FAQs
Is Gorilla Mounting Tape food safe?
No. It is not recommended for direct or indirect food contact.
How do I remove Gorilla Mounting Tape?
This is a permanent tape and may cause surface damage on removal. First remove the mounted object by gently prying from a corner. Then slowly stretch the tape parallel to the surface to lift it away.
Will it work on plastic, vinyl, or rubber?
It adheres to many plastics, but not to low surface energy plastics such as polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), and may not adhere to certain rubbers with high oil or plasticizer content.
How do I remove the liner?
After applying tape to the object, lift the clear liner from a corner using a fingernail, the edge of packaging, or a blade. You can also pinch and stretch a corner of the tape at about a 40 degree angle until the liner lifts.
Always clean and dry surfaces before application. Test first on delicate surfaces. Not recommended for wallpaper, poorly bonded paint, or other fragile finishes.
