FAQs
Is Gorilla Mounting Tape food safe?
No. It is not recommended for direct or indirect food contact.
How do I remove Gorilla Mounting Tape?
This is a permanent tape and may cause surface damage on removal. First remove the mounted object by gently prying from a corner. Then slowly stretch the tape parallel to the surface to lift it away.
Will it work on plastic, vinyl, or rubber?
It adheres to many plastics, but not to low surface energy plastics such as polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), and may not adhere to certain rubbers with high oil or plasticizer content.
How do I remove the liner?
After applying tape to the object, lift the clear liner from a corner using a fingernail, the edge of packaging, or a blade. You can also pinch and stretch a corner of the tape at about a 40 degree angle until the liner lifts.
Always clean and dry surfaces before application. Test first on delicate surfaces. Not recommended for wallpaper, poorly bonded paint, or other fragile finishes.

The product that started it all. Original Gorilla Glue built a name for itself with its incredible, industrial holding power and versatility. Water activated, it expands into materials to form an incredibly strong bond to virtually anything. Gorilla Glue is your solution for almost any project or repair. It’s 100% waterproof, safe for indoor and outdoor use and strong enough to stand up to the elements. Plus, its expansion allows it to penetrate the glued surface for a superior bond. Sand it, paint it, stain it. Simply stated, it’s the Toughest Glue on Planet Earth.
Directions
Prepare and Dampen the Surfaces
If you’re using Original Gorilla Glue for the first time, or bonding a new type of material, we always recommend trying a test piece first.
Prepare your surfaces: All surfaces must be clean, dust free and tight fitting. For shiny surfaces, such as metals, glass and some plastics, roughen up the material to give the glue something to bite into.
Damp It: Lightly dampen one surface with water. We recommend using a damp cloth or spraying with water. Do not saturate the surface. For dense hardwoods, lightly dampen both surfaces prior to gluing.
Evenly Apply Gorilla Glue Onto the Dry Surface
Glue It: Carefully apply onto the dry surface. Do not over apply. We recommend wearing gloves or spreading the glue with a disposable brush. In some instances, Gorilla Glue can be a skin sensitizer. If you are predisposed to skin reactions, please take the extra precaution.
If you do get the glue on your skin, try removing it with a dry cloth or paper towel first (particularly if the glue is still tacky). If that doesn’t work, try washing with soap and cold water, or using an exfoliator with a gritty texture. Dry your skin and apply lotion. We do not recommend using any kind of alcohol or acetone. This actually strips the skin of its natural oils, which means the glue is more likely to stick.
Clamp the Two Surfaces Together Tightly
Clamp It: Make sure the clamping pressure is distributed evenly across the surface. Or, if you don’t have a clamp, use heavy objects or Gorilla Tape® to achieve the appropriate clamping pressure. For lighter objects, try using rubber bands to hold the pieces together tightly. Clamp objects for 1–2 hours. For best results, allow 24 hours to cure.
Clean up
If you need to remove any uncured “squeeze out” or wet glue, we recommend wiping with a dry cloth or using a standard paint thinner. Make sure to read and follow directions if using a paint thinner. Always wear gloves. Once the glue is dry, it is best removed mechanically: Try sanding, chiseling, scraping or picking. The dried glue will not damage tools.
Storage Tips
After each use, wipe the bottle’s lid and nozzle clean with a dry cloth. For 2 oz. bottles, tightly replace the lid after wiping clean and store in a cool, dry place. For bottle sizes 4 oz. and larger, we suggest squeezing excess air out of the bottle. While still squeezing, tightly replace the cap and then store in a cool, dry place. This helps eliminate moisture in the bottle. You should expect a year shelf life.
What is the temperature range for applying the glue?
For best results, apply the glue at room temperature.
Original Gorilla Glue should be left out of reach of children and animals.
Can you speed up the curing process?
Original Gorilla Glue should be clamped for 1–2 hours. During this time, it reaches 80% cure. Allow 24 hours for 100% cure. Note that cure time can vary depending on temperature, humidity and the porosity of the bonding materials.
Is Gorilla Glue truly 100% waterproof?
