Surface Preparation: All surfaces must be clean, dry, and structurally sound. Remove dust, oil, grease, wax, and loose or flaking material. Smooth, glossy surfaces should be roughened or etched. Rough or uneven surfaces should be patched and leveled. Mechanically remove any surface contamination or de-bonded coatings for optimal adhesion. Priming (if required): Use a compatible primer on highly porous, glossy, or damp surfaces to promote adhesion. Ensure primed surfaces are dry before applying the membrane. Application Instructions: Apply a bond breaker system such as joint tape or fabric to corners, joints, and penetrations.
