PC-11® thrives in wet environments. It is resistant to water whether it is fresh or salt. Thick consistency like PC-7® and long open time (30 min). Work horizontal or vertical, indoor or outdoor. Wet, dry or under water. Whether you are working on an area where you just can’t remove water and moisture or you want the white colour for your repair, PC-11® is your choice. Choose PC-11® for ceramic repairs, pools and spas, fibreglass boats, tubs and sinks, stock tanks and thousands of other repairs. It has excellent adhesive properties bonding metals, fibreglass, wood, tile and some plastics such as ABS and rigid PVC. Ample open time allows tooling or positioning in order to tackle larger and challenging jobs. When mixed, the epoxy, part A (white) and the hardener part B (lt. blue) react to form a bond of tremendous strength and flexibility. The PC-11® formulation is slow curing, but slow can be a good thing especially for large tasks. WORKING TIME: 30 MINUTES CURE TIME: 24 HOURS (48 HOURS FOR FULL CURE) PC-11® is thick. Thick is good if you need to work vertically or want to hold an object in place. How thick? Not quite as thick as peanut butter. Here are just a few specific uses (there are hundreds of other uses): Reattach missing swimming pool tiles. Patch a hole in a fibreglass canoe or the fibreglass keel of a fishing boat. Repair cracked or damage swimming pool or hot tub skimmer. Waterproof and Seal cracked fibreglass. Seal screw holes to hatch lids or seating. Attach fish locators to transom. Repair stock tanks. Repair broken refrigerator door shelf fixtures. Repair broken pottery. Repair shower basin or antique bath tub. Seal leaking air conditioner drip pan. Seal underground conduit. How to prepare a surface for bonding with PC-11® Epoxy Paste Remove contaminants such as dust, dirt, oil, barnacles and grime with a solvent such as Denatured Alcohol, Acetone, Rubbing Alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or Lacquer Thinner. A mild detergent solution in water is also good removing contaminants. Use a clean paper towel or rag for wiping. Do not use Mineral Spirits or Paint Thinner for removing contaminants. For a wet or underwater surface; clean contaminants as best as you can. Solvents will not help you in this situation. Remove rust and loose paint with sandpaper or wire brush. Epoxy typically sticks to most paints. If there is a concern of the paint’s adhesion then remove it with sandpaper or wire brush. Smooth, glossy and shiny surfaces should be roughened using sandpaper to increase adhesion. How to clean-up after PC-11® Epoxy Paste application Use Denatured Alcohol, Acetone, Rubbing Alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or Lacquer Thinner to clean tools and mixing surface before PC-11® cures. Clean hands and skin with soap and water. Cured epoxy can be removed by applying Paint Remover or Paint Stripper to soften the epoxy surface. Scratch off the softened epoxy. Repeat as needed. Can PC-11® be used in Aquariums? There is the potential for PC-11® part A and part B to harm sea life but properly measured and mixed PC-11® has been used safely in fresh and saltwater aquariums. It is important that part A and B are thoroughly and completely mixed. What plastics does PC-11® stick to? PC-11® has good adhesion to Rigid PVC and CPVC, polyester and fiberglass, polyurethane, ABS and Bakelite. What plastics does PC-11® not stick to? PC-11® does not stick to polyethylene, polypropylene, HDPE, polystyrene, nylon, acrylic, Teflon, and polycarbonate. What rubbers does PC-11® stick to? PC-11® sticks to SBR, Buna, and polyurethane rubbers and does not stick to EPDM, vinyl and neoprene rubbers. What temperatures can PC-11® be applied? PC-11® cures very slowly at temperatures below 50°F (10°C). At or below freezing temperatures the PC-11® will stop curing. In hot conditions, above 95°F (35°C), PC-11® will cure rapidly reducing the working or application time. Can gel coat be applied to PC-11®? Gel coat will not cure properly in direct contact with PC-11®. It is important that repairs made with PC-11® be sealed with a suitable primer/sealer before applying a gel coat. Can PC-11® be painted? Yes. It is good practice to apply a premium stain sealing primer to repairs made with PC-11® prior to the finish coat. Will PC-11® yellow in direct sunlight? Yes, PC-11® yellows in direct sunlight. PC-11® resists ultraviolet light but will still gradually change colour. Prime and paint if the colour is important. Can PC-11® be thinned with solvent? PC-11® does not contain solvents. Acetone and denatured alcohol (ethanol) are compatible but will extend the cure time and decrease the hardness. Other solvents such as mineral spirits, paint thinner and turpentine are not compatible. PC-11® is a simple one to one mix, but how accurately does the measurement need to be? The volume of part A to part B should be close to equal. A slight excess of part A is preferable to an excess of part B. Excess of part B will not accelerate the curing and it may make it softer.