Yes. Gorilla Glue is 100% waterproof. It passes ANSI/HPVA Types I and II.
How do I extend the shelf life of Gorilla Glue?
Gorilla Glue is moisture activated. Once the adhesive comes in contact with moisture, it can start to harden. To extend the shelf life, always wipe lid and nozzle clean with a dry cloth and tightly replace the lid.
My bottle of glue has formed a dry layer on top; can I still use it?
Any glue that is still in liquid form is perfectly usable and reliable. If the dry layer is very thin, use a pointed tool to poke through it and carefully pull the dry layer through the cap.
Do not microwave or heat your bottle of Gorilla Glue to soften the top layer.
How do I clean up Gorilla Glue?
Wipe off excess glue immediately with a dry cloth or standard paint thinner. Do not drag glue over material; instead, make small swipes to remove wet adhesive. Make sure you avoid skin contact. Cured glue can be removed with a chisel, scraper or sandpaper
What is the proper clamp time?
When using Original Gorilla Glue, clamp objects for 1–2 hours. For best results, leave overnight.
What if I don’t have clamps?
Gorilla Glue expands as it cures. To ensure the strongest bond, clamping pressure is needed. There are many different ways to clamp the surfaces, but keep in mind the stronger the pressure, the better the bond will be. Professional clamps are ideal, but if those aren’t handy, you can use heavy weight from bricks, books or even Gorilla Tape. The key is to ensure a tight-fitting glue line by applying even distribution of pressure.
How much Gorilla Glue should I apply?
Apply a thin layer of glue. A little bit goes a long way. As a general guide, use a ½ ounce per square foot. Be careful of uncured “squeeze-out” or wet glue, particularly on finished furniture. If you need to remove any squeeze-out, we recommend wiping with a dry cloth or using a standard paint thinner. Make sure you use the solvent with care in a well-ventilated area. Always wear gloves. Once the glue is dry, it is best removed mechanically: Try sanding, chiseling, scraping or picking. The dried glue will not damage tools.
Visit our Gorilla Glue Directions page for more information.
Why do I need to add moisture before gluing with Gorilla Glue?
Gorilla Glue is moisture activated—this is what causes the chemical reaction in polyurethane adhesives. Therefore, you need to apply a small amount of moisture to one surface. Then apply glue to the dry surface and clamp. For dense hardwoods, lightly dampen both surfaces prior to gluing.
Do I need to prepare the surface first?
Make sure surfaces are clean and tight fitting. For smooth, shiny surfaces, such as metal and plastic, adhesion can be increased by sanding or abrading the surface. This gives Gorilla Glue more surface area to grip.
Is Gorilla Glue really for the Toughest Jobs on Planet Earth?
Gorilla Glue is an all-purpose adhesive. If used correctly, it will bond just about anything and for just about forever. It is free of solvents and fillers, which makes it strong and versatile. There are some surfaces and materials that are difficult to glue, such as certain plastics. Aside from a few of these materials, we are certain Gorilla Glue offers an extraordinary, waterproof bond on just about anything.

FAQS
Why isn’t my bottle of Gorilla Super Glue filled to the top?
For high performance and usability, the adhesive needs to be protected from air. One way to keep the air out of the adhesive is by packaging in thick plastic bottles. If the thicker plastic bottle was completely full of adhesive, it would be too hard to squeeze the glue out of the bottle.
How is Gorilla Super Glue different than Gorilla Glue?
Gorilla Super Glue is a cyanoacrylate adhesive, while Gorilla Glue is a polyurethane. Unlike Gorilla Glue, Gorilla Super Glue does not require extended clamp time or moisture to activate. It does not foam during set up. In addition, Gorilla Super Glue is recommended primarily for indoor applications only and is ideal for smaller repairs that require an instant bond and projects where clamping is not needed.
What does Impact Tough mean?
Gorilla Super Glue is designed with a reinforced formula to handle bumps and drops with a strong, reliable bond.
Will Gorilla Super Glue bond plastic/vinyl/rubber?
