Surface Preparation
Ensure both surfaces are clean, dry and close-fitting. Remove grease, oil, dust or loose particles.
For best adhesion on very smooth plastics, lightly roughen with fine-grade sandpaper and wipe clean.
Avoid use on soft foams, expanded polystyrene or highly porous materials.
Always test on a small, inconspicuous area if unsure about compatibility.
Application Instructions
Prime with activator: Apply one or two thin coats to both bonding surfaces, ensuring full coverage. Re-cap the activator pen immediately. Allow to dry/react for 1–2 minutes.
Apply adhesive: Place a minimal drop of glue on one surface only. Bring parts together immediately and hold firm pressure for at least 1 minute. Avoid shifting once contact is made.
Cure: Leave undisturbed for 10 minutes. Full bond strength develops after 12–24 hours at room temperature.
Coverage & Performance
Only a thin film is required—one drop bonds most small mating areas. Initial handling strength is typically achieved within 5–30 seconds depending on substrates and conditions.

Characteristics:
LOCTITE® Super Glue Creative Pen is a one-part instant gel adhesive in a convenient dispenser, perfect for home use. Its non-drip formula allows for use on vertical or overhead surfaces. The ergonomic pack design ensures precise application, ideal for bonding smaller items.
Bonding Speed: Initial adhesion in 5 to 30 seconds, depending on the substrate.
Bond Strength (ISO 4587): 10 to 20 N/mm² (tensile shear) in 12 to 24 hours, depending on the substrate. Water-resistant to EN204-D3 standard. Ceramic bonds can withstand over 50 dishwasher cycles under controlled laboratory conditions.
Instructions for Use:
Ensure all surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and fit closely.
Twist the cap clockwise onto the pack until you hear a clicking sound. Do not overtighten; a three-quarter turn is sufficient.
Avoid skin contact with the glue.
Gently squeeze the rubber panels and apply a minimal amount of adhesive to one surface.
Press parts together immediately and hold with hand pressure for at least 1 minute.
Allow the bond to set undisturbed for 10 minutes, or preferably overnight, to achieve full bond strength.
Protect work surfaces and avoid spills. Remove cured glue with LOCTITE® Glue Remover.
For best results, apply at room temperature (15-30°C) with at least 30% relative humidity.
After use, wipe the nozzle clean with a tissue, replace the cap, and store in a cool, dry place.

Formula overviewThis is a polyurethane-based adhesive supplied as a clear, low-viscosity liquid in a 30ml (1 fl oz) squeeze tube. It cures by solvent release to a flexible solid that resists water once fully set. The bond will not go brittle with age, although prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause some yellowing over time.
Where to use itIndoors: vinyl upholstery and seat covers, cushions, raincoats and other wet-weather clothing, shoes, weather stripping, toys and general household items made from vinyl, fabric, leather and rubber.Outdoors: tarps, camping and outdoor gear, beach balls, inflatable mattresses and wading pools, wherever a waterproof and flexible repair is needed.
It bonds a wide range of substrates, including vinyl (PVC), fabric, leather, rubber, canvas, paper, wood, glass, metal, ceramic and many flexible plastics.
How to useWork in a well-ventilated area and make sure both surfaces are clean, dry and free of oil, grease, wax and paint. Lightly roughen very smooth surfaces so the glue can grip. Pierce the foil seal in the head of the tube using the reverse end of the cap.Small tears: apply along both edges of the damage, press together and hold with masking tape for around two hours.Larger tears: place a cloth or fibreglass patch behind the damaged area for extra strength, apply along the edges, then tape the repair for around two hours.Contact method: coat both surfaces, leave for 10 to 30 minutes until touch-dry, then bring the parts together within 30 minutes. Allow a full 24 hours of cure before exposing the repair to water. Wipe away wet excess before it sets, and trim cured residue carefully with a sharp blade.
Important notesDo not use on polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE, PET, polystyrene foam board or polyformaldehyde.Do not use on rubberised or coated cotton, foam rubber, neoprene or urethane rubber.Not suitable for faux leather or leatherette.Not recommended where the repair will be exposed to temperatures above 60°C.Clean up uncured adhesive with acetone, following the solvent maker's precautions, as acetone can damage some plastics and is highly flammable.

Typical applications

Directions
Clean and degrease threads thoroughly.
Cut the nozzle to the required bead size.
Apply a continuous bead 1 to 2 threads back from the leading edge. Ensure full coverage around the circumference.
Assemble and tighten the joint. Wipe away excess uncured material.
Allow to cure (see Cure times). Cure speed can be accelerated on passive metals or at low temperature with an appropriate activator.

Important Information
Before application, ensure materials in the contact area are compatible with the sealant and with each other to prevent damage or discoloration. If in doubt, consult the manufacturers of surrounding substrates.
While curing, small amounts of acetic acid are released — ensure good ventilation
After curing, the product is odourless and harmless
Thicker silicone layers require longer vulcanisation time
Not for full-surface bonding unless construction prerequisites are met
For layers over 15mm, contact our technical department
Avoid contact with bitumen-containing materials or those releasing solvents (e.g. butyl, EPDM, neoprene, bituminous paints)
When replacing mould-contaminated joints, remove all old sealant and treat areas with Maxisil Anti-Mildew Spray

Directions:
Prepare and Dampen the Surfaces
If you’re using Original Gorilla Glue for the first time, or bonding a new type of material, we always recommend trying a test piece first.
Prepare your surfaces: All surfaces must be clean, dust free and tight fitting. For shiny surfaces, such as metals, glass and some plastics, roughen up the material to give the glue something to bite into.
Damp It: Lightly dampen one surface with water. We recommend using a damp cloth or spraying with water. Do not saturate the surface. For dense hardwoods, lightly dampen both surfaces prior to gluing.
Evenly Apply Gorilla Glue Onto the Dry Surface
Glue It: Carefully apply onto the dry surface. Do not over apply. We recommend wearing gloves or spreading the glue with a disposable brush. In some instances, Gorilla Glue can be a skin sensitizer. If you are predisposed to skin reactions, please take the extra precaution.
If you do get the glue on your skin, try removing it with a dry cloth or paper towel first (particularly if the glue is still tacky). If that doesn’t work, try washing with soap and cold water, or using an exfoliator with a gritty texture. Dry your skin and apply lotion. We do not recommend using any kind of alcohol or acetone. This actually strips the skin of its natural oils, which means the glue is more likely to stick.
Clamp the Two Surfaces Together Tightly
Clamp It: Make sure the clamping pressure is distributed evenly across the surface. Or, if you don’t have a clamp, use heavy objects or Gorilla Tape® to achieve the appropriate clamping pressure. For lighter objects, try using rubber bands to hold the pieces together tightly. Clamp objects for 1–2 hours. For best results, allow 24 hours to cure.
Clean up
If you need to remove any uncured “squeeze out” or wet glue, we recommend wiping with a dry cloth or using a standard paint thinner. Make sure to read and follow directions if using a paint thinner. Always wear gloves. Once the glue is dry, it is best removed mechanically: Try sanding, chiselling, scraping or picking. The dried glue will not damage tools.
Storage Tips
After each use, wipe the bottle’s lid and nozzle clean with a dry cloth. For 2 oz. bottles, tightly replace the lid after wiping clean and store in a cool, dry place. For bottle sizes 4 oz. and larger, we suggest squeezing excess air out of the bottle. While still squeezing, tightly replace the cap and then store in a cool, dry place. This helps eliminate moisture in the bottle. You should expect a year shelf life.