    Selleys Tarzan’s Grip Multi-Purpose General Adhesive 250 g

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Tarzan’s Grip Multi-Purpose General Adhesive 250 g is a reliable versatile contact style adhesive for crafts and household fixes chosen for home repairs, trade work, and craft builds when you want a bond you can trust. Designed for Australian conditions, it balances strength, ease of use, and clean application so you can get professional results without special tools. The 250 g pack is ideal for general work and keeps neatly in a toolbox or caddy. Why choose Tarzan's Grip Grip for your next project Everyday jobs often involve mixed materials and imperfect surfaces. Tarzan’s Grip Multi-Purpose General Adhesive 250 g has been formulated to wet out well, grab quickly, and cure to a tough finish that resists movement and contact stress. It maintains bond integrity across common temperature swings and has dependable resistance to moisture and most household chemicals. Whether you are fixing, building, sealing, or assembling, this product gives you confidence from first squeeze through final set. Best for Bonding fabric, leather, and rubber General craft builds Light repairs around the home Suitable surfaces The adhesive works well on the following surface types when properly prepared: Leather and canvas Rubber trim Timber and some plastics Card and foam board Surface preparation Good preparation is the key to a long lasting repair. Remove loose material, dust, and grease. Wipe glossy areas with methylated spirits or an approved cleaner and allow to dry. On very smooth plastics and metals, lightly roughen with fine abrasive paper to give the adhesive a mechanical key. Dry fit parts first and mark alignment points so you can assemble accurately within the open time. If bonding porous materials, ensure both faces are dry and free of surface chalking. How to use Check fit and plan clamping. Do a trial run without adhesive so you know the order of steps. Apply a thin, continuous bead to one surface. For wide pieces, use a zig zag pattern to maximise wetting. Bring surfaces together within the stated open time of allow adhesive to tack before assembly as directed on pack. Reseat once if needed, then hold steady. Apply even pressure using clamps, tape, weights, or temporary fasteners. Avoid squeezing all adhesive out of the joint. Allow to cure undisturbed. Initial handling strength will develop as the adhesive sets, with a full cure reached based on the chemistry described below. Cure profile Forms a tough, flexible bond after solvent evaporation and cure. Press parts together firmly for best adhesion. Temperature and environmental performance Keep away from flames and high heat during application. Once cured, it resists typical temperatures. Avoid application to very cold, sweating, or waterlogged surfaces. For outdoor use protect fresh bonds from rain until the skin has formed and the core has progressed in cure. Once fully cured, the bond resists normal weathering, splash water, and intermittent UV exposure based on the substrate and paint systems used. Clean up and finishing Use appropriate solvent on uncured adhesive, working in a ventilated space. When cured, excess can be carefully trimmed or sanded. For painted finishes, allow the adhesive to fully cure before priming. Test paint on a small area to confirm compatibility and drying behaviour. Coverage guide Coverage varies with bead size, surface porosity, and technique. As a general guide, a 3 mm bead yields approximately 10 to 12 linear meters per 310 mL cartridge. Smaller packs scale proportionally. Gaps, rough edges, and highly absorbent materials will reduce coverage. Plan an extra margin for offcuts and practice passes. Tips for best results Work within the recommended open time so the adhesive can properly wet the surfaces. Use light clamping pressure to keep parts aligned while maintaining a film thickness for strength. For very porous substrates, apply a thin precoat as a primer layer and allow it to tack before final assembly. Keep joint lines clean by masking edges with painter tape and removing it before the adhesive skins. Where movement or vibration is expected, design the joint to share load across a large area. Troubleshooting Poor adhesion: Check for oil, release agents, or surface dust. Reclean and lightly abrade if necessary. Slow cure: Low temperature and low humidity extend cure time. Maintain moderate conditions for best results. Visible squeeze out: Wipe fresh material with a suitable solvent and a soft cloth. Once cured, trim carefully. Bond line prints through paint: Allow a full cure, then prime and apply thin coats of paint, allowing proper drying between coats. Storage and shelf life Replace cap after each use to reduce skinning. Store below 30 C. Always check the pack for a lot code and use by guidance. Reseal immediately after use and store upright. Dispose of empty containers responsibly. Safety Read the label before use. Wear gloves when handling uncured material. Provide ventilation in enclosed areas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets. If sensitivity occurs, stop use and seek advice. Do not ingest. First aid directions and detailed handling information are available on the package and the safety data sheet. Frequently asked questions Can I bond dissimilar materials? Yes, provided each surface is clean and sound. Differences in expansion are managed by the adhesive film thickness and the inherent flexibility after cure. Is clamping required? Light clamping improves alignment and final strength. Excessive pressure can starve the joint of adhesive which reduces performance. Is the bond water resistant? Once cured the bond resists splash water and routine humidity. For permanent immersion choose an adhesive designed for underwater service and follow the manufacturer guidance. Planning your job Measure twice and cut once. Dry assemble parts so you can confirm squareness and alignment before adhesive is involved. Keep rags, clamps, and spacers ready. If you are new to the product, test on offcuts to get a feel for bead size and squeeze out. A consistent 1 to 2 mm bond line is a good starting point for most rigid materials. Thicker lines help when surfaces are uneven. Avoid starving the joint by pressing too hard without giving the adhesive a place to reside. Responsible use Choose an adhesive that suits the materials and the environment the finished piece will face. If a joint will be submerged, carry structural loads, or be exposed to strong chemicals, check the technical data sheet for specific guidance. Many general purpose products are perfect for day to day work, while specialised tasks call for a system designed and tested for that environment. Using the right product first saves time, money, and rework. Aftercare and maintenance Adhesive joints are remarkably strong when used correctly. Design repairs so that routine loads are shared across a generous area. Where heavy vibration is present, pair the adhesive bond with appropriate mechanical fasteners. Keep cleaning chemicals mild, and avoid abrasive pads on visible joints. If a bond will be repainted, choose flexible paint where movement is expected, and keep edges sealed to prevent dirt tracking along the bond line. Recycling and disposal Allow empty containers to cure before disposal. Check local council guidance for recycling of plastics and metal cartridges. Never pour uncured product into drains or soil. Wipe tools on scrap material and let residue harden before placing in general waste. Smart handling keeps the workspace clean and reduces environmental impact.

Using the flexible spatula provided on the lid, press the filler firmly into the crack or hole and smooth off surface; there is no need to overfill. For deeper cracks, apply in 6mm layers allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. Lightly sand back any excess filler from the surface after product dries (2-3 hours for 2mm applications). Dust off any loose dust before applying undercoat and painting with water-based paints or oil-based paints.  Limitations: Product is not flexible so not suitable for use between surfaces that are subject to the structural movement - use Selleys No More Gaps. Avoid using below 5°C or in wet conditions. Painting with oil-based paints is not recommended until 24 hours after the filler has been applied. Water-based paints may be used immediately after the filler has set. If the filler is found to have stiffened prior to use, stir product. The product that has actually hardened should be discarded. If still too dry add one teaspoon of water and stir again to desired consistency. Application tools may be cleaned with water. Before painting, clean dust and filler particles using Selleys Sugar Soap or Selleys Super Kleen. In exterior applications, protect from rain until dry and painted over with 2 coats of paint. Some paints may temporarily discolour when applied over the filler, but will revert to the correct colour once dry. For applications more than 2mm deep, or in cold or humid conditions, expect longer drying times. Keep container closed when not in use.