Gorilla Super Glue has been engineered to achieve excellent results on difficult to bond substrates. It is formulated to bond a wide range of similar and dissimilar materials including most plastics, metals, elastomers, wood, and porous surfaces. Gorilla Super Glue requires some absorbed moisture on the bonding surfaces to cure. Certain difficult to bond plastics, such as polyethylene and polypropylene, have little to no moisture and will not form good bonds.
How do I remove Gorilla Super Glue from body/skin or separate bonded body/skin?
To remove Gorilla Super Glue from your skin, soak the bonded area in warm, soapy water. Acetone may also be used according to the solvent manufacturer’s instructions (fingernail polish remover works well). The key is to be patient and NEVER pull the area apart. Gently wiggle the bonded area to allow the soapy water or acetone to penetrate the bond. After soaking, the adhesive should come off easily. Keep in mind that acetone can strip your skin of oils, so apply moisturiser after removal.
How do I remove Gorilla Super Glue from my surface?
To remove uncured Gorilla Super Glue, use a towel dampened with acetone or isopropyl alcohol to blot the area. Several applications may be necessary to completely remove the uncured glue. For removal of cured Gorilla Super Glue from the surface of your project, soak bonded area with warm soapy water or acetone. The adhesive should begin to soften, but many applications may be necessary. Keep in mind that isopropyl alcohol and acetone can damage some surface materials, such as countertops and some plastics. Always test in a small, unseen area first.
Is Gorilla Super Glue food safe?
Gorilla Super Glue is not intended for any application with direct or indirect food contact and should not be stored near food or in the refrigerator. Gorilla Super Glue contains no solvents, but has a strong odor. To avoid irritation, use in areas that have adequate air movement and ventilation.
What should I do if I think a human or animal ingested Gorilla Super Glue?
Additional product safety and first aid information can be found here.
How is Gorilla Super Glue Gel different than liguid Gorilla Super Glue?
Gorilla Super Glue Gel is a thicker and more controllable formula than Gorilla Super Glue. It’s great for projects where precision is key.
Why do I need to shake and tap the bottle?
Since Gorilla Super Glue Gel is a thicker formula than a liquid super glue, shaking the bottle pushes the glue to the tip of the bottle. This allows for an easy and controlled dispensing.

Gorilla Tape has taken duct tape to a new level. Gorilla Tape's toughness surpasses ordinary tapes, making the list of uses virtually endless. Made with double thick adhesive, strong reinforced backing, and a tough all-weather shell, it’s the biggest, strongest, toughest thing ever to happen to tape. It sticks to rough and uneven surfaces, including wood, stone, stucco and brick, that ordinary tapes can't hold. To us, it’s made the way tape should be: The Toughest on Planet Earth.
Directions
Use like any other tape. Tear Gorilla Tape by hand or cut to size with a knife or scissors. Apply the tape carefully, smoothing out any pockets or rolls. That’s it. Enjoy the strength and durability of Gorilla Tape!
Does freezing/thawing affect Gorilla Tape?
No, if Gorilla Tape freezes, it will work just fine once it returns to room temperature.
What temperature range does Gorilla Tape require?
Gorilla Tape works best at temperatures above 32°F (0°C). For best results, always apply the tape at room temperature.
How do I store Gorilla Tape?
To retain adhesive quality, store Gorilla Tape in a cool, dry place. Keep out of direct sunlight. Try storing the tape vertically (rather than laying flat), on a hook or on wax paper. If you have multiple rolls, keep your excess supply wrapped until they’re needed.
Can I remove Gorilla Tape?
Gorilla Tape can be removed, but with some difficulty and it may leave some residue. To remove any excess residue, we recommend using the tape itself as a blotter.
How do I use Gorilla Tape?
Surfaces should be clean and dust-free. We recommend rubbing the tape into the surface. This will help achieve a better bond.

Gorilla Ultimate Strong Wood Glue 532 mL is a reliable high performance wood glue for interior and exterior carpentry chosen for home repairs, trade work, and craft builds when you want a bond you can trust. Designed for Australian conditions, it balances strength, ease of use, and clean application so you can get professional results without special tools. The 532 mL pack is ideal for general work and keeps neatly in a toolbox or caddy.
