Description
Pinnacle Hardware Red Thread Locker is a high strength, permanent locking liquid made for larger fasteners from 9.5 to 25mm, supplied here as a single 10ml bottle. It is designed to stop studs, screws and other fasteners working loose under vibration and movement, so it suits workshop, home and site jobs where a fastener needs to stay put.
About the formula
A red, high strength thread locking liquid that gives a permanent hold once set. The manufacturer says it sets in a matter of minutes and helps protect fasteners from the shocks and vibration that normally loosen them. It also adds a protective barrier against rust and other corrosive materials. Where to use it

How to use it
Apply the thread locker to the hole before installing your screw or fastener, then fit the fastener as normal. It sets within minutes to give a permanent lock. Because the lock is permanent, plan for the fastener to stay in place and only use it where you do not need to adjust or remove it later.
Important notes
This is a high strength permanent lock, not a removable one, so choose a lower strength thread locker for fasteners you need to service regularly. It is intended for larger fasteners (9.5 to 25mm), so it is not the right choice for small precision screws. Full strength and cure times are not published by the manufacturer, so allow a generous cure period before putting the assembly under heavy load. Recap the bottle after use.