Selleys Selleys N Mastic – Premium Non-Hardening Waterproof Sealing Putty for Long-Lasting, Flexible Sealing of Joints, Windows, and Roofing

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Selleys N Mastic is a non-hardening, waterproof sealing putty designed for a wide range of applications where long-lasting flexibility is crucial. Ideal for sealing joints, gaps around windows, and roofing, it ensures that structures remain protected from water ingress. The unique formula remains pliable, making it perfect for environments where movement and expansion are expected. Whether you're sealing an outdoor roof gutter, securing window frames, or filling gaps in an air conditioning system, Selleys N Mastic provides a professional-grade finish with no cracking or crumbling. The product is also suitable for metal, glass, concrete, and brick, making it a versatile solution for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. N-Mastic is a non-skinning polybutene-based compound. It will remain permanently soft and paste-like. Uses N-Mastic is suitable for sealing concealed lap joints between plastics, metals, timber, glass, masonry, and expanded foam panels. It may be used in the installation of cool rooms, prefabricated construction and gasket sealed windscreens to exclude draughts and water penetration through joints in materials. Technical Features Non-hardening – remains permanently flexible to provide a lasting seal Good adhesion – adheres well to most substrates Moisture resistance – provides an excellent barrier to moisture vapour Microbe resistance – resists microbial attack Low shrinkage – avoids the risk of sealant pulling away from joint surfaces Wide service temperatures – withstands –40oC to +80oC service conditions Application Tips Due to the non-skinning, non-hardening nature of the sealant, N-Mastic should not be used in exposed joints where dirt pick-up or hand contact can be a problem. As N-Mastic is not elastomeric, it should not be used in areas subject to considerable dynamic stress. Although N-Mastic is resistant to static pressures, a curing sealant is recommended where this is a critical factor. N-Mastic is not recommended for sealing lap joints in mobile homes, truck bodies, etc., as significant vibration and flexing occur during travel. In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Feast Watson Outdoor Furniture Oil in Clear is a penetrating timber oil made to protect outdoor furniture while keeping the natural look of the wood, supplied here in a 1L can. It soaks into the surface rather than sitting on top, so it leaves a natural matt finish that lets the grain and texture show through.About the formulaAn oil-based, one-component formula enriched with eucalyptus oil. It is designed to resist mould and to give excellent water resistance, and the film is penetrating, so it is not expected to crack or flake. The Clear colour keeps the timber's own tone. It is not recommended for direct sunlight or extreme conditions. If you want a higher level of UV protection, choose one of the tinted colours in the range (Hardwood, Jarrah, Teak or Weathered Grey).Where to use itIndoors: not the intended use, as this oil is made for outdoor timber.Outdoors: timber outdoor furniture such as chairs, tables and benches, plus timber BBQ trolleys.Suitable for exterior timber furniture. Test a small, hidden area first if you are unsure how your timber will look. How to use itClean the furniture first with Feast Watson Woodclean to remove dirt, oil, wax and grease, then let it dry fully. Stir the oil thoroughly before and during use so the colour stays even. If you need more than one can, combine them in a larger container first. Apply the first coat with a quality brush, working in sections along the grain and fully coating edges and end grain. A roller or applicator pad can also be used. Let the oil soak in, then wipe off any excess with a brush or clean cloth. Leave it for 12 hours before applying a second coat. For chairs and benches, start on the inside of the legs, then move up to the seat and finish with the back. Clean brushes and tools with mineral turpentine.Important notesAllow about 12 hours between coats. Touch dry time is around 6 hours at 25°C and 50% humidity, and cooler or more humid conditions will take longer. Do not apply below 10°C, in very hot weather, or when rain or heavy dew is expected while the coating dries. Two coats are recommended, and the manufacturer lists a spread rate of about 6m² per litre, which varies with the timber. Over time, watch for colour loss, dryness and weathering. When that happens, clean with Woodclean and apply one maintenance coat. Soak used rags and cloths in water before disposing of them.Specifications Brand Feast Watson Product Outdoor Furniture Oil Size 1L Colour Clear Base Oil-based, with eucalyptus oil Finish Matt Application Brush, roller or applicator pad Coats 2 Recoat time 12 hours Spread rate About 6m² per litre Minimum application temperature 10°C Clean up Mineral turpentine Use Exterior timber furniture, BBQ trolleys and benches SafetyUse in a well-ventilated area and keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Sika Colma Cleaner is a grease-free, solvent-based cleaner made for wiping down bond faces before bonding or sealing, and for cleaning tools and equipment, supplied here as a 1L can. It is a quick, easy-to-use surface prep step that helps strip away oily and industrial residues so primers, activators, adhesives and sealants have a clean surface to work on.About the formulaA one-component, solvent-based liquid that is clear and very thin, so it wets a surface quickly and flashes off without leaving a greasy film. Sika designed it to lift traces of mould release oils and other industrial contaminants from non-porous surfaces. It can also be used to clean tools and equipment.Where to use itIndoors: workshop and factory pre-cleaning of metal bond faces, and cleaning down tools and application equipment, as long as there is good ventilation and no ignition sources.Outdoors: on-site pre-cleaning of metal substrates before applying primers, adhesives or sealants, in suitable weather (see temperature range below).Suitable materials include light metals and alloys, steel and stainless steel. How to use itSoak a clean rag or lint-free paper towel with the cleaner and wipe the bonding areas to remove surface contamination. Work with clean cloths so you lift the contamination off rather than spread it around. After a flash-off time of at least 15 minutes, apply the primer or activator specified for your bonding or sealing system, and allow the flash-off time for that product. Reseal the container tightly straight after each use. Use at ambient and substrate temperatures between +5 °C and +40 °C, and at least 3 °C above the dew point. Allow roughly 50 ml per square metre as a guide.Important notesDo not use on porous substrates. On painted, plastic or other sensitive surfaces, test a small hidden area first or choose a more suitable cleaner. The flash-off time is a minimum of 15 minutes and a maximum of 8 hours, so apply the next product within that window. Unopened product has a shelf life of 24 months from production when stored in the original sealed container, dry, out of direct sunlight, at +5 °C to +25 °C.Specifications Brand Sika Product Colma Cleaner Size 1L can Colour Transparent Base One-component, solvent-based cleaner Application Wipe on with a clean rag or lint-free paper towel Flash-off time Minimum 15 minutes, maximum 8 hours Consumption Approx. 50 ml/m² Density Approx. 0.85 kg/L Flash point Approx. 14 °C Application temperature +5 °C to +40 °C (air and substrate) Shelf life 24 months in sealed original packaging Use Pre-cleaning of non-porous bond faces, tools and equipment SafetyThis is a highly flammable solvent. • Turbo Metal Builders Bog 500ml can, grey two part polyester metal repair filler

