PREP Multi-Use adhesive is a styrene-based all-purpose adhesive, originally designed to replace PVA adhesives. Unlike conventional adhesives, PREP offers multiple solutions in one bottle. PREP Multi-Use adhesive will glue almost anything to anything
Features and Benefits:
Environmentally friendly
Non-toxic
Dries quickly – dries clear
Non-flammable
High water resistance
Prep MultiUse Adhesive is a styrene-based all-purpose adhesive, originally designed to replace PVA adhesives. Unlike conventional adhesive, Prep offers multiple solutions in one bottle.
Prep Multi-Use Adhesive will bond almost anything to anything. Bond strength is greatest on porous surfaces such as timber, fabric, leather, paper, styrene foam, metal, wood and glass, even concrete, plaster, and fibro. Prep MultiUse Adhesiveis also a suitable adhesive for non-porous surfaces such as steel, aluminum, brass, copper, ceramics, and glass.
It will not re-emulsify nor dissolve if subject to water after drying like PVA’s. Prep MultiUse Adhesiveis a thicker emulsion than PVA’s so it doesn’t drip on vertical surfaces. It has greater bond strength on most surfaces.
Prep MultiUse Adhesivemay also be diluted, for use as a ‘dust sealer or primer/sealer’ for concrete and masonry surfaces. It may be used diluted as a bonding agent between layers of concrete or in the mix.

Protite Mould Defender Anti-Fungal Paint Additive 75 mL is a reliable liquid paint additive that helps inhibit mould growth in humid areas chosen for home repairs, trade work, and craft builds when you want a bond you can trust. Designed for Australian conditions, it balances strength, ease of use, and clean application so you can get professional results without special tools. The 75 mL pack is ideal for general work and keeps neatly in a toolbox or caddy.
Why choose Protite Mould for your next project
Everyday jobs often involve mixed materials and imperfect surfaces. Protite Mould Defender Anti-Fungal Paint Additive 75 mL has been formulated to wet out well, grab quickly, and cure to a tough finish that resists movement and contact stress. It maintains bond integrity across common temperature swings and has dependable resistance to moisture and most household chemicals. Whether you are fixing, building, sealing, or assembling, this product gives you confidence from first squeeze through final set.
Best for
Bathrooms and laundries
Kitchens and food prep zones
Rental refresh and maintenance work
Suitable surfaces
The adhesive works well on the following surface types when properly prepared:
Walls and ceilings coated with water based paint
Suitable primers as per paint maker guidance
Surface preparation
Good preparation is the key to a long lasting repair. Remove loose material, dust, and grease. Wipe glossy areas with methylated spirits or an approved cleaner and allow to dry. On very smooth plastics and metals, lightly roughen with fine abrasive paper to give the adhesive a mechanical key. Dry fit parts first and mark alignment points so you can assemble accurately within the open time. If bonding porous materials, ensure both faces are dry and free of surface chalking.
How to use
Check fit and plan clamping. Do a trial run without adhesive so you know the order of steps.
Apply a thin, continuous bead to one surface. For wide pieces, use a zig zag pattern to maximise wetting.
Bring surfaces together within the stated open time of Work to normal paint tray timelines. Reseat once if needed, then hold steady.
Apply even pressure using clamps, tape, weights, or temporary fasteners. Avoid squeezing all adhesive out of the joint.
Allow to cure undisturbed. Initial handling strength will develop as the adhesive sets, with a full cure reached based on the chemistry described below.
Cure profile
Mix thoroughly into your chosen paint and apply as directed by that paint. Dry and recoat times follow the paint system.
Temperature and environmental performance
Use within the temperature window recommended for the host paint. Avoid application to very cold, sweating, or waterlogged surfaces. For outdoor use protect fresh bonds from rain until the skin has formed and the core has progressed in cure. Once fully cured, the bond resists normal weathering, splash water, and intermittent UV exposure based on the substrate and paint systems used.
Clean up and finishing
Clean rollers and brushes according to the paint manufacturer's advice. When cured, excess can be carefully trimmed or sanded. For painted finishes, allow the adhesive to fully cure before priming. Test paint on a small area to confirm compatibility and drying behaviour.
Coverage guide
Coverage varies with bead size, surface porosity, and technique. As a general guide, a 3 mm bead yields approximately 10 to 12 linear meters per 310 mL cartridge. Smaller packs scale proportionally. Gaps, rough edges, and highly absorbent materials will reduce coverage. Plan an extra margin for offcuts and practice passes.
Tips for best results
Work within the recommended open time so the adhesive can properly wet the surfaces.
Use light clamping pressure to keep parts aligned while maintaining a film thickness for strength.
For very porous substrates, apply a thin precoat as a primer layer and allow it to tack before final assembly.
Keep joint lines clean by masking edges with painter tape and removing it before the adhesive skins.
Where movement or vibration is expected, design the joint to share load across a large area.
Troubleshooting
Poor adhesion: Check for oil, release agents, or surface dust. Reclean and lightly abrade if necessary.
Slow cure: Low temperature and low humidity extend cure time. Maintain moderate conditions for best results.
Visible squeeze out: Wipe fresh material with a suitable solvent and a soft cloth. Once cured, trim carefully.
Bond line prints through paint: Allow a full cure, then prime and apply thin coats of paint, allowing proper drying between coats.
Storage and shelf life
Store upright with cap tight. Do not allow to freeze or overheat. Always check the pack for a lot code and use by guidance. Reseal immediately after use and store upright. Dispose of empty containers responsibly.
Safety
Read the label before use. Wear gloves when handling uncured material. Provide ventilation in enclosed areas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets. If sensitivity occurs, stop use and seek advice. Do not ingest. First aid directions and detailed handling information are available on the package and the safety data sheet.
Frequently asked questions
Can I bond dissimilar materials? Yes, provided each surface is clean and sound. Differences in expansion are managed by the adhesive film thickness and the inherent flexibility after cure.
Is clamping required? Light clamping improves alignment and final strength. Excessive pressure can starve the joint of adhesive which reduces performance.
Is the bond water resistant? Once cured the bond resists splash water and routine humidity. For permanent immersion choose an adhesive designed for underwater service and follow the manufacturer guidance.
Planning your job
Measure twice and cut once. Dry assemble parts so you can confirm squareness and alignment before adhesive is involved. Keep rags, clamps, and spacers ready. If you are new to the product, test on offcuts to get a feel for bead size and squeeze out. A consistent 1 to 2 mm bond line is a good starting point for most rigid materials. Thicker lines help when surfaces are uneven. Avoid starving the joint by pressing too hard without giving the adhesive a place to reside.
Responsible use
Choose an adhesive that suits the materials and the environment the finished piece will face. If a joint will be submerged, carry structural loads, or be exposed to strong chemicