Description
Dunlop Artificial Grass Adhesive is a high strength, all-weather adhesive from Dunlop Trade (ARDEX Australia), purpose-made for laying artificial grass, outdoor carpet and marine carpet. With excellent water and heat resistance and a bond that stands up to sun, rain and foot traffic, it is the reliable way to keep synthetic turf flat and secure – and it is backed by a 10 year guarantee. This handy 1 litre can is ideal for smaller lawns, edges, joins and repair work.
Where to use it
Designed primarily for outdoor projects such as synthetic lawns, pool surrounds, balconies, courtyards and boat decks, and equally suitable for indoor applications like covered patios and utility areas. It bonds securely to concrete, clean paved surfaces, suitably prepared metal, sanded fibreglass and timber.
How to use
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust, oil and loose material. Spread the adhesive evenly with a suitable notched spreader or trowel at approximately 3m² per litre, then lay the grass or carpet into the wet adhesive, smoothing outwards to remove air pockets. Weight or roll the surface while the adhesive develops strength and avoid heavy traffic until fully cured.
Important notes
Do not apply in extremely hot or cold conditions – work between 10°C and 30°C – and never apply when dew or rain is imminent, as moisture can affect bond development before cure.
