How It Works
This liquid cyanoacrylate reacts with trace moisture on surfaces to polymerise rapidly, forming a high-strength thermoplastic bond. The medium viscosity helps wet out tight-fitting parts while minimising run-off when applied sparingly.
Before You Start
Surface prep: Ensure both surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, rust, release agents or old adhesive. Lightly abrade glossy plastics/metal where appropriate and wipe clean.
Dry fit first: Check alignment, clamping and support so parts come together quickly and accurately.
Protect work area: Use disposable backing and keep caps, tissues and a small amount of acetone or nail-polish remover handy for cleanup.
Application (Liquid)
Open: For first use, attach/screw the nozzle and remove the cap.
Apply a tiny amount: Place a small drop on one surface only. More glue can slow cure and weaken the joint.
Assemble: Bring parts together immediately and hold with firm, even pressure for ~20 seconds. Avoid movement during initial set.
Let it cure: Handling strength develops quickly; allow 24 hours for full cure and maximum performance.
Clean-Up & Rework
Fresh squeeze-out: Wipe carefully. Small residues may be treated with acetone/nail-polish remover and gently scraped once softened.
On skin: Do not pull apart. Soak in warm, soapy water and gently roll/peel. Use a blunt tool (e.g., spoon handle) to separate bonded skin slowly.

How do I use on a stain in my toilet?

How long should I leave CLR on the stain for?
We recommend you do not leave on the stain for longer than a few minutes. Do not leave CLR on the stain and walk away from it. Always rinse thoroughly.

How do you use CLR?

Mixing:
Mix 5kg of powder with approximately 1.4–1.5L of clean water using a mechanical mixer until a smooth, lump-free paste is formed. Allow it to stand for 5 minutes before remixing. Do not add more water after mixing.
Application:
Apply the adhesive with a notched trowel over an area no larger than can be tiled within the open time. Firmly press tiles into the adhesive bed with a twisting motion to ensure full contact. Back-buttering may be necessary for large tiles or uneven substrates.
Coverage:
Approximately 1.5–1.75m² per 5kg bag using a 10mm notch trowel.
Drying Time:
Tiles can generally be grouted after 24 hours. Allow 2 days before exposure to water in wet areas and 21 days for submerged areas like pools.
Clean-up:
Clean tools and excess adhesive with water before it sets. Once cured, adhesive must be removed mechanically.

Surface Preparation:

Dunlop Damp-Proof Waterproofing is an acrylic brush-on membrane designed to prevent rising damp, efflorescence, and resist negative hydrostatic pressure. It adheres excellently to substrates including brick, masonry, concrete block, concrete, stone, and timber, and can be easily applied using a brush or roller. Once cured, it can be overcoated with most decorative paints.
Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are structurally sound and free from existing coatings, adhesives, and efflorescence to achieve maximum bond strength and resistance to hydrostatic pressure. Surfaces may be damp but not wet and must be cleaned free of dirt, grease, oil, or other contaminants. Fill holes and non-structural cracks with a suitable floor repairer before application.
Application Instructions:
For Floors: Spread the material using a brush or long nap roller to achieve coverage, then finish with a long nap roller.
For Walls: Apply using a brush, roller, or spray, ensuring even coverage.
Work the material into voids to avoid pinholing.
For areas affected by hydrostatic pressure, apply a minimum of two coats. The second coat can be applied after 4 hours. Ensure uniform coverage and the required dry film thickness per coat.
Coverage:
Single Coat: Approximately 3m² per litre, per coat, when used as a barrier to efflorescence or as a moisture-resistant coating over green concrete.
Multiple Coats: For areas with hydrostatic pressure, two coats are required at a coverage rate of 1.5m² per litre per coat. Additional coats may be necessary to achieve uniform coverage.
Drying Time: Allow the membrane to cure for 24 hours before applying adhesives, mortars, decorative coatings, or other surface treatments. Ensure the membrane is not damaged during subsequent treatments. For floor surfaces, allow the final coating to cure for at least 24 hours before further treatment to minimize the risk of mechanical damage.
Clean Up: Wash all equipment with water or a water/detergent mixture immediately after use.

It’s suitable for use under tile adhesives, screeds, and other flooring products. The product forms a tough, elastomeric layer that resists movement, cracking, and water penetration. It meets the requirements of Class III membranes and is suitable for both floor and wall applications.
Surface Preparation:
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and structurally sound. Remove dust, grease, oil, curing compounds, and loose or flaking materials. Prime all surfaces using a compatible primer. On porous or highly absorbent surfaces, apply a second primer coat if needed. Any existing cracks, gaps, or joints should be sealed or reinforced using bond breakers or reinforcing fabric.
Application Instructions:
Apply the membrane using a brush or roller.
Two coats are required for effective waterproofing.
First coat should be applied in one direction.
Once dry to the touch (approx. 2 hours), apply the second coat in the opposite direction.
Membrane should extend at least 150mm up walls in general wet areas and 1.8m in shower recesses.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Ensure the surface is consistently flat, firmly fixed, and free of dust, oil, grease, or other contaminants. All surfaces must be clean and dry with no residual moisture or permanent dampness. Prime porous substrates with DUNLOP PRIMER & ADDITIVE or DUNLOP MULTIPURPOSE PRIMER.
Concrete Floors
Concrete must have a wood float finish and be fully cured (min. 4 weeks). Screeds should be at least 7 days old. Remove sealers, curing compounds, or any laitance by mechanical means. Roughen steel trowel finishes to ensure bonding.
Cement Screeded Floors
Ensure screeds are properly cured and level, finishing with a wood float. New screeds must cure for at least 7 days before tiling.
Compressed Fibre-Cement Sheets
Install according to the manufacturer's instructions, ensuring the surface is clean. Priming is recommended.
Existing Tiles (indoors only)
Ensure tiles are stable and roughen their surfaces by mechanical means, removing at least 80% of the glaze.
MIXING
Mix the adhesive by adding powder to water. Use approx. 400ml of water per 1kg of powder. Stir to a thick, creamy consistency using a mechanical mixer, let stand for 5 minutes, and re-stir. The mixture is usable for 2.5 hours depending on temperature.
APPLICATION
Tile installation should comply with AS3958.1 standards. Use a notched trowel (10mm for floors) to apply. Spread adhesive over 1m² sections to avoid skinning before tile bedding. Ensure full coverage by pressing tiles at right angles to the adhesive. Large tiles or those with deep keys may require back buttering.
Remove excess adhesive from joints and surfaces before the adhesive sets. Allow at least 24 hours for the adhesive to cure before grouting.
DRYING TIMES & GROUTING
Grouting can begin after 24 hours at 23°C and 50% humidity. For larger tiles or humid climates, extend drying time. Use DUNLOP COLOURED GROUT or DUNLOP WIDE JOINT GROUT for joints wider than 8mm.
MOVEMENT JOINTS
Follow AS3958 standards for movement joints. Ensure joints are present at 3–5m intervals and around the perimeter. Keep joints approx. 6mm wide and fill with a flexible material like DUNLOP COLOURED SILICONE.
COVERAGE
Coverage varies based on substrate and trowel size:
10mm trowel: approx. 0.4m² per kg
For example:
4kg covers approx. 1.6m².
CLEAN UP
Clean tools and spills with water immediately after use.
SHELF LIFE
12 months if stored in original, unopened packaging at 23°C and 50% relative humidity.
PRECAUTIONS
Not suitable for continuous immersion (e.g. pools). Use DUNLOP TILE-ALL for these applications.
Avoid use on timber or non-absorbent substrates (e.g. metal).
Ensure proper PPE is worn during preparation and application.
