Gorilla Original Gorilla Glue Minis Bonds Virtually Everything Water Proof x 4 tubes

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

The product that started it all. Original Gorilla Glue built a name for itself with its incredible, industrial holding power and versatility. Water activated, it expands into materials to form an incredibly strong bond to virtually anything. Gorilla Glue is your solution for almost any project or repair. It’s 100% waterproof, safe for indoor and outdoor use and strong enough to stand up to the elements. Plus, its expansion allows it to penetrate the glued surface for a superior bond. Sand it, paint it, stain it. Simply stated, it’s the Toughest Glue on Planet Earth. Directions: Prepare and Dampen the Surfaces If you’re using Original Gorilla Glue for the first time, or bonding a new type of material, we always recommend trying a test piece first. Prepare your surfaces: All surfaces must be clean, dust free and tight fitting. For shiny surfaces, such as metals, glass and some plastics, roughen up the material to give the glue something to bite into. Damp It: Lightly dampen one surface with water. We recommend using a damp cloth or spraying with water. Do not saturate the surface. For dense hardwoods, lightly dampen both surfaces prior to gluing. Evenly Apply Gorilla Glue Onto the Dry Surface Glue It: Carefully apply onto the dry surface. Do not over apply. We recommend wearing gloves or spreading the glue with a disposable brush. In some instances, Gorilla Glue can be a skin sensitizer. If you are predisposed to skin reactions, please take the extra precaution. If you do get the glue on your skin, try removing it with a dry cloth or paper towel first (particularly if the glue is still tacky). If that doesn’t work, try washing with soap and cold water, or using an exfoliator with a gritty texture. Dry your skin and apply lotion. We do not recommend using any kind of alcohol or acetone. This actually strips the skin of its natural oils, which means the glue is more likely to stick. Clamp the Two Surfaces Together Tightly Clamp It: Make sure the clamping pressure is distributed evenly across the surface. Or, if you don’t have a clamp, use heavy objects or Gorilla Tape® to achieve the appropriate clamping pressure. For lighter objects, try using rubber bands to hold the pieces together tightly. Clamp objects for 1–2 hours. For best results, allow 24 hours to cure. Clean up If you need to remove any uncured “squeeze out” or wet glue, we recommend wiping with a dry cloth or using a standard paint thinner. Make sure to read and follow directions if using a paint thinner. Always wear gloves. Once the glue is dry, it is best removed mechanically: Try sanding, chiselling, scraping or picking. The dried glue will not damage tools.

For 2 oz. bottles, tightly replace the lid after wiping clean and store in a cool, dry place. For bottle sizes 4 oz. and larger, we suggest squeezing excess air out of the bottle. While still squeezing, tightly replace the cap and then store in a cool, dry place. This helps eliminate moisture in the bottle. You should expect a year shelf life.

