Description
Dunlop Tiler's Mastic is a premium non-slump tile adhesive for walls and floors from Dunlop Trade (ARDEX Australia). Built for the demands of modern tiling, its high-grab, non-slump formula is ideal for today's large format tiles, holding them exactly where you place them on walls while still spreading smoothly and easily on floors. As a C2TES1 classified adhesive it offers extended open time, slip resistance and deformability for a strong, flexible bond.
Where to use it
Suitable for indoor and outdoor walls and floors, including wet areas over Dunlop Waterproofing. It fixes ceramic, porcelain, non-moisture sensitive natural stone, fully vitrified, mosaic and translucent tiles over cement render, compressed fibre-cement sheet (floors), concrete, Dunlop Undertile Waterproofing, existing ceramic tiles, ceramic tile underlay, fibre-cement sheet (walls) and plasterboard.
How to use
Mix the powder with clean water to a smooth, creamy paste. Trowel onto a clean, dry, sound substrate with a 6 x 6 x 6mm notched trowel for walls or a 10 x 10 x 10mm notched trowel for floors and large tiles. Bed tiles with a firm twisting action, checking contact coverage regularly. Grout after approximately 24 hours.
Important notes
Not suitable for moisture sensitive natural stone. Ensure substrates are properly prepared and primed where required, and avoid tiling in extreme temperatures.
