FAQs Is Gorilla Mounting Tape food safe? Gorilla Mounting Tape is not recommended for direct or indirect food contact and should not be considered food safe.  How do I remove Gorilla Mounting Tape from my surface? Gorilla Mounting Tape is a permanent tape and may cause surface damage. If the object must be removed, the mounted object must be removed first. This may best be achieved by prying from one corner. Next, the mounting tape can be removed by slowly stretching the tape parallel to the surface. Will Gorilla Mounting Tape work on plastic/vinyl/rubber? Gorilla Mounting Tape works well on many plastics, however, it does not work on certain low surface energy plastics, such as polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), or certain types of rubber with high oil or plasticizer content.  How do I remove the liner on Gorilla Mounting Tape? The liner should be removed once the tape is applied to object. Lift the liner from the corner by using your fingernail, edge of the product blister card, or a blade. The liner may also be removed by pinching and stretching the corner of the Mounting Tape at a 40-degree angle to the surface, until the liner lifts.

Sikaflex® Pro+ is a 1-component moisture curing polyurethane elastic sealant and adhesive that is formulated with Sika’s newly engineered i-Cure technology to provide higher performance, more movement capability, and improved bubble-free curing. Sika’s new i-Cure technology is user and eco-friendly, with no solvents and a low environmental impact, while maintaining the performance of traditional polyurethane. It is suitable for overpainting with traditional paint coatings. The i-Cure® technology has an early initial set and overcomes bubbling in the sealant while curing, even in extreme conditions. Sikaflex® Pro+ is a high-performance, interior and exterior elastic joint sealant with excellent water, weather, and ageing resistance. It has many uses, including: Expansion joints in walls and cladding Sealing around doors and window frames Sealing penetrations in walls and floors for pipes Sealing joints in concrete and masonry elements Sealant for draught-proofing and general sealing and filling applications Pro+ can be used on a multitude of applications and common building substrates. It has good adhesion to damp substrates. To name a few, Pro+ can be used on: Aluminium Steel Powder-coated metals or glazed tiles Concrete, aerated concrete, cement-based renders, mortars, and bricks Application of Sikaflex® Pro+ Ensure all surfaces are structurally sound, clean, dry, and free from any grease, etc. (The surface can be damp but not wet. If uncertain, apply masking tape to test adhesion. If masking tape sticks to the surface, it's OK to proceed.) Movement joints must have a minimum width and depth of 5mm. Apply a bond-breaker tape, or backing rod to the base of the joint to prevent 3-sided adhesion. To keep the work clean, apply masking tape to the top edge of the joint on each face. Cut the nozzle to the required width and gun sealant into the joint. Avoid voids or air entrapment in the joint when applying. Before the sealant has skinned, tool off with an appropriate spatula to give a smooth finish. Remove the masking tape and clean up immediately.

If necessary, use mineral turpentine to clean surface and allow to dry. Cut cartridge tip, fit nozzle and cut nozzle tip to a suitable size opening (approximately 5mm). Place cartridge into caulking gun. Apply ‘dobs’ or ‘beads’ of adhesive of appropriate thickness to ensure sufficient contact and spread between both surfaces. (To minimise ‘squeezed out’ apply at least 12mm in from edges) Immediately bring surfaces together before product skins (within 5 minutes) and apply sufficient pressure to spread between both surfaces Do not wipe ‘squeeze out’. Wait until product cures and remove by trimming with a sharp blade, but avoid cutting into the bond. Leave bond undisturbed until adhesive cures sufficiently. Do not allow traffic on stairs or use of walls for at least 24 hours after adhesive application. Do not apply to wet/damp surfaces Technical Details and Performance Liquid Nails Landscape will skin and begin curing within 5 minutes. Full cure will normally be achieved in 72 hours. Indicative information only, not to be used for setting specifications. Consistency (As applied) Non-slump, solvent free paste Curing Mechanism Very rapidly develops rubber consistency by reaction with moisture from the air Curing Rate 2mm depth per day Skin Forming Time 10-15 minutes (depending on weather conditions) Service Temperature –60°C to +150°C Lap Shear Bond Strength (Hoop Pine to Hoop Pine at 1.6mm thick adhesive, 500sq mm bond area) After 7 days: 570KPa Coverage 15 metres of a 5mm diameter bead Cleaning Clean all excess adhesive from equipment before it cures with a cloth dampened with mineral turpentine or acetone. Once cured adhesive is extremely difficult to remove and must be abraded or trimmed with a knife. Spilt of smeared adhesive is best left to cure and then removed by abrasion.