Turbo Turbo Metal Builders Bog Two Part Polyester Filler 500ml [Grey]

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Turbo Metal Builders Bog is a two part, aluminium and glass fibre reinforced polyester filler for rusted metal, dents, cracks, holes and tears, supplied here as a 500ml can. It is aimed at panel beaters, builders and DIYers who want a hard, workable repair that can go over or under ordinary body filler for extra strength, and which also works on fibreglass, wood, stone, concrete and aluminium.About the formulaThe filler is a paste based on unsaturated polyester resin in styrene, loaded with aluminium so you can repair metal with a metal-filled compound, and with glass fibre strands that help bridge holes and gaps. Once catalysed with a separate peroxide-based hardener, the mix gels to a cheese-like consistency that can be cut, shaped or pared, then cures hard. Changing the amount of hardener lets you speed up or slow down the set to suit the job and the weather. Turbo describes it as having minimal shrinkage, good stress resistance and flexibility, water resistance and rust-inhibiting properties.Where to use itIndoors: repairing holes, cracks and damaged areas in fibreglass, wood, stone and concrete, and filling larger voids where a standard filler would sag or shrink.Outdoors: rusted-out panels, dents and holes in metal, vehicle bodywork and similar repairs, plus cracked or broken concrete, masonry and aluminium items exposed to weather.Suitable materials include steel and other metals, aluminium, fibreglass, wood, stone, concrete and masonry. It can be used instead of, or underneath, regular plastic body filler. How to use itStart with a clean, dry, sound surface, free of loose rust, paint, oil, grease and dust, and roughen smooth surfaces for a better key. Work out how much filler you need and mix it with the hardener following the directions on the can, stirring until the colour is completely uniform. Because cure speed depends on temperature and the amount of hardener, try a small batch first. Press the mix firmly into the repair, building up and shaping it while it is still soft. Once it has gelled you can trim it, then sand, file, drill, machine and paint it after it has cured hard.Important notesThis is a two part system and will not cure without the hardener, so check the hardener is on hand before you start. More hardener or warmer conditions will shorten the working time, and less hardener will lengthen it. Full cure is typically within about 30 to 60 minutes, and the repair can be painted within the hour, though times vary with temperature and mix. The cured filler is paintable but not stainable. For large structural repairs on metal, make sure the underlying area is sound.Specifications Brand Turbo Product Metal Builders Bog (metallised repairer) Size 500ml can Colour Grey Base Unsaturated polyester resin filler with aluminium and glass fibre Application Hand applied after mixing with hardener Set and cure Gels to a cheese-like consistency, full cure typically about 30 to 60 minutes (varies with hardener and temperature) Paintable Yes, within the hour Sandable Yes Stainable No Shrink resistant Yes UV resistant Yes Use Interior and exterior SafetyKeep away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces, and do not smoke. Parfix Parfix Foam Fill Triple Expanding Filler 750g (Aerosol Can)

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Parfix Foam Fill Triple Expanding Filler is a polyurethane foam in a 750g aerosol can, made for packing out large gaps, cracks and cavities in and around the home. It expands well beyond its sprayed volume to fill irregular voids, then cures to a durable, water resistant foam that bonds to most common building surfaces.About the formulaA one-part polyurethane foam based on an isocyanate (MDI) prepolymer, supplied in a pressurised can. Once cured it is a firm, shrink resistant foam that can be cut, sanded and painted. Cured foam is not UV resistant, so exposed outdoor areas should be painted or covered.Where to use itIndoors: gaps around pipes and cable penetrations, cracks and holes in walls, and cavities around frames and fittings.Outdoors: holes and gaps in brickwork and other building surfaces, protected from direct sunlight once cured.Suitable for most building surfaces, including timber, metal, brick, stone and other masonry. Test on a small hidden area first if you are unsure about a particular material. How to use itWear gloves and safety glasses and work in a well ventilated area. Make sure surfaces are clean and free of loose material, dust and grease. Follow the directions printed on the can for shaking, nozzle attachment and application. Because this foam expands strongly, fill the gap only partly and allow room for growth rather than over-filling. Once fully cured, trim any excess with a knife or saw, then sand or paint as required. Uncured foam is best wiped off straight away with a suitable cleaner as directed on the can. Cured foam must be cut or sanded off.Important notesNot UV resistant, so paint or coat any foam that will be exposed to sunlight. Take care not to over-fill, as expanding foam can distort thin frames, door jambs and window casings. Keep the can away from heat, flames and sources of ignition. Check the can label for temperature range, cure times and further directions, as these are not covered in the product data we hold.Specifications Brand Parfix Product Foam Fill Triple Expanding Filler Pack 750g aerosol can Colour Off white / yellow Base Polyurethane (isocyanate-based) Application Aerosol can Finishing Can be cut, sanded and painted Shrink resistant Yes UV resistant No Use Interior and exterior SafetyUse only in well ventilated areas, wear gloves and eye protection, avoid breathing vapour and wash hands after use. Goof Off Professional Strength Remover is a fast-acting solvent remover for sticky, gummy and stubborn mess, supplied here in a handy 177ml can for the garage, workshop or toolbox. It is built to break down stuck-on adhesive residue and marks that ordinary household cleaners struggle to shift, so you can rescue tools, hard surfaces and finished work instead of replacing them.About the formulaA ready-to-use, thin, clear liquid based on a strong solvent blend that includes acetone and xylene. It is poured or wiped on with a cloth rather than sprayed, which gives you control when you are working on small marks or tight spots. Expect a strong solvent smell, so good ventilation matters.Where to use itIndoors: tackling sticker and label residue, tape and glue marks, crayon, pen and marker, chewing gum, candle wax, lipstick and scuff marks on sturdy hard surfaces around the home.Outdoors and in the garage: cleaning up adhesive, tar, asphalt and similar grime from hand tools, and removing dried latex paint drips and caulk smears from suitable hard surfaces.Suitable materials include metal, glass, brick, wood, concrete, grout, fibreglass, hand tools and most automotive surfaces, as well as fully cured varnished or oil-painted surfaces. It is also promoted for marks on carpet and clothing, but test those first. How to use itWear eye protection and gloves and work in a well-ventilated area, away from any ignition source. Test on a hidden spot first, because every surface reacts differently. Apply a small amount to a clean cloth, then blot or lightly rub the mess until it lifts. Thick or layered residue may need a second pass. Wipe the area clean, let the vapours disperse, and reseal the can straight away.Important notesDo not use on plastics, worn vinyl flooring, some automotive paints or some carpets, as solvents can soften, dull or discolour them. Avoid large areas and spot test dyed fabrics and carpet before treating a visible mark. Keep out of reach