Description
Dunlop Easy Clean Epoxy Grout is a high-performance, durable epoxy grout with superior stain resistance that stands up to most household chemicals. Unlike traditional epoxies it is genuinely easy to use and clean during application, and just as easy to maintain afterwards. It also contains Grout Shield, a powerful mould inhibitor that resists the growth of mould and bacteria, keeping joints looking better for longer.
Where to use it
Ideal for areas subject to high wear and for spaces where strict hygiene matters - kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and swimming pools. Use it indoors and outdoors on walls and floors with ceramic, porcelain, vitrified tiles, mosaics and non-moisture-sensitive natural stone. It fills joints from 1.5mm up to 15mm wide.
How to use
The kit comes in three parts: Part A resin, Part B hardener and Part C coloured filler, mixed at approximately 2 : 1 : 5-7 by volume. Mix only what you can use within the working time, work the grout firmly into clean, dry joints with an epoxy float, then emulsify and clean the surface promptly with a lightly damp sponge before the epoxy sets. Finish by polishing the tiles once dry. Mix part-kits accurately if you split the kit across sessions.
Important notes
Epoxy grout sets chemically, so cleaning off residue promptly is essential - hardened epoxy is very difficult to remove from tile faces. Coverage varies with tile size and joint dimensions; as a guide a kit does approximately 8m² of 200 x 200 x 8mm tiles at 3mm joints.