Gorilla Gorilla Wood Glue Indoor and Outdoor Easy Applicator Bottle 532ml

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Gorilla Wood Glue is the adhesive that woodworkers, carpenters and hobbyists trust for their woodworking projects. Gorilla Wood Glue, a PVA glue, offers the benefits of an easy-to-use, water-based adhesive, with the holding power Gorilla is known for. The glue is incredibly water-resistant and dries a natural colour that offers an invisible bond line for your projects. Clamp Time: 20-30 Minutes // Open Time: 5-10 Minutes Dry Time: 80% in 1-2 Hours // Dry Color: Natural Wood Color Full Cure: 24 Hours Application For best results, it is essential that the wood surfaces are prepared prior to application of glue. For laminating, the surfaces should be planed smooth, leaving the board surface free from machine marks, tear-out and snipes. Also, be careful to avoid burnishing and end snipes. Just how much Gorilla Wood Glue to apply depends on many factors. In general, apply a generous amount of glue on one of the surfaces. On hard-to-glue woods, apply the glue on both surfaces. Rub together with the other surface to distribute the glue evenly on both surfaces. Enough glue should be applied so that a fine bead of glue squeeze-out will occur when clamping. Coverage: 1 gallon of Gorilla Wood Glue will cover about 200 square feet. 1 fluid ounce will cover approximately 1.6 square feet. Clamping The technique and type of clamp to be used are determined by many factors: the specific type of joint, type of stock or lumber, the moisture content of stock, room temperature, assembly time and surface quality. In general, apply enough pressure that will cause a fine bead of glue to squeeze out when the proper pressure is applied. Clamping Time (amount of time pressure needs to remain applied): 20–30 minutes for room temperature applications. The temperature must be above 55°F. Note that clamping time can be dependent on temperature, humidity, and the porosity of the wood. Cure Time (amount of time for glue to reach total bonding strength): 24 hours Clean Up Clean up while the glue is wet: Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe off excess glue. Make as many passes as needed with the clean area of the cloth to remove all the glue. When areas have completely dried, and as needed. Wash hands, skin and damp cloths with soap and warm water, then rinse. Clean up when the glue has dried: Use a sharp putty knife, razor, or sharp scraper to shave hardened glue from the surface, then sand as needed. Soak hands and skin in soap and warm water, wash, then rinse. Cleaning the bottle tip: Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe off excess glue after closing. If tip becomes clogged with dry glue, remove the cap and push the clog backwards with a toothpick, then rinse cap with warm water. To remove Gorilla Wood Glue from hands, wash with warm soap and water.

What is the temperature range for applying the glue? For best results, apply the glue at room temperature. Original Gorilla Glue should be left out of reach of children and animals. Can you speed up the curing process? Original Gorilla Glue should be clamped for 1–2 hours. During this time, it reaches 80% cure. Allow 24 hours for 100% cure. Note that cure time can vary depending on temperature, humidity and the porosity of the bonding materials. Is Gorilla Glue truly 100% waterproof? Yes. Gorilla Glue is 100% waterproof. It passes ANSI/HPVA Types I and II. How do I extend the shelf life of Gorilla Glue? Gorilla Glue is moisture activated. Once the adhesive comes in contact with moisture, it can start to harden. To extend the shelf life, always wipe lid and nozzle clean with a dry cloth and tightly replace the lid. My bottle of glue has formed a dry layer on top; can I still use it? Any glue that is still in liquid form is perfectly usable and reliable. If the dry layer is very thin, use a pointed tool to poke through it and carefully pull the dry layer through the cap. Do not microwave or heat your bottle of Gorilla Glue to soften the top layer. How do I clean up Gorilla Glue? Wipe off excess glue immediately with a dry cloth or standard paint thinner. Do not drag glue over material; instead, make small swipes to remove wet adhesive. Make sure you avoid skin contact. Cured glue can be removed with a chisel, scraper or sandpaper What is the proper clamp time? When using Original Gorilla Glue, clamp objects for 1–2 hours. For best results, leave overnight. What if I don’t have clamps? Gorilla Glue expands as it cures. To ensure the strongest bond, clamping pressure is needed. There are many different ways to clamp the surfaces, but keep in mind the stronger the pressure, the better the bond will be. Professional clamps are ideal, but if those aren’t handy, you can use heavy weight from bricks, books or even Gorilla Tape. The key is to ensure a tight-fitting glue line by applying even distribution of pressure. How much Gorilla Glue should I apply? Apply a thin layer of glue. A little bit goes a long way. As a general guide, use a ½ ounce per square foot. Be careful of uncured “squeeze-out” or wet glue, particularly on finished furniture. If you need to remove any squeeze-out, we recommend wiping with a dry cloth or using a standard paint thinner. Make sure you use the solvent with care in a well-ventilated area. Always wear gloves. Once the glue is dry, it is best removed mechanically: Try sanding, chiseling, scraping or picking. The dried glue will not damage tools. Visit our Gorilla Glue Directions page for more information. Why do I need to add moisture before gluing with Gorilla Glue? Gorilla Glue is moisture activated—this is what causes the chemical reaction in polyurethane adhesives. Therefore, you need to apply a small amount of moisture to one surface. Then apply glue to the dry surface and clamp. For dense hardwoods, lightly dampen both surfaces prior to gluing. Do I need to prepare the surface first? Make sure surfaces are clean and tight fitting. For smooth, shiny surfaces, such as metal and plastic, adhesion can be increased by sanding or abrading the surface. This gives Gorilla Glue more surface area to grip. Is Gorilla Glue really for the Toughest Jobs on Planet Earth? Gorilla Glue is an all-purpose adhesive. If used correctly, it will bond just about anything and for just about forever. It is free of solvents and fillers, which makes it strong and versatile. There are some surfaces and materials that are difficult to glue, such as certain plastics. Aside from a few of these materials, we are certain Gorilla Glue offers an extraordinary, waterproof bond on just about anything.

Elmer’s School Glue is adjustable before setting and does not run, delivering reliable results with every use. You can also use your liquid glue to create glue slime! Four 5-ounce bottle of Elmer's Clear Washable School Glue. How can I un-clog my glue cap and what’s the proper way to clean it? The glue caps can actually be taken apart to help remove any blockage. Simply open the cap as far as it will go and then pull the orange part straight up and it should "pop" off. This should allow you to easily access any blockage. The blockage can be cleared with something like a toothpick or paper clip. You can also soak these separated parts in room temperature water which should help to more easily free up any blockage. Once clear, the orange part can simply be pressed/snapped back into position. Watch the how-to un-clog a glue cap video for visual instructions. Is glue made from horses or other animals? No, Elmer's does not make glue from horses or use animals or animal parts. Elmer's products are made from synthetic materials and are not derived from processing horses, cows or any other animals. Why doesn't glue stick to inside of the bottle? As long as the glue remains inside the bottle away from air it will remain fluid. Glue hardens when there is a loss of water from the formula. Exposure to the atmosphere will cause the water to evaporate and make the glue harden. That's why it is important to keep the cap on the glue bottle closed to prevent hardening or drying out. I have a milk allergy. Are your products safe for me to use? Elmer's products are derived from synthetic materials, not any type of animal or milk protein. Of course, if you experience any kind of allergic reaction, be sure to check with your doctor regardless of the type of product you are using. How long can I keep glue? If stored properly and capped tightly, Elmer's school glues and wood glues have an average shelf life of 2 years. Krazy Glue, also known as a cyanoacrylate, has a shelf life of approximately 12 - 18 months. Is Elmer's glue gluten free? All of Elmer's products are gluten free except for the Elmer's Finger Paints. The finger paints contain wheat and oat products. Is Elmer's glue acid free? No. Most of Elmer's glues that are acid-free are labelled as such. Some of Elmer's most popular acid-free products include all of Elmer's glue stick, rubber cement and spray adhesive products.