of children. Always follow the directions on the can.Specifications Brand Goof Off Product Professional Strength Remover (Adhesive Remover) Size 177ml can Form Ready-to-use liquid Colour Clear Base Solvent-based Application Applied with a cloth, blot or rub lightly Use Indoor and outdoor hard surfaces Pack dimensions 55 x 32 x 135 mm SafetyKeep away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces, and do not smoke. In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Protite Fibreglass Resin is a low styrene emission (LSE) polyester resin for repairing cracks, dents, holes and worn patches on boats, caravans, cars, trailers, gutters and more, supplied here in a 500g size. Mixed with catalyst hardener and used with fibreglass matting or cloth, it gives DIYers and tradies a strong, workable repair material with good adhesion and a consistent wet-out.About the formulaA polyester LSE resin designed for general repair work. Once catalysed it cures to a hard, sandable and paintable finish that resists shrinkage and UV exposure. The resin is a viscous liquid and contains styrene, so it has a strong aromatic odour while you work. It does not cure on its own: you need to add a catalyst hardener (sold separately). Protite also offers a repair kit that bundles the resin with catalyst, matting and application accessories.Where to use itIndoors: repairs to fibreglass, timber, metal and plastic items, models and workshop projects, provided you have good ventilation.Outdoors: caravans, boats, trailers, bikes and cars, plus downpipes, leaky gutters, metal roofs and rusted panels, as well as fibreglass surfboards, pools and tanks.Suitable materials include fibreglass, steel, iron, aluminium, timber, masonry, PVC and smooth polyester surfaces. Test an inconspicuous area first when working on other plastics. How to use itClean the damaged area and remove loose material, grease and dust. Sand the surface so the resin has a key to grip. Pour only the amount of resin you can use in one session into a clean mixing container, then stir in the catalyst hardener. The catalyst manufacturer's guide is 2.5 to 3ml per 100ml of resin on a cold day, or 1.5 to 2ml per 100ml on a hot day. Mix thoroughly with a flat stirring stick until the colour is even. Work the resin into the repair (with matting or cloth if needed) by dabbing or rolling it out slowly to avoid trapping air bubbles. Allow it to cure, then sand and paint as required. Weather, humidity, depth of resin and draughts all change the amount of catalyst you need.Important notesUncatalysed resin will not harden, and too little catalyst or a very thin application can leave the resin tacky or uncured. Too much catalyst makes it gel sooner than expected. The manufacturer indicates the mix starts to gel after about 30 minutes at 25°C, and heat or extra catalyst shortens this while cold or less catalyst lengthens it. Take care when using polyester resin over epoxy surfaces and check compatibility first. Cure times depend on temperature and the amount of catalyst used. Clean tools before the resin cures.Specifications Brand Protite Product Fibreglass Resin (LSE) Size 500g Model number PF-FR0500 Base Polyester resin, low styrene emission Catalyst Required, sold separately Application Hand applied after mixing with catalyst, dabbed or rolled out Finish Sandable and paintable Resistance UV and shrink resistant Use Interior and exterior SafetyUse outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Selleys Kwik Grip Horizontal is a flexible, solvent-based contact adhesive that grips the moment two coated surfaces meet, supplied here in a 500ml can for larger bonding jobs. It suits both porous and non-porous materials and has a thicker body that is easy to spread on flat work, making it a handy choice for laminates, rubber, leather, cork and timber around the home, workshop or job site.About the formulaThis is a polychloroprene contact adhesive in a solvent carrier, light amber in colour. The thicker consistency helps it spread without running or stringing, and it is designed for bonding without clamping once the surfaces are joined. The cured bond is flexible, heat resistant up to 130°C, water resistant and holds up against dilute acids and alkalis.Where to use itIndoors: fixing laminate sheet to benchtops and cabinetry, bonding cork, felt and rubber, repairing leather and canvas items, and general workshop or furniture jobs.Outdoors: repairing tents, car covers and other outdoor canvas equipment, and refitting rubber seals, as the cured bond is rated for exterior use.Suitable materials include laminated plastics (such as Laminex and Formica), rubber, leather, canvas, felt, timber, hardboard and compressed board, cork, metals including aluminium, and fibre cement sheeting. Test any other plastic on an offcut first. How to use it Make sure both surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, grease and loose material. Apply an even coat to both surfaces using a brush or spreader. Leave the surfaces apart until the adhesive is touch dry. This takes about 20 minutes and should not exceed 40 minutes. Line the surfaces up carefully before they meet, using spacers such as dowels on large panels, because the bond grabs immediately on contact. Press the surfaces together firmly, working from one edge, then roll or press with a padded block to bring the whole area into contact. For small porous areas, you can apply to one surface only, join while wet and clamp until dry. Wipe away wet excess with mineral turpentine. Important notesFull bond strength develops in about 24 hours. Do not use on polyethylene or polypropylene. Some plastics, including vinyl sheeting and polystyrene, can be attacked by solvent-based contact adhesives, so test first. Warped or curved surfaces may need clamping. Use only in a well-ventilated area and keep away from heat, sparks and open flames.Specifications Brand Selleys Product Kwik Grip Horizontal Contact Adhesive Pack 500ml can Colour Light amber Base Solvent-based polychloroprene Application Brush or spreader, applied to both surfaces Open time Touch dry in about 20 minutes (maximum 40 minutes) Full strength About 24 hours Heat resistance Up to 130°C Use Interior and exterior SafetyWear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection, and use a suitable respirator if there is an inhalation risk. Selleys Kwik Grip Gel Vertical Contact Adhesive is a thick, non-drip contact adhesive made for bonding upright and overhead surfaces, supplied here in a 400g can. The gel body stays put where a runny contact cement would sag, so it suits wall-mounted laminates, panels and other large flat pieces that need to grip the moment they meet.About the formulaA solvent-based polychloroprene contact adhesive in a light amber gel. It works on both absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces. The gel consistency spreads easily with a brush and resists running and stringing. You coat both surfaces, let them become touch-dry, then press them together and the bond grips straight away. Once cured, the bond is water resistant and handles heat up to 130°C. Selleys also notes that the cured adhesive resists dilute acids and alkalis.Where to use itIndoors: laminate and veneer onto vertical panels and cabinetry, cork and felt onto walls or boards, rubber and leather trims, canvas and upholstery-type repairs.Outdoors: weather-exposed fixings on suitable substrates, where a heat and water resistant contact bond is needed.Suitable materials include cork, rubber, felt, canvas, leather, metals, timber, laminated plastics (such as Laminex and Formica), hardboard and compressed board. Do not use it on polyethylene or polypropylene plastics. How to use itMake sure both surfaces are clean and dry before you start. Work in temperatures between 10°C and 35°C. Brush an even coat onto both surfaces, then wait until the adhesive is almost dry to the touch. Press the surfaces together firmly and accurately, because contact adhesives grip on contact and cannot be repositioned afterwards. No clamping is needed. Reseal the can tightly after use.Important notesThe bond grips immediately but reaches full strength after about 24 hours. Do not apply below 10°C. This adhesive is not suitable for polyethylene or polypropylene. Test a small hidden area first on any sensitive or unusual material, such as foam or soft plastics, as the solvents can affect them.Specifications Brand Selleys Product Kwik Grip Gel Vertical Contact Adhesive Pack 400g can Colour Light amber Base Solvent-based polychloroprene Form Non-drip gel Application Brush, to both surfaces Application temperature 10°C to 35°C Set Immediate grip on contact Full cure 24 hours Heat resistance Up to 130°C Use Interior and exterior Can size (approx.) 