How To Use
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease, flaking/powdery paint and old or crumbling caulk.
Cut the seal and nozzle and fit to the top of the cartridge. Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun such as Selleys Light Speed Caulking gun.
Hold the caulking gun at a 45° angle and apply, forcing product into gap
Smooth with a wet finger or spatula
Clean up excess with a damp cloth immediately and clean hands and tools with water.
Allow surface to skin thoroughly prior to painting with water-based paints. If oil-based paints are to be used, or if gaps are large, allow sealant to set for about 24 hours and ensure the product is completely cured.
Avoid water contact until fully cured- 72 hours or longer in cold weather.
Limitations:
Not recommended for foot traffic areas, gaps between tongue and groove boards or weatherboard overlaps. Use Selleys(R) No More Gaps(R) Timber Flooring Flexible Gap Filler for gaps between tongue and groove boards. Use Selleys(R) No More Gaps(R) Exterior & Weatherboard Gap Filler for weatherboard overlaps.
Not suitable for areas in prolonged contact with water eg. showers, pools & spas. Where significant joint movement occurs, or for areas of frequent water immersion, use the appropriate Selleys(R) Silicone Sealant.
Do not apply or store below 5°C.
Handy Tips
Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up.
When first applying the product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of gap filler.
If you are going to wipe off the excess gap filler with a wet finger, ensure you wet your finger with water and not saliva, as saliva contains bacteria and this will increase the chances of mould growing in your gap filler.
Allow the surfaces to the skin prior to painting, which is approximately 30 minutes. Protect from rain until firmly skinned. Allow for longer skin and cure times in damp conditions.
Some water-based undercoats and flat paints may crack on drying. To reduce this effect allows the product to cure for 24 hours in small gaps or 48 hours in larger gaps before painting with such paints.

How to use this product
Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up.
When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of sealant.
Remove the tape before the sealant skins.
For a better finish use a spatula dipped in detergent and water to tool off the sealant.
Allow the surfaces to skin prior to painting, which is approximately 30 minutes. Protect from rain until firmly skinned. Allow for longer skin and cure times in damp conditions.
Some water based under coats & flat paints may crack on drying. To reduce this effect allows the product to cure for 24 hours in small gaps or 48 hours in larger gaps before painting with such paints.
To improve the paint finish, wipe the sealant with detergent solution immediately before painting.
Avoid smearing sealant on the surrounding surfaces as this may effects its paintability.
Work in sections that can be completed before sealant skins. Tooling off and tape removal must be completed before skinning occurs or a rough surface may result so working in sections allows for a better finish.
Keep a pack of SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipes handy to wipe up any spills and for cleaning any material off the skin before it cures. They are an easy and effective way to keep clean on the job.
Safety tips
Uncured product may irritate eyes. If in eyes, flood the eyes for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice.
Avoid contact with skin, if contact occurs, wipe off immediately and wash with detergent. It may irrtate sensitive skin.
Avoid breathing in vapours.
Ensure you use a well ventilated area as product releases methyl ethyl ketoxime while curing.
For advice, contact a Poisons Information Centre (AUS 131 126; NZ 0800 764 766) or a doctor.
For further detail on the safe use of this product, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet, which can be downloaded from this site.
Keep away from children.
Storage and re-use
Store in cool dry conditions, below 30°C
The sealant should be used within 6 months after opening.
After use keep the nozzle on the cartridge
Silicone is a reactive product and is designed to cure once exposed to air. While the product may be stored for a few months once opened, it does have a limited shelf life. Storage in an upright position in a cool dry place is recommended to maximise the storage life.
If the sealant is going to be used again within a few days, leave the nozzle on and merely extrude approximately 2 cm of product before storing the cartridge upright. This will cure to a plug which can easily be pulled out when required.
For longer storage periods, leave the nozzle on and place a piece of plasticene or Blu Tack over the end of the nozzle. Tightly tape a piece of aluminium foil over the whole nozzle to exclude any air.
When you want to re-use the product, simply take off the foil and plug from the old nozzle pull out the excess silicone from the nozzle with a corkscrew, then re-pierce any cure at the tip of the cartridge and re-use.
If cure has taken place into the cartridge, the product is unlikely to be in a useable state and should be discarded.