Why choose Gorilla Ultimate for your next project
Everyday jobs often involve mixed materials and imperfect surfaces. Gorilla Ultimate Strong Wood Glue 532 mL has been formulated to wet out well, grab quickly, and cure to a tough finish that resists movement and contact stress. It maintains bond integrity across common temperature swings and has dependable resistance to moisture and most household chemicals. Whether you are fixing, building, sealing, or assembling, this product gives you confidence from first squeeze through final set.
Best for
Furniture build and repair
Edge bonding and laminations
Cabinetry and joinery where water resistance is valued
Suitable surfaces
The adhesive works well on the following surface types when properly prepared:
Hardwoods and softwoods
Plywood and MDF
Veneers and end grain with correct technique
Surface preparation
Good preparation is the key to a long lasting repair. Remove loose material, dust, and grease. Wipe glossy areas with methylated spirits or an approved cleaner and allow to dry. On very smooth plastics and metals, lightly roughen with fine abrasive paper to give the adhesive a mechanical key. Dry fit parts first and mark alignment points so you can assemble accurately within the open time. If bonding porous materials, ensure both faces are dry and free of surface chalking.
How to use
Check fit and plan clamping. Do a trial run without adhesive so you know the order of steps.
Apply a thin, continuous bead to one surface. For wide pieces, use a zig zag pattern to maximise wetting.
Bring surfaces together within the stated open time of typically 5 to 10 minutes depending on temperature. Reseat once if needed, then hold steady.
Apply even pressure using clamps, tape, weights, or temporary fasteners. Avoid squeezing all adhesive out of the joint.
Allow to cure undisturbed. Initial handling strength will develop as the adhesive sets, with a full cure reached based on the chemistry described below.
Cure profile
Open time allows assembly before clamping. Forms a strong cross linked bond that is water resistant when fully cured.
Temperature and environmental performance
Use above 10 C and avoid freezing conditions while curing. Avoid application to very cold, sweating, or waterlogged surfaces. For outdoor use protect fresh bonds from rain until the skin has formed and the core has progressed in cure. Once fully cured, the bond resists normal weathering, splash water, and intermittent UV exposure based on the substrate and paint systems used.
Clean up and finishing
Wipe squeeze out with a damp cloth while wet. Scrape or sand once cured. When cured, excess can be carefully trimmed or sanded. For painted finishes, allow the adhesive to fully cure before priming. Test paint on a small area to confirm compatibility and drying behaviour.
Coverage guide
Coverage varies with bead size, surface porosity, and technique. As a general guide, a 3 mm bead yields approximately 10 to 12 linear meters per 310 mL cartridge. Smaller packs scale proportionally. Gaps, rough edges, and highly absorbent materials will reduce coverage. Plan an extra margin for offcuts and practice passes.
Tips for best results
Work within the recommended open time so the adhesive can properly wet the surfaces.
Use light clamping pressure to keep parts aligned while maintaining a film thickness for strength.
For very porous substrates, apply a thin precoat as a primer layer and allow it to tack before final assembly.
Keep joint lines clean by masking edges with painter tape and removing it before the adhesive skins.
Where movement or vibration is expected, design the joint to share load across a large area.
Troubleshooting
Poor adhesion: Check for oil, release agents, or surface dust. Reclean and lightly abrade if necessary.
Slow cure: Low temperature and low humidity extend cure time. Maintain moderate conditions for best results.
Visible squeeze out: Wipe fresh material with a suitable solvent and a soft cloth. Once cured, trim carefully.
Bond line prints through paint: Allow a full cure, then prime and apply thin coats of paint, allowing proper drying between coats.
Storage and shelf life
Close the cap tightly and store upright. Do not allow the nozzle to clog; remove dried film if present. Always check the pack for a lot code and use by guidance. Reseal immediately after use and store upright. Dispose of empty containers responsibly.
Safety
Read the label before use. Wear gloves when handling uncured material. Provide ventilation in enclosed areas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets. If sensitivity occurs, stop use and seek advice. Do not ingest. First aid directions and detailed handling information are available on the package and the safety data sheet.
Frequently asked questions
Can I bond dissimilar materials? Yes, provided each surface is clean and sound. Differences in expansion are managed by the adhesive film thickness and the inherent flexibility after cure.
