Description
Dunlop Trade Resaflex is a multipurpose, rubber modified tile adhesive from Dunlop Trade (ARDEX Australia), trusted by professional tilers for decades. Its rubber modified cement formulation delivers a strong yet flexible bond that tolerates normal building movement, and its C2S1 classification confirms improved adhesion and deformability. One bag covers a wide range of everyday tiling jobs, which is exactly why it has earned its multipurpose name.
Where to use it
Suitable for indoor and outdoor walls and floors. Use it to fix ceramic tiles, fully vitrified tiles, mosaics, porcelain and natural stone (excluding moisture sensitive stone) over compressed fibre-cement sheet floors, concrete floors, fibre-cement sheet walls, Dunlop Undertile Waterproofing, plasterboard and render. It can also be used over Dunlop Waterproofing and green screed, making it well suited to bathrooms and new-build wet areas.
How to use
Mix the powder with clean water to a smooth, lump-free paste. Spread onto a clean, dry, sound substrate with a 6-8mm notched trowel for tiles up to 250 x 250mm, or a 10-12mm notched trowel for larger tiles. Bed each tile with a firm twisting action to achieve full contact, and lift a tile occasionally to check coverage. Allow the adhesive to cure before grouting.
Important notes
Not suitable for moisture sensitive natural stone. Only mix what can be used within the working time and never re-temper stiffened adhesive with extra water.
