Description
Dunlop Artificial Grass Adhesive in the value 4 litre can is a high strength, all-weather adhesive from Dunlop Trade (ARDEX Australia) for laying artificial grass, outdoor carpet and marine carpet across larger areas. Formulated with excellent water and heat resistance, it keeps synthetic turf and outdoor floor coverings firmly bonded through harsh Australian conditions, and is backed by a 10 year guarantee. At roughly 3m² per litre, one 4L can covers around 12m² – ideal for full lawns, entertaining areas and commercial installs.
Where to use it
Built for outdoor projects – synthetic lawns, pool surrounds, balconies, rooftops, courtyards and marine decks – and also suitable for indoor areas such as covered patios. It bonds securely to concrete, clean paved surfaces, suitably prepared metal, sanded fibreglass and timber.
How to use
Prepare a clean, dry, dust-free surface. Spread the adhesive evenly using a suitable notched spreader or trowel, working in sections you can cover while the adhesive is wet. Lay the grass or carpet into the adhesive, smooth outwards to expel trapped air, then roll or weight the surface. Keep traffic off until the adhesive has fully cured.
Important notes
Do not use in extremely hot or cold conditions – apply between 10°C and 30°C – and do not apply when dew or rain is expected before the adhesive has set. Ensure joins are well supported and seams glued continuously for a lasting result.