Is clamping required? Light clamping improves alignment and final strength. Excessive pressure can starve the joint of adhesive which reduces performance.
Is the bond water resistant? Once cured the bond resists splash water and routine humidity. For permanent immersion choose an adhesive designed for underwater service and follow the manufacturer guidance.
Planning your job
Measure twice and cut once. Dry assemble parts so you can confirm squareness and alignment before adhesive is involved. Keep rags, clamps, and spacers ready. If you are new to the product, test on offcuts to get a feel for bead size and squeeze out. A consistent 1 to 2 mm bond line is a good starting point for most rigid materials. Thicker lines help when surfaces are uneven. Avoid starving the joint by pressing too hard without giving the adhesive a place to reside.
Responsible use
Choose an adhesive that suits the materials and the environment the finished piece will face. If a joint will be submerged, carry structural loads, or be exposed to strong chemicals, check the technical data sheet for specific guidance. Many general purpose products are perfect for day to day work, while specialised tasks call for a system designed and tested for that environment. Using the right product first saves time, money, and rework.
Aftercare and maintenance
Adhesive joints are remarkably strong when used correctly. Design repairs so that routine loads are shared across a generous area. Where heavy vibration is present, pair the adhesive bond with appropriate mechanical fasteners. Keep cleaning chemicals mild, and avoid abrasive pads on visible joints. If a bond will be repainted, choose flexible paint where movement is expected, and keep edges sealed to prevent dirt tracking along the bond line.
Recycling and disposal
Allow empty containers to cure before disposal. Check local council guidance for recycling of plastics and metal cartridges. Never pour uncured product into drains or soil. Wipe tools on scrap material and let residue harden before placing in general waste. Smart handling keeps the workspace clean and reduces environmental impact.

Gorilla Wood Glue is the adhesive that woodworkers, carpenters and hobbyists trust for their woodworking projects. Gorilla Wood Glue, a PVA glue, offers the benefits of an easy-to-use, water-based adhesive, with the holding power Gorilla is known for. The glue is incredibly water-resistant and dries a natural colour that offers an invisible bond line for your projects.
Clamp Time: 20-30 Minutes // Open Time: 5-10 Minutes
Dry Time: 80% in 1-2 Hours // Dry Color: Natural Wood Color
Full Cure: 24 Hours
Application
For best results, it is essential that the wood surfaces are prepared prior to application of glue. For laminating, the surfaces should be planed smooth, leaving the board surface free from machine marks, tear-out and snipes. Also, be careful to avoid burnishing and end snipes. Just how much Gorilla Wood Glue to apply depends on many factors. In general, apply a generous amount of glue on one of the surfaces. On hard-to-glue woods, apply the glue on both surfaces. Rub together with the other surface to distribute the glue evenly on both surfaces. Enough glue should be applied so that a fine bead of glue squeeze-out will occur when clamping. Coverage: 1 gallon of Gorilla Wood Glue will cover about 200 square feet. 1 fluid ounce will cover approximately 1.6 square feet.
Clamping
The technique and type of clamp to be used are determined by many factors: the specific type of joint, type of stock or lumber, the moisture content of stock, room temperature, assembly time and surface quality. In general, apply enough pressure that will cause a fine bead of glue to squeeze out when the proper pressure is applied.
Clamping Time (amount of time pressure needs to remain applied): 20–30 minutes for room temperature applications. The temperature must be above 55°F. Note that clamping time can be dependent on temperature, humidity, and the porosity of the wood.
Cure Time (amount of time for glue to reach total bonding strength): 24 hours
Clean Up
Clean up while the glue is wet: Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe off excess glue. Make as many passes as needed with the clean area of the cloth to remove all the glue. When areas have completely dried, and as needed. Wash hands, skin and damp cloths with soap and warm water, then rinse.
Clean up when the glue has dried: Use a sharp putty knife, razor, or sharp scraper to shave hardened glue from the surface, then sand as needed. Soak hands and skin in soap and warm water, wash, then rinse.
Cleaning the bottle tip: Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe off excess glue after closing. If tip becomes clogged with dry glue, remove the cap and push the clog backwards with a toothpick, then rinse cap with warm water.
