Description
The Dunlop Wooden Float is crafted from hard-wearing European Beechwood, giving it the slightly open texture that renderers and concreters rely on to close up, flatten and evenly finish freshly applied surfaces. Combined with Dunlop's comfortable ErgoGrip handle, it is a simple, durable tool that helps you work render, concrete and screed to a consistent, professional standard without hand fatigue.
Where to use it
Use the wooden float for rubbing up and finishing renders on walls, smoothing concrete slabs and paths, and levelling floor screeds. The timber face is particularly good at bringing render to an even, uniform texture before a final sponge or steel-trowel pass, making it a staple for rendering, concreting and general masonry work indoors and outdoors.

Care
Rinse render and concrete off the timber face before it hardens, then allow the float to air-dry fully before storing. Avoid soaking the float for long periods, as excess water can swell or warp the timber. Store it flat in a dry spot away from direct heat.