Dunlop Dunlop Ready-Mixed Wall Tile Adhesive for Ceramic & Stone Tiles 5.5Kg

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

DUNLOP®WALL TILE ADHESIVE is a ready-mixed indoor wall tile adhesive. Ideal for all types of ceramic wall tiles and dimensional stones such as marble and granite, it can be used on a number of surfaces which include compressed fibre-cement sheets, plasterboard, cement render and adequately prepared painted surfaces (oil-based paint only). DUNLOP®WALL TILE ADHESIVE has superior flexibility and high grab to support even the heaviest of wall tiles. SURFACE PREPARATION Surfaces must be consistently flat and firmly fixed. Clean off dust, oil, grease and all loose contaminating materials or coatings. Ensure surfaces are dry, with no residue or permanent dampness. Prime porous surfaces (e.g. fibre- cement sheets, cement render) with DUNLOP®PRIMER & ADDITIVE beforehand and allow to dry. Cement Render Allow to cure for at least 7 days. Render should have a wood float finish. Plasterboard There is no need to prime the cardboard surface. However, where sheets are joined, DUNLOP®PRIMER & ADDITIVE must be used over the base jointing compound. Do not use the topping compound in areas which are to be tiled. Compressed Fibre-Cement Sheets Remove surface dust with a damp sponge and prime with DUNLOP®PRIMER & ADDITIVE and allow to dry before tiling. Painted Surfaces Oil-based paint should be roughened mechanically and loose flaking paint should be removed. Ensure the paint is suitable for tiling over. Thoroughly remove water-based paints. Do not use paint stripper or solvents. Allow surface to dry after cleaning. MIXING No mixing required. APPLICATION As a general guide use a 6mm notch trowel to spread adhesive achieving a minimum 1mm bed thickness. Do not wet tiles before fixing. If backs of tiles are dusty clean with a damp sponge. Spread the adhesive with the notches running horizontally across the wall. Spread only one square metre at a time and ensure a skin has not developed on the adhesive before bedding tiles. Press and slide the tile into position ensuring the whole of the back of the tile is in good contact with the adhesive. Use tile spacers if desired to ensure even spacing. Remove any surplus adhesive on face of tile or between joints before it sets. Adjustment of tiles should be carried out within 60 minutes of laying (at 23°C and 50% humidity). COVERAGE DUNLOP®WALL TILE ADHESIVE will cover approximately 0.5m2per kg. Coverage will vary depending on the condition of the surface being tiled and application technique. DRYING TIME DUNLOP®WALL TILE ADHESIVE will dry in approximately 24 hours depending on ambient temperature, porosity of surface and tiles. MOVEMENT JOINTS Incorporate movement joints at 3.5m intervals and at internal corners. Any structural movement joints must be carried through to the face of the tiling, at junctions between different background material and at fixtures interrupting the tile surface. These joints should be about 6mm wide and and kept free from adhesive. They should be filled with a high quality flexible material e.g. DUNLOP®COLOURED SILICONE. GROUTING Wait until adhesive has set. This takes approximately 24 hours. Remove tile spacers and use DUNLOP®GROUT adding DUNLOP®PRIMER AND ADDITIVE to enhance colour, impart a degree of flexibility and reduce porosity and staining. For easier maintenance seal with DUNLOP®GROUT SEALER. CLEAN UP While it is still fresh, DUNLOP®WALL TILE ADHESIVE can be cleaned off with a damp sponge. Tools, hands and material soiled with adhesive can be easily cleaned with water as long as the adhesive is still fresh. CAUTION Do not use DUNLOP®WALL TILE ADHESIVE to fix green marble. Do not use DUNLOP®WALL TILE ADHESIVE in continuous immersion applications e.g. swimming pools, tanks etc.. Do not use DUNLOP®WALL TILE ADHESIVE over non- absorbent substrates and waterproofing membranes due to prolonged drying times. PVA adhesive specially formulated for interior woodworking repairs and projects. White in colour, dries clear and cleans up easily with water. Features No