Liquid Nails Direct Stick is a high strength polyurethane flooring adhesive designed for timber strip flooring and parquetry. Its semi rigid formula delivers a strong bond that helps reduce cupping and rafting. A controlled foaming action fills minor gaps. Fast cure means most floors can be sanded the next day to keep your project moving.

Technical Details

Technology Polyurethane adhesive
Cure time Overnight under normal conditions. Sand and finish the next day.
Application temperature 10°C to 30°C
Coverage 2 m² per 1 L using the correct trowel
20 m² per 10 L using the correct trowel
Clean up Protect adjacent finishes. Wipe fresh adhesive from surfaces before cure.

Important Information

  • Apply with a strip flooring or parquetry trowel to achieve stated coverage.
  • Floors can usually be sanded the next day after proper cure.
  • Protect surrounding finishes from expansion during foaming.

Limitations

  • Not suitable for wet or damp substrates.
  • Avoid application below 10°C.

Directions for Use

  1. Prepare the surface. Ensure substrates are clean, dry, sound, and free from dust, oil, and contaminants.
  2. Apply adhesive. Use the correct strip flooring or parquetry trowel. Spread adhesive evenly within the working time.
  3. Lay flooring. Place boards or parquetry into the wet adhesive. Press firmly to ensure full contact and adhesive transfer.
  4. Allow to cure. Leave to cure overnight under recommended conditions.
  5. Finish. Sand and finish the floor as required once the adhesive has cured.