To remove Gorilla Wood Glue from hands, wash with warm soap and water.

Use in moderate temperatures for consistent cure.
Clean fresh residue with a damp cloth. Scrape away cured beads before setting coats.
Storage and shelf life
Keep sealed. Do not allow to skin in the tub.

Krud Kutter Original Cleaner and Degreaser 946ml (Ready to Use Trigger Spray)
Krud Kutter Original is a water-based cleaner, degreaser and stain remover that handles tough soils across a wide range of surfaces from a single bottle. Packed in a 946ml trigger pack, it sprays on straight from the bottle for everyday messes and can be used at full strength on the most stubborn grease and grime. It is biodegradable, low in odour and free from bleach, ammonia and harsh solvents, which makes it a practical choice for kitchens, garages, workshops and outdoor areas alike.
Formula overview
The formula combines a water base with a gentle surfactant system, an alkaline builder and a chelating agent that together lift fats, oils, road film and ground-in dirt. Because it relies on water-based chemistry rather than petroleum solvents, it rinses away cleanly, leaves no oily residue and is safe on most washable indoor, automotive and marine surfaces. It is colour fast and fabric safe on most materials, though a spot test is always sensible before a full clean.
Where to use it
Indoors
Kitchen benches, splashbacks, range hoods, oven exteriors and BBQ grills
Tiles and grout, sinks, tubs and shower screens with soap scum build up
Painted walls, skirting and doors (test first and dilute for light marks)
Lifting food and drink stains, marker, crayon, scuff marks and grease spots
Outdoors
Concrete paths, driveways and garage floors with oil and grease staining
Outdoor furniture, fences and rendered or masonry surfaces
Tools, machinery and engine parts (use on a cold, dry engine)
Removing tree sap, bird droppings, brake dust and general weather grime
How to use
Always test on a small, hidden area first to check surface compatibility.
For everyday cleaning, spray directly onto the surface and let it sit briefly.
Wipe away with a clean, damp cloth or sponge.
For heavy grease, oil or dried paint, apply at full strength, leave for a few minutes, then agitate with a brush or pad before wiping with a wet rag.
For lighter cleaning over larger areas, the concentrate can be diluted with water.
Rinse food contact surfaces with clean water after cleaning.
Important notes
Do not use on varnished surfaces or on leather.
The formula is alkaline, so avoid prolonged contact with bare aluminium and other sensitive metals, and rinse and dry after use.
Always test painted, delicate or porous surfaces in an inconspicuous spot before a full clean.
Do not mix with other cleaning chemicals.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.

How to use this product
Use only in a well-ventilated area.
Contact Bonding
Hold down lid while opening can.
Ensure surfaces are clean and dry. For porous surfaces, apply a thin coat to seal surface and allow to dry for approx. 40 minutes.
Using an applicator, completely cover both surfaces with adhesive and keep apart until touch dry (approx. 15 minutes, no more than 30 minutes).
Position items carefully, still keeping surfaces apart with dowels. When edges are perfectly aligned, remove dowels and press surfaces firmly together from one edge to the other.
Secure the bond by running a roller over the bonded surfaces or by hammering from the centre outwards using a padded block.
Maximum bond strength is reached after 24 hours. Clamping may be necessary for warped or curled surfaces.
Wet Bonding (for small areas or porous surfaces)
Ensure surfaces are clean and dry.
Apply Kwik Grip to one surface, then bring the surfaces together and clamp until dry.
Handy Tips
Test plastics before use as solvents may attack some polystyrene and sheet vinyls.
500mL covers up to 2.5m² of one surface, depending on porosity.
For vertical surfaces use Selleys Kwik Grip Vertical Gel.
For confined or low-ventilation areas, use Selleys Kwik Grip Waterbased, which is non-toxic and fume-free.
Use a brush, knife, or serrated scraper for application.
Bonding is immediate once the two surfaces are joined.
Keep container sealed when not in use.
Surface Preparation and Cleanup
For porous surfaces, clean with Selleys Liquid Sugar Soap.
For non-porous surfaces (e.g. glass or metal), clean with mineral turpentine followed by methylated spirits.
