All timbers How to use this product Surfaces to be bonded must be close fitting, clean, dust and grease free. Wipe very dry porous surfaces with a damp cloth 1 minute before bonding. Apply a thin layer of adhesive evenly to one surface only. Glue expands and foams as it cures. Assemble parts together within 10 minutes and clamp firmly or weight to hold until cured. Wipe nozzle clean and seal container tightly. (to prevent remaining product from hardening in the container). Wipe away any excess adhesive immediately with acetone. After drying, any excess adhesive can only be removed by scraping, sanding, filing or cutting. Clean tools with acetone or white turpetine immediatly after use (before adhesive dries). If the surface is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with mineral turpentine and then again with methylated spirits. If there is old, difficult to remove residue such as old paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as SELLEYS Kwik Strip Smart. Ensure the surface is dry before applying the product. If glue comes in contact with hands, use acetone or white spirits to remove immediately and then rinse off with soapy water followed by hand creme. Alternatively wipe hands regularly while using Aquadhere Durabond. Once cured, adhesive is extremely difficult to remove from skin. If cured material is discovered on the skin, then rub vegetable oil or Vitamin E cream into the area repeatedly to accelerate the natural process of the skin shedding, which will in turn cause the cured product to fall off.