mixing required – Ready to use straight from the pack Suitable for end grain gluing – won’t stain timber, white in colour, but dries clear. Non-toxic Dries Clear Cleans up with water Where can this product be used? School projects and craft Furniture repairs Repair a split trim Fix a broken photo frame Restoring furniture Fix a wobbly chair Gluing cupboard shelves for additional support Repairing a door frame or window Fix a wine rack Re-attach book cover/spine or repair torn bindings Fix a broken drawer Wooden toy repairs Craft projects Unsuitable for use on coated wallpaper overlaps eg vinyl Although Aquadhere is reasonably water resistant, it is not recommended for use in water or weather exposed situations or for any job where maximum water resistance is required (for weather exposed and/or wet areas we recommend Aquadhere exterior or Aquadhere Durabond). Will not take common timber stains Aquadhere is not recommended for joints that are subjected to constant high stress. Instead, use Selleys 308 High Stress wood glue. Do not use on projects that you need to be able to sand, as Aquadhere Interior is not sandable. Will not bond MDF, we recommend using Aquadhere Exterior What materials is this product suitable for? End grain gluing Craftwork Cloth Paper Mosaics Leather Other craft materials How to use this product Surfaces to be bonded must be close fitting, free from dust, dry and clean from grease. Shake bottle before use Apply adhesive liberally to one surface only, position surfaces and press together while still wet. Immediately clamp for 30 minutes for softwoods and 1 hour for hardwoods. Alternatively, low clamping pressures (50lbs/in2) can be used with softwoods; higher pressures are recommended for hardwoods (100 – 150lbs/in2). Do not stress joint for 12 hours. Wipe off excess adhesive while still wet with a damp cloth. If the wood is to be stained, any residual Aquadhere left on the timber surface may prevent the stain from taking to the wood. Maximum strength is achieved after 12 hours, but longer in cold, damp conditions, or when used on dense timbers. Cure slows significantly in humid, cold conditions. Clean all tools with water before adhesive is allowed to dry. If dry, soak in water until adhesive is soft. Handy tips 1L covers approx. 8m2 To fill small gaps, Aquadhere can be mixed with sawdust. Longer clamping times may be required for joints under high stress, or alternatively use Selleys 308 High Stress Wood Glue. Avoid contaminating Aquadhere with iron and steel, eg nails, etc. Aquadhere contaminated with rust (iron oxide) will stain brown/black in the presence of tannins in many woods. On very porous surfaces applying a thin layer to each side and allowing to soaking in before applying a second layer to one side only may result in a stronger bond Cured adhesive can be resoftened by prolonged contact with hot water or steam. Sanding isn’t an effective way to prepare for gluing, as it often leaves an uneven surface and may clog the timber which can stop the glue from penetrating and impact on your result. A straight router can be used to trim the edge, but be sure to only remove as much as required to obtain a suitable edge for gluing. If you are gluing over a larger surface, try using a small roller to aid in application. For cleaning surfaces prior to application of adhesive, if the surface is porous, we would recommend using SELLEYS Liquid Sugar Soap. If the surface is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with mineral turpentine and then again with methylated spirits. If there is old, difficult to remove residue such as old paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as SELLEYS Kwik Strip Smart. Ensure the surface is dry before applying the product. Keep a canister of SELLEYS Sugar Soap Wipes nearby for a quick and effective cleanup. Safety tips Aquadhere is considered a non-hazardous material. In case of eye contact, hold eye open and flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes. Storage and re-use For maximum shelf life store inside at moderate temperatures. Do not allow to freeze.