87 x 87 x 116 mm SafetyKeep it away from heat, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources, and do not smoke while using it. SikaBond-105 ContactFix is a premium, high strength contact adhesive from Sika, supplied here in a 500mL can for laminate fabrication, upholstery and general sheet bonding. It is a one-component adhesive that dries quickly and gives a strong bond that stands up to heat and moisture, which makes it a practical pick for workshop and trade jobs.About the formulaA one-component polychloroprene (synthetic rubber) contact adhesive. It has a short flash-off time, high initial strength and good resistance to ageing, with a broad adhesion range across common sheet and covering materials. The manufacturer lists a tack-free time of roughly 5 to 8 minutes and heat resistance up to 90°C.Where to use itIndoors: fixing plastic laminates to timber, MDF or particleboard, and covering furniture and joinery with fabric, vinyl or foam.Vehicles and upholstery: Sika lists room-temperature contact bonding of covering materials such as PUR foams and textiles, plus steps, wheel arches, seat brackets and side walls. It also suits cover trims and edging profiles that spring back strongly, and auto and furniture upholstery.Suitable materials include timber, rubber sheets, plastic laminates, fabric, cloth-backed and polyester-backed vinyl, MDF, particleboard, concrete, glass and metal sheets. Test on your actual materials and conditions first to confirm adhesion and compatibility. How to use it Make sure both surfaces are sound, clean, dry and free of dirt, oil, grease, loose coatings and friable material. Apply an even coat to both surfaces. Earlier Sika data sheets list a roller coater, tooth comb, brush or spray gun as suitable methods. Let the adhesive dry until it is tack free (about 5 to 8 minutes, depending on conditions), then bring the surfaces together firmly with strong, even pressure. Take care with positioning, because contact adhesives bond on first contact. Clean tools and equipment while the adhesive is still uncured, using Sika Remover-208, Sika Colma Cleaner or another suitable solvent. Important notesDo not use in temperatures below +10°C or in condensing conditions. For best results, apply at ambient, material and adhesive temperatures within the range stated on the Sika data sheet. Store unopened in the original packaging, dry and out of direct sunlight, between +5°C and +25°C. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of production. Always test compatibility on the real substrates before committing to a full job.Specifications Brand Sika Product SikaBond-105 ContactFix High Strength Premium Contact Adhesive Pack 500mL can Colour Light amber (per current Sika data sheet) Base One-component polychloroprene Density 0.81 kg/L Solids content About 17% by mass Viscosity 350 mPa.s Tack-free time About 5 to 8 minutes Consumption 6 to 8 m² per litre Temperature resistance Up to 90°C Shelf life 12 months from production Clean up Sika Remover-208, Sika Colma Cleaner or other suitable solvent SafetyKeep away from heat, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources, and do not smoke. Selleys Plastic Wood is a fast-setting, solvent-based wood filling cement for repairing holes, dents and chips in interior timber, supplied here in a 230g maple-coloured tin. It is a simple fix for furniture, skirting, architraves and other indoor joinery, and once set it can be worked much like the timber around it.About the formulaA solvent-based paste containing natural wood fibres, finished in a maple (tan) colour. It dries quickly to a hard finish that holds up to sanding, nailing and planing. Once dry it can be stained, varnished, painted or lacquered, so the repair can be finished in the same way as the surrounding wood. It is a rigid filler, so it is not designed for joints that move.Where to use itIndoors: filling nail holes, dents, chips and small cracks in furniture, doors, window frames, skirting boards, architraves and other interior woodwork.Outdoors: not recommended. The manufacturer rates this product for interior use only.Suitable materials include natural timber and wood veneer. How to use itStir the product thoroughly before use. Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of loose material. Press the filler in with a putty knife and slightly overfill deeper holes so there is room to sand back flush. Do not fill deeper than 6mm in a single application. Let it dry fully before sanding, staining, painting or lacquering. Wipe the putty knife clean with methylated spirits. Press the lid on firmly after use and store the tin somewhere cool.Important notesNot suitable for exterior use. Not recommended where structural movement may occur, so use a flexible product for joints and gaps between surfaces. Work in a well-ventilated area. Colour is maple only, so test a small area first if you need to match a different timber tone, or plan to stain or paint over the repair.Specifications Brand Selleys Product Plastic Wood Filler Cement Size 230g tin Colour Maple Base Solvent-based, with natural wood fibres Application Putty knife Maximum fill depth 6mm per application Set speed Fast setting Clean up Methylated spirits Use Interior only SafetyThis is a highly flammable solvent-based product. In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Turbo Builder's Bog is a trade quality, two part polyester filler for repairing damaged and rotted timber, supplied here in a 500ml can for builders, painters and capable DIYers. It sets to a hard, wood-like finish that you can sand, drill and paint, so it suits window sills, door frames and other jobs where replacing the timber is not practical.About the formulaA polyester-based filler paste that cures by a chemical reaction when mixed with the red hardener paste, rather than by drying out. Because of this, it shows no obvious shrinkage. You choose the working time by adjusting how much hardener you add within the range printed on the can, and the mix also sets faster in warm weather. As it sets it passes through a soft, cheese-like stage where it can be trimmed with a blade or a surform file. Shaping at this point saves a lot of sanding. It spreads smoothly, holds its shape on large fills without slumping, and bonds firmly to timber.Where to use itIndoors: filling holes, gaps and dents in architraves, skirtings, door frames and other timber trims before painting.Outdoors: repairing window sills, sashes, fascias, decks and door frames, including areas where the timber is partly rotten, once the soft material has been cleared back to sound wood.Suitable material is timber. It is designed as a timber repair filler and can be painted over once cured. Test first before using on other surfaces. How to use itMake sure the timber is clean, dry, unpainted, roughened and free of rot. Remove any soft or crumbling material first. Place the amount of