Do not use tooling products containing solvents. Cleaning of Tools Clean all tools and application equipment immediately after use with Sika® Remover-208 and/or Sika® Wonder Wipes. Once cured, residual material can only be removed mechanically.