How to use this product
Supa Glue works best when the surfaces to be bonded are close fitting.
Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and free of dust. Refer to handy hints for cleaning tips.
Pierce seal at end of the tube by attaching nozzle and cap and turning clockwise.
Remove cap and apply a small amount of glue to one surface. Bring surfaces together and apply slight pressure.
Allow 12 hours for sufficient bond strength for practical use.
Handy tips
Supa Glue can create a white residue on the surface of materials if the area is not well ventilated. Clean the affected area with acetone to remove (most nail polish removers) residue.
Excellent when used with other adhesives, as the temporary tack.
For best results, ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean, free of dust, dry and close fitting.
After use, wipe excess product from the nozzle with a tissue dipped in nail polish remover.
For best performance from this product after opening, store in the refrigerator or in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
In the event that fingers get stuck together – don’t panic! Slowly twist fingers in the opposite direction in hot soapy water.
Acetone (most nail polish removers) or Olive oil can also be used to remove Quick Fix from the skin.
While supa glue is not recommended for use on some plastics, if your kids have broken their favourite toy, try this method: Line up the two pieces, glue it, leave it for 24 hours to dry, then drop more glue on the break area like a ‘collar’/protective layer.
Since Quick Fix cures with moisture set times may be extended on very dry surfaces or under dry conditions.
Supa glues cure more slowly when large amounts are used. For faster cure use sparingly.
For cleaning surfaces prior to application of adhesive, if the surface is porous, we would recommend using SELLEYS Liquid Sugar Soap. If the surface is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with mineral turpentine and then again with methylated spirits. If there is old, difficult to remove residue such as old paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as SELLEYS Kwik Strip Smart. Ensure the surface is dry before applying the product.
Keep a canister of SELLEYS Sugar Soap Wipes nearby for a quick and effective cleanup.
To remove excess from materials, it is recommended that the material be soaked in a solution of acetone and water (i.e. 3 parts acetone to 1 part water). Where soaking is not possible, try placing a piece of absorbant material (eg cotton wool) soaked in acetone on the excess for 5 to 10 minutes, topping up the acetone if it evaporates. Gently rub the surface with the material to remove the residues. TEST THE SURFACE IN AN INCONSPICUOUS SPOT to ensure it is unaffected by acetone before attempting removal using this method.
Do not squeeze tube before removing the cap. Handle tube by plastic nozzle neck when opening and closing cap. This prevents pressurizing tube which may force material into the cap, preventing a tight seal after use.
Safety tips
Avoid contact with the skin and eyes.
Avoid breathing vapour.
Quick Fix is non-hazardous once cured. Where Quick Fix residues are on the skin, it is recommended that the skin is soaked in warm to hot water to allow easy removal. It is not advisable to try to remove the cured adhesive by pulling and scraping the skin as this will only serve to damage the skin. Alternatively, rub in hand cream or vegetable oil to accelerate the natural process of the skin sloughing off to remove the residue. Where immediate adhesive removal is considered necessary to apply a solvent such as acetone (nail polish remover) then wash off with soapy water. Apply hand cream to replace naturals oils in the skin.
Do not use near eyes or open wounds.
In case of contact with eyes, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
Non toxic when set.
For further information refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), which can be found at this site.
Storage and re-use
After use, wipe excess product from nozzle with a tissue dipped in acetone (found in some nail polish removers). Wait for a few seconds and check that no further glue is extruding before replacing cap tightly.
Ensure cap is replaced and store in a cool dry place.
For best performance from this product after opening, store in the refrigerator or in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

How to Use
Use in a well ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Thoroughly clean and dry surface from oil, dirt and grease with mineral turps.
Cut the seal at the top of the cartridge and cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, to the size of the gap opening. Fit the nozzle to the top of the cartridge and insert the cartridge into a caulking gun such as Selleys Light Speed Caulking gun.
Hold the caulking gun at a 45° angle and gun sealant ahead of nozzle ensuring product is pushed into joint.
For a smooth finish, tool with a spatula dipped in soapy water. Clean up before sealant skins in 5-10 minutes, with a cloth dampened in mineral turps.
Sealant will cure in 72 hours. At this point any unneeded sealant can be removed by trimming with a sharp blade, but avoid under-cutting the seal.
Limitation:
• Not paintable. Complete painting 7 days prior to applying sealant.

How to use this product
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dirt or grease. Remove cap and carefully pierce seal.
For larger area repairs such as shoe soles, we recommend you use the contact bond method:
For quick and even bonding, apply to one surface only, press together and pull apart. Keep apart until the adhesive film is almost dry (approx. 10 – 20 minutes).
Carefully line up surfaces to be joined and press surfaces firmly together. Bonds immediately on contact. Clamping may be necessary in some applications.
For smaller areas, either use the contact method as above, or join with a wet bond:
Apply Shoe Glue to one surface only and immediately press together. Lightly clamp or hold until dry.
Allow adhesive to achieve maximum bond strength (24 hours) before wearing your repaired shoe/s.
Wipe nozzle clean and replace cap immediately after use. Clean up application tools and excess adhesive with turps before it dries.
Handy tips
A piece of plastic from a takeaway container makes a good applicator for shoe soles.
Bulldog clips are handy to use for clamping straps and other small areas.
Pack includes a removable nozzle for easy application.