filler you need on a clean, flat, non-absorbent surface, such as the plastic over-cap. Add the red hardener in the proportion given on the can, then mix thoroughly until the colour is completely even with no red or white streaks. As a guide from the manufacturer's mixing chart, 100g of filler with 2.5g of hardener gels in about 7 minutes at 22°C. Use less hardener if you need longer working time, particularly in warm weather. Press the mix into the repair with a putty knife or spatula, overfilling slightly. When it reaches the cheese-like stage, trim it to shape with a blade or surform. Allow about 30 to 60 minutes for a full cure, then sand and paint. Mix a small test batch first, because temperature and thickness change the set time.Important notesAlways follow the mix ratio on the can, because too little or too much hardener can affect the cure. Thick fills set faster than thin ones. Timber will still expand and contract with moisture changes, so good woodworking practice should still be followed around the repair. Mixed material generates heat as it cures. Do not leave mixed product in a pile or sealed container. Close the can tightly after use. Check the can and the supplied instructions for full details.Specifications Brand Turbo Product Builder's Bog timber repair filler Size 500ml can Colour Beige / buff paste Base Two part unsaturated polyester filler (cured with red hardener paste) Application Hand applied with a putty knife or spatula Gel time Adjustable by hardener amount; about 7 minutes in the 100g to 2.5g example at 22°C Full cure About 30 to 60 minutes Finishing Sandable, drillable and paintable Use Interior and exterior Country of manufacture New Zealand SafetyIt has a characteristic styrene odour. In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Selleys Plasti-Bond Heavy Duty is a two part polyester filler built for repairs that have to carry load, not simply look tidy. Once the hardener is stirred through, it firms up to a dense, rigid mass in about twenty minutes without the shrinking or cracking that catches out lightweight patching compounds, and it holds its shape well enough to be drilled, tapped and fixed into after curing. The 400g can covers the middle ground jobs that a small pack runs short on. What it is The pack contains an off white polyester putty base and a separate hardener that is mixed in immediately before use. Working time is short, around five minutes at normal room temperature, so the product is mixed in batches rather than all at once. Cured Plasti-Bond can be sawn, drilled, filed, sanded and painted, and the base can be tinted with cement oxides or paint tinters before the hardener goes in if a coloured finish is wanted. Where to use it Indoors: filling holes, cracks and splits in walls, ceilings, floors and doors; rebuilding worn areas around hinges, locks and door handles; making good chipped tiles and ceramics; anchoring bolts and fixtures into masonry; stopping countersunk fastener heads flush in almost any material. Outdoors: patching chipped concrete steps and paths, repairing galvanised guttering and downpipes, and restoring fibreglass, timber and metal on furniture, sporting gear, cars, caravans and boats above the water line. Outdoor repairs should be painted, since the cured filler can discolour if left bare in sunlight. How to use it Prepare the surface so it is clean, dry, unpainted and free of grease or oil. On steel or aluminium panel work that will see vibration, punch or drill the area first to give the filler a positive key. Stir the base thoroughly, then blend in the hardener, working the mix from side to side until the colour is completely uniform. Extra hardener speeds the set in cold weather; less hardener buys time across several separate fills. Apply with a putty knife or spatula, pressing firmly into the repair and slightly overfilling to leave material for sanding. Feather the edges as you go. Take off most of the excess with a Surform or file between roughly twenty and thirty minutes, while it is firm but not yet rock hard. Once fully hard, finish with ordinary files or sandpaper. Paint with water based or oil based paint. Clean tools with mineral turps before the product cures. Important notes Not suitable for continuous immersion or for joints that need to stay flexible. May not adhere to polyethylene, polypropylene or PTFE. Can discolour if left unpainted outdoors. Mix only what you can apply inside the working time; cured material cannot be re-softened. Replace the lid firmly after use and store the can in a cool place. Specifications Brand Selleys Product Plasti-Bond Heavy Duty Bog Pack size 400g Technology Two part polyester putty Appearance Off white paste Working time Approximately 5 minutes at 23 degrees C Cure time Approximately 20 minutes Suitable substrates Metal, timber, brick, fibre cement, fibreglass, concrete, plaster, tiles, ceramics and many plastics Paintable Yes, once cured Clean up Mineral turps before curing Use Indoor and outdoor Safety Polyester fillers and their hardeners are flammable and give off solvent vapour while curing. Avoid prolonged skin contact and wash any splashes off promptly. Keep out of reach of children, do not allow washings to enter drains or waterways, and dispose of unused material and empty containers in line with local regulations. Oz-Oil Decking Oil is a multipurpose exterior timber oil from Prep Productions, pitched as a five-in-one product: one can covers your deck, outdoor furniture, pergola, fences and gates. Blended from natural plant oils, it soaks into the timber to preserve and seal it from within, leaving a natural, semi-transparent appearance rather than a glossy film. A practical bonus for occasional users: the manufacturer states it is non-evaporative and will not gel in the can, so leftover oil keeps for the next job rather than going to waste.Formula overviewA blend of natural seed oils and waxes carried in dipentene, a citrus-derived solvent. The oil is lightly pigmented and semi-clear with a citrus odour, and works by penetrating the boards rather than coating them.Where to use itOutdoor: external timber including decking, cladding, railings, joists, bearers, rafters, pergolas, garden furniture, fences and gates.Indoor: not intended for interior use. This is an exterior timber oil.How to use Stir well before use, as the oils may settle in the can. Make sure the timber is clean, dry and free of old coatings. Follow the can label for preparation guidance. Apply with a brush or lambswool applicator. Apply 2 coats, allowing 24 hours before recoating. Coverage is up to 12 square metres per litre depending on timber porosity. Important notes The finish is semi-transparent. It enriches the timber tone but will not deliver an opaque or solid colour. Like all penetrating oils, results depend on surface preparation. Weathered grey timber should be cleaned back to sound wood first. Check the can label for clean-up directions and detailed preparation steps. Specifications Size 4 litres Base Natural seed oils and waxes in citrus-derived dipentene Coats 2 Recoat time 24 hours Coverage Up to 12 m² per litre Finish Transparent matt, natural semi-transparent tone Application Brush or lambswool applicator Shelf life Non-evaporative, does not gel in the can Made in Australia SafetyCombustible liquid (flash point around 68°C). Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames, and store below 30°C, tightly closed, in a well-ventilated area away from strong oxidisers. Rags soaked in decking oil can self-heat and spontaneously combust: lay used rags flat to dry outdoors or soak them in water before disposal. May irritate skin and can cause an allergic skin reaction in people sensitised to citrus solvents, so wear gloves when applying. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for full details.