Davco SMP Evo Tile Adhesive is a high-performance, flexible cement-based adhesive ideal for the installation of natural stone, porcelain, and marble tiles. Specially designed with advanced low-dust technology, it provides a cleaner and safer working environment. Its superior non-slump properties make it perfect for wall and floor tiling, including large-format tiles. Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are structurally sound, dry, and free from contaminants like dust, oil, and wax. Smooth surfaces should be roughened slightly, and absorbent substrates should be primed. Existing tiles must be clean, dry, and securely bonded. Mixing: Mix 5kg of powder with approximately 1.4–1.5L of clean water using a mechanical mixer until a smooth, lump-free paste is formed. Allow it to stand for 5 minutes before remixing. Do not add more water after mixing. Application: Apply the adhesive with a notched trowel over an area no larger than can be tiled within the open time. Firmly press tiles into the adhesive bed with a twisting motion to ensure full contact. Back-buttering may be necessary for large tiles or uneven substrates. Coverage: Approximately 1.5–1.75m² per 5kg bag using a 10mm notch trowel. Drying Time: Tiles can generally be grouted after 24 hours. Allow 2 days before exposure to water in wet areas and 21 days for submerged areas like pools. Clean-up: Clean tools and excess adhesive with water before it sets. Once cured, adhesive must be removed mechanically. Technical Data: Classification: C2S1TE Pot life: 1.5 hours Open time: 30 minutes Adjustability time: 20 minutes VOC content: Low Appearance: White powder

A two part epoxy adhesive that bonds with maximum strength. Mixed product gels in 2 hours. Initial bonding is achieved in 6-8 hours with maximum bond strength strength after 3 days. Features Araldite is stronger than other glues due to the chemical reaction of the two parts Bonds a variety of surfaces Dries Clear Very Strong, durable bonding Very high water resistance (e.g. OK for fixing tiles around pool, but not below the water line. For this use Selleys Knead it Aqua) Forms a rigid, durable bond Can be used for gap filling (surfaces need not mate closely) Good chemical resistance Heat Resistant Clamping is recommended to achieve a stronger bond Not suitable for bonding plastics such as Polypropylene and Polyethylene Bond strength weakens above 80°C but strength is regained when temperature drops Where can this product be used? Load bearing repairs Gluing the head back on your hammer Fixing loose table or chair legs. Bonding solid pieces of Aluminium sheeting Bonding timber on your boat Repairing splits and cracks in Cricket bats Bonding fibreglass sheets Repairing Ski’s Fixing Dynabolts and metal rods into concrete What materials is this product suitable for? Glass Metal Wood Fabric Rigid Plastic – will not bond to Polyethylene or Polypropylene plastics Crystal Leather How to use this product Before applying the Araldite mixture, all surfaces MUST be thoroughly clean and dry. All traces of grease, rust paint, etc. should be removed. For best results smooth surfaces should be roughened by mechanical abrasion after solvent cleaning. Onto a clean, disposable surface (e.g. polyethylene or cardboard), dispense equal volumes of Part A and Part B. Thoroughly mix together with a spatula, nail or stick. When using the tubes it is essential to use the correct mixing ratio, i.e. 1 part each Apply adhesive immediately to both surfaces and press together. Clamping is necessary while bond sets over 6-8 hours. Scrape off excess adhesive and wipe mixing utensils immediately. When using tubes, Ensure correct caps are replaced on each tube or they will harden Handy tips For maximum working time, mix in small quantities. Large quantities accelerate the curing process and reduce working time. To extend product life replace caps immediately after use. Ensure you wipe excess from nozzle with a tissue dipped in acetone (or nail polish remover) before replacing cap. When using the tube variant, ensure you replace the correct cap on the correct tube. Placing the wrong cap on the wrong tube will cause the tube to harden. (lids and tubes are colour coded to help) Wipe off any uncured araldite with acetone or nail polish remover. To remove product after cure, mechanical action (scraping or sanding) is recommended. Since the product is chemically resistant solvent will NOT dissolve this product. To reposition the bond once cured, check that the item is heat resistant. If safe, heat the item slowly, e.g. in an oven, to at least 150oC. The product will soften and liquify slightly. Scrape off any excess then reposition the joint carefully using appropriate safety equipment. Allow the item to cool down in the correct position. The product will reharden once returned to room temperature. Clamping recommended for a stronger bond. For cleaning surfaces prior to application of adhesive, if the surface is porous, we would reccomend using Selleys Liquid Sugar Soap. If the surfact is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with Methylated Spirits. If there is old difficult to remove residue such as oold paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as Selleys Kwik Strip Smart. Ensure the surface is dry before applying the product.