Durabond is moisture curing, high strength, polyurethane construction adhesive. It has high strength and water resistance making it excellent for jobs requiring extra durability, both interior and exterior.Durabond is sandable, paintable and stainable. It is suitable for bonding wood to almost anything. A superior adhesive, it is also excellent for bonding  Features Super Durable High Strength 100% waterproof* – *(not for permanent water immersion) Bonds wood to almost anything Acid & chemical Resistant – PVA’s break down with acid/alkaline contact Versatile can be used to bond surfaces other than wood Heat resistant up to 140 deg Generous working time (10 minutes) Expands as it dries Sandable – easy, will not clog sandpaper like other PVA emulsion glues Paintable Stainable after sanding The product is a brown liquid and turns a light yellow when fully cured Can be used for gap filling Can Also be used to bond surfaces other than wood I.e metal to metal Bonds MDF Non-Toxic (once fully cured) Where can this product be used? Interior and exterior Sauna or cabinet repairs in high heat areas Bonding Timber to other surfaces (metal etc) Cubby House with metal roof & floor lining Planter boxes Steps leading off a verandah Timber letterbox to a metal support frame Window frame Decorative timber to a pergola Interior panels of a boat Repairing wooden boat oars Repairing wooden handles on tools Timber joinery Laminating chopping boards Requires atmospheric moisture to cure, therefore use may be restricted in dry conditions (refer to tips for advice) Cannot be used if application temperature is below 5°C For best results, one surface should be porous Not suitable for below waterline applications or continuous submersion, for this we recommend Knead-It Aqua Not recommended for structural applications Not recommended for vertical projects due to runny consistency While Aquadhere Durabond can adhere to damp surfaces excess moisture can result in increased foaming and a weakened joint. Ensure tight clamping or weighting to reduce foaming Surfaces should be clamped tightly or weighted What materials is this product suitable for? MDF Glass Metal Concrete Ceramic Most plastics (will not adhere to polyethylene or polypropylene, test other plastics first). All timbers How to use this product Surfaces to be bonded must be close fitting, clean, dust and grease free. Wipe very dry porous surfaces with a damp cloth 1 minute before bonding. Apply a thin layer of adhesive evenly to one surface only. Glue expands and foams as it cures. Assemble parts together within 10 minutes and clamp firmly or weight to hold until cured. Wipe nozzle clean and seal container tightly. (to prevent remaining product from hardening in the container). Wipe away any excess adhesive immediately with acetone. After drying, any excess adhesive can only be removed by scraping, sanding, filing or cutting. Clean tools with acetone or white turpetine immediatly after use (before adhesive dries). Handy tips 1L covers approx. 8m2 It is advisable to wear gloves (adhesive bonds to skin and is extremely difficult to remove from skin). For bonding with smooth surface materials such as glass, plastics or metals, we suggested sanding or roughening the surface. The tighter you clamp, the better bond you will obtain (as Durabond expands). Wipe nozzle clean and seal container tightly. (to prevent remaining product from hardening in the container.) Wipe oily timber surfaces with acetone on a clean rag to remove any surface oils & allow to dry before applying adhesive. In extremely dry conditions or for extremely dry surfaces (eg terracotta) wipe surfaces with a damp rag prior to bonding to ensure sufficent moisture is present to cure product. Surfaces should not be wet. It is recommended to use the entire contents of a pack within 6 months of opening. Product may form a hard skin on the surface during this period. Usable material is normally still present beneath this skin and can be accessed by breaking the hardened layer. If glue comes in contact with hands, use acetone or white spirits to remove immediately and then rinse off with soapy water followed by hand creme. Alternatively wipe hands regularly while using Aquadhere Durabond. Once cured, adhesive is extremely difficult to remove from skin. If cured material is discovered on the skin, then rub vegetable oil or Vitamin E cream into the area repeatedly to accelerate the natural process of the skin shedding, which will in turn cause the cured product to fall off. Safety tips Contains organic isocyanate polymers. On contact, uncured adhesive can irritate eyes. If in eyes, flood the eyes for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice. Avoid contact with skin, if contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing or flush skin and hair with running water. Avoid breathing vapours. Ensure use in a well-ventilated area. Product releases methyl ethyl ketoxime while curing. For advice, contact a Poisons Information Centre (AUS 131 126; NZ 0800 764 766) or a doctor. Warning: this product contains organic isocyanate polymers. This product has been classified as hazardous according to the criteria of NOHSC and HSNO. For further detail on the safe use of this product, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet, which can be downloaded from this site. Keep away from children. Storage and re-use Clean tools with acetone or white spirit immediately after use (before adhesive dried). Storage – For maximum shelf life store inside at moderate temperatures in dry conditions. Keep tightly closed to prevent moisture and air contact. It is recommended to use the entire contents of a pack within 6 months of opening. Product may form a hard skin on the surface during this period. Usable material is normally still present beneath this skin and can be accessed by breaking the hardened layer.materials other than wood.
