Description
Sika Multi-Use Wonder Wipes are a tub of 100 ready-to-use cleaning wipes made for tradies and DIYers who need to clean up hands, tools and surfaces on the job, especially when there is no water on site. They are designed to lift wet and semi-cured mess from a wide range of building products, so you can wipe up and get back to work.
About the formula
These are pre-moistened wipes designed to cut through tough site grime. Sika states they include an anti-bacterial additive that has been independently lab tested to EN 1276 (chemical disinfectants and antiseptics). They also contain aloe vera, which is there to condition the skin and help prevent dryness and cracking with frequent use.
Where to use it
On hands: wiping away wet paint, sealant, adhesive, foam, oil and grease between tasks when a tap or basin is not handy.
On tools and surfaces: cleaning brushes, applicators, trowels, caulking guns and finished surfaces while the mess is still wet or only partly cured.
Sika lists these wipes for removing wet and semi-cured paint, sealant, adhesive, bitumen, polyurethane, expanding foam, polyester filler, epoxy, oil, grease and silicone from hands, tools and surfaces.
How to use it
Remove the lid and open the closure, then find the starter wipe in the centre of the roll. Pull out roughly a foot of wipe, thread it through the lid opening and snap the lid back on, resealing the closure. When you need a wipe, pull through the amount required and close the lid straight away so the remaining wipes do not dry out.
Important notes
The wipes are intended for wet or semi-cured product. Fully cured material will need to be removed another way. Do not use on porous surfaces such as untreated timber. Do not flush used wipes down the toilet. Keep the wipes in their original tub. Use within 36 months of the manufacture date and within 6 months of opening. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
