Description
Berger Jet Dry True Grip Clear is a colourless slip resistant additive that you mix into Berger Jet Dry concrete, paving and stone paints and sealers, supplied here as a pre-measured 300g pack. It gives coated surfaces extra traction without changing the colour of the paint or sealer, which makes it a handy upgrade for any area that gets slippery when wet.
About the formula
The additive is a clear polymeric bead material. One 300g pack is pre-measured to treat 10 litres of paint or sealer, so there is no weighing or guesswork. Because it is colourless, it will not tint or alter the finish of the coating it is mixed into. When applied as directed, it achieves a minimum P4 slip rating when tested to AS 4586:2013.
Where to use it
Indoors: interior floors that are coated with a compatible Berger Jet Dry product and need extra grip.
Outdoors: pool surrounds, sloping paths, outside steps, paving, patios, driveways, carports and garage floors.
Suitable for use with all Berger Jet Dry concrete, paving and stone paints and sealers.
How to use it
Add the contents of the pack to 10 litres of your Berger Jet Dry paint or sealer and mix it through thoroughly so the beads are evenly spread. Apply the treated coating to a clean, properly prepared surface following the directions on the pack and on the paint or sealer label. Check the label for any recommended mixing during application so the beads stay evenly distributed.
Important notes
The slip rating is achieved only when the additive is used as directed, so stick to the pre-measured 10 litre dose. Use only with Berger Jet Dry concrete, paving and stone paints and sealers. Paths and paved areas can still be slippery when wet, and the additive reduces this risk rather than removing it. Drying and recoat times depend on the paint or sealer you mix it into, so refer to that product's label.

Safety
It is a combustible material. Recommended protective gear is overalls, gloves, safety glasses, safety shoes and a dust mask, with natural ventilation normally adequate. Skin and eye contact may cause irritation, and swallowing large amounts may cause nausea and vomiting. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place out of direct sunlight, away from heat and ignition sources, with the container closed when not in use.
