The best way to achieve this is to rub the parts a number of times with appropriate solvents, such as acetone (if suitable for the material – check first!). For metals and metal alloys it is usually sufficient to roughen the surface using emery paper or by grinding or brushing. DURING USE: Directions for use 1. To pierce the membrane, turn the cap clockwise firmly onto the tube. Tip: do not press the tube while piercing. 2. Unscrew the cap to reveal the applicator. Apply the adhesive directly from the tube, using the nozzle, as thinly as possible onto one side (too much glue slows down the curing process significantly). Press parts together immediately. After use, clean nozzle with a dry tissue and replace cap. Advice When glueing at low humidity, curing time can be shortened by briefly breathing onto one of the parts to be assembled. SikaBond® -TechGrip is a high strength multipurpose, polyurethane glue that provides a super strong bond to almost any substrate and is ideal for woodworking and project work. Uses SikaBond® -TechGrip can be used on most substrates due to its excellent adhesion.
