Glues Australia Returns & Refunds Policy
We want your experience to be smooth and fair. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, and (where applicable) compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss. These rights apply regardless of any timeframes in this policy.
1) Change-of-Mind Returns (optional store policy)
- We offer 28-day change-of-mind returns.
- Item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging where possible.
- Proof of purchase is required.
- A 10% restocking fee applies to change-of-mind returns only.
- Return shipping is at the customer’s cost.
- Requests after 28 days aren’t accepted for change-of-mind.
- To start a return, email admin@gluesaustralia.com.au for an RA number (recommended for faster processing).
2) Faulty, Defective or Damaged Items (ACL remedies)
If your item is faulty, not as described, unsafe, or otherwise fails a consumer guarantee, contact us and we’ll organise a repair, replacement or refund depending on the nature of the problem (major vs minor).
- Email admin@gluesaustralia.com.au with your order number, a description of the issue and photos if available.
- Where a remedy is owed, we’ll cover reasonable return shipping or arrange collection.
- You do not need original packaging or an RA number to exercise your ACL rights, though they help us process your return quickly.

3) Dead on Arrival (DOA)
Please let us know as soon as possible (ideally within 14 days of delivery) if your product arrives not working so we can fast-track a replacement or refund. This does not limit your ACL rights if a fault is discovered later.
4) Assessment & “No Fault Found”
Where goods are returned as faulty but test within specification or the issue results from incorrect use, we may charge a $55 + GST assessment fee and return shipping. No fee applies where a consumer guarantee remedy is owed.
5) Non-Returnable (for change-of-mind only)
- Opened or used products
- Special-order or non-stock items
(These limits do not apply to faulty goods covered by the ACL.)
6) Claims for Shipping Shortages or Transit Damage
Please notify us promptly (ideally within 7 days of delivery) about missing items or transit damage so we can investigate with the carrier. This request does not affect your ACL rights.
7) Repairs & Refurbished Parts
Where appropriate, goods may be repaired with refurbished parts or replaced with refurbished goods of the same type, consistent with the ACL.