Prep Productions Prep Organoil Woodguard Penetrating New Timber Seasoner And Sealer 4L

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Organoil Woodguard is a deeply penetrating oil treatment made to look after brand-new exterior timber in the period between installation and final finishing. Fresh hardwood often carries high moisture and, left bare, can cup, split, crack or bleed tannins as it dries out. Woodguard soaks into the boards and stabilises them while they acclimatise, so the timber arrives at oiling day in sound, even condition. It is made in Australia by Prep Productions and formulated for harsh Australian and New Zealand exposure.Formula overviewA natural-oil blend built around tung oil and beeswax, carried by dipentene, a citrus-derived solvent. Rather than forming a film on top of the wood, the blend penetrates the timber surface, which is why it is applied as a single coat and later over-coated with a finishing oil.Where to use itOutdoor: new, raw timber decking, joists, bearers, cladding, posts, rails and exterior joinery. Particularly recommended for dense or high-moisture hardwoods such as spotted gum and plantation species before they are oiled.Indoor: not intended for interior finishing. Woodguard is an exterior pre-treatment, not a furniture or floor finish. How to use Stir well before use, as natural oils can settle. New raw timber can be treated directly. Timber that has already weathered in the elements should first be cleaned with a timber wash such as Organoil Wash-A-Way. Apply one coat only, using a brush or lambswool applicator. Coverage is up to 12 square metres per coat depending on timber density and porosity. Allow the treatment to dry fully before applying your finishing oil. Follow the can label for drying guidance. Important notes Woodguard is an interim protectant, not a final finish. Plan to apply a decking or exterior timber oil afterwards. Designed as a one-coat application. Do not over-apply. For new or raw untreated timber only. Previously coated timber should be stripped and washed first. Specifications Size 4 litres Base Solvent-borne natural oils (tung oil, beeswax, citrus-derived dipentene) Coats 1 Coverage Up to 12 m² per coat Finish Matt, natural Application Brush or lambswool applicator Made in Australia SafetyCombustible liquid (flash point around 61°C). Suitable materials common building materials ceramics wood metals some plastics stone Typical applications General installation, repair, and maintenance where a durable bond is required. Interior work that benefits from a neat finish and tidy joints. Projects where dependable initial grab and high final strength are important. Surface preparation Ensure all surfaces are clean, sound, and dry. Remove dust, oil, release agents, laitance, and any loose or flaky material. For dense or non-porous surfaces, light abrasion improves key. Test adhesion on a small area if you are unsure about compatibility. Observe local safety requirements when sanding or cutting. Application Check ambient and substrate temperature. Apply between 10°C and 30°C. Cut the nozzle to the required bead size or prepare the container according to the product type. Apply an even bead or spread with a suitable trowel where required. Avoid trapping air. Press the materials together, ensuring full contact. For sheet goods, roll firmly to promote transfer and wetting. Support, clamp, or brace as needed until the adhesive develops sufficient handling strength. Cure and working time Cure time varies with product and conditions. Allow adequate time before loading or finishing. Cooler temperatures and high humidity will slow curing, while warmer, drier conditions accelerate it. Do not load or finish until the bond has developed adequate strength. Always follow best practice for ventilation and safe handling during cure. Coverage Coverage varies based on substrate profile, bead size, and installation method. As a guide, a 300 ml cartridge with a 6 mm round bead can lay several linear meters. For trowel applied adhesives, a notched trowel pattern will influence yield. Plan to have extra on hand for porous or uneven surfaces. Limitations Do not apply to surfaces that are visibly wet unless the product specifically allows damp application. Avoid continuous water immersion unless the product is rated for that exposure. Not all plastics are compatible; test on polypropylene, polyethylene, and PTFE if required. Observe maximum service temperature and any movement or vibration limits appropriate to the application. Clean up Clean uncured product with a suitable solvent or water as applicable. Always read the product label and follow local regulations for disposal of leftover material and containers. Safety Read the label before use and keep out of reach of children. Use in a well ventilated area. Wear protective gloves and eye protection. Do not ingest. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for full details. Storage Store upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep the cap or nozzle tightly closed when not in use. Do not allow to freeze unless the product literature states it is freeze-thaw stable. Rotate stock to use older product first. Troubleshooting Poor adhesion: Check surface prep, remove contaminants, and reapply with firm pressure. Slow cure: Verify temperature and humidity. Increase airflow or allow more time. Excess squeeze-out: Reduce bead size or spread more evenly. Clean residue before it skins. Frequently asked questions Can I paint over it? Many adhesives can be overcoated once cured. Test a small area with your paint system first. Is it suitable outdoors? Check the product label for outdoor rating. Protect fresh adhesive from rain until cured. What is the service temperature range? Typical service ranges suit most building environments. Avoid direct flame or extreme heat. How do I remove cured material? Mechanical methods are usually required. Work carefully to avoid damaging surrounding finishes. Why buy from Glues Australia We curate a focused range so you can choose faster and build better. In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Gyprock CSR Acrylic Stud Adhesive 1 kg is a reliable acrylic stud adhesive for secure plasterboard fixing chosen for home repairs, trade work, and craft builds when you want a bond you can trust. Designed for Australian conditions, it balances strength, ease of use, and clean application so you can get professional results without special tools. The 1 kg pack is ideal for general work and keeps neatly in a toolbox or caddy. Why choose Gyprock CSR CSR for your next project Everyday jobs often involve mixed materials and imperfect surfaces. Gyprock CSR Acrylic Stud Adhesive 1 kg has been formulated to wet out well, grab quickly, and cure to a tough finish that resists movement and contact stress. It maintains bond integrity across common temperature swings and has dependable resistance to moisture and most household chemicals. Whether you are fixing, building, sealing, or assembling, this product gives you confidence from first squeeze through final set. Best for Fixing plasterboard to studs and battens Reducing the chance of nail pops and drumminess Suitable surfaces The adhesive works well on the following surface types when properly prepared: Timber framing and battens Metal studs as directed by code Back of plasterboard Surface preparation Good preparation is the key to a long lasting repair. Bring surfaces together within the stated open time of install sheets within the wet time window. Cure profile Apply daubs as specified, then fix sheets with screws or nails. Adhesive cures to a resilient bond that complements mechanical fastening. Temperature and environmental performance Use in moderate temperatures for consistent cure. Clean up and finishing Clean fresh residue with a damp cloth. Scrape away cured beads before setting coats. Storage and shelf life Keep sealed. Do not allow to skin in the tub.