For old paint or residue, use Selleys Kwik Strip Smart and ensure surface is dry before applying adhesive.
While wet, adhesive can be removed using mineral turps. Cured adhesive is very difficult to remove.
Tools can be cleaned by soaking in toluol or lacquer thinner.
Keep Selleys Sugar Soap Wipes handy for quick cleanup.

Loctite EA 9235 (Five Minute E-Pox-E, item EFQ5) is a fast-acting two-part epoxy that mixes resin and hardener in equal parts to form a tough, rigid, high-strength bond in about five minutes.
Supplied in a dual-barrel syringe that dispenses both components in the correct 1:1 ratio every time, it is ideal for fast permanent repairs and multi-piece projects across a wide range of household, workshop and trade materials. Once cured it resists water and most common solvents, and can be sanded, drilled and machined. It can also be used as a versatile filler for gap filling, surface repairs and laminating.
Bonds: metal, glass, ceramic, china, tile, stone, concrete, wood, fibreglass and most rigid plastics.
Where to use it
Indoor: repairing ceramics, china and glassware, fixing tools and toys, bonding tiles, and general household and hobby repairs.
Outdoor: bonding stone, concrete and masonry, plus garden and workshop repairs. Not recommended for continuously wet areas or prolonged water immersion.
How to use
1. Make sure surfaces are clean, dry and free of oil, wax, paint and rust. Roughen smooth surfaces by sanding for a stronger grip.
2. Remove the plug and cut the syringe tip at the marked opening. Stand the syringe upright and press the plunger gently to expel any air.
3. Depress the double plunger to dispense equal parts of resin and hardener onto a disposable surface, then mix thoroughly for about one minute.
4. Apply to both surfaces within one to two minutes of mixing and press together. Support the join for around 10 minutes.
5. Usable strength is reached in about 1 hour and the bond fully cures in 24 hours. Wipe the tips clean and replace the plug for storage.
Clean uncured adhesive with acetone before it sets. Cured adhesive can be carefully cut away with a sharp blade.
Important notes
Not recommended for polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon, non-stick coatings or flexible materials. Not suitable for potable (drinking) water systems, prolonged water immersion, or short-term heat above 150°C. Apply between 4°C and 35°C.

Loctite Epoxy Instant Mix 5 Minute is a two-part adhesive consisting of an epoxy resin and a hardener. When mixed in equal volumes, the resin and hardener react to produce a tough, rigid, high strength bond, which starts to set in 5 minutes and reaches handling strength in 1 hour. The static mix nozzle delivers a uniform mixture of resin and hardener every time. It can be used as an adhesive for a wide range of materials or as a versatile filler for gap bonding, surface repairs and laminating. Loctite Epoxy Instant Mix 5 Minute does not shrink and is resistant to water and most common solvents. It can be tinted with earth pigments, cement or sand for color matching and can be sanded and drilled.

Quick completion of the project
How to Use:
Step 1: Safety Precautions
Well-ventilated area, gloves.
Step 2: Preparation
Protect work area. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from oil, wax and paint. For better adhesion, roughen smooth surfaces prior to cleaning. Pre-fit parts to be joined. Remove plastic cap from the centre of the plunger. Turn nozzle end up and pull the plunger back slightly allowing air bubbles to rise to the top. Snap off and discard end of the syringe. Insert nozzle opening and push past prongs. Rotate nozzle 90° to lock into place.
Step 3: Application
Depress plunger to dispense equal amounts of hardener and resin directly onto the surface to be filled or bonded. Remove and discard nozzle. Wipe syringe tip immediately. Retract plunger slightly and close with the cap provided. Place objects together within 40 seconds of adhesive application. Bond sets in 40 to 60 seconds at 20°C to 25°C. Remove any excess adhesive immediately with mineral spirits. Usable strength is obtained within 5 to 10 minutes. Warmer temperatures will shorten the set time and cooler temperatures will lengthen it.
Step 4: Cleanup
Clean excess glue immediately with mineral spirits. Cured adhesive may be cut away with caution using a sharp blade. Prolonged immersion in paint stripper will soften the cured adhesive to aid removal.
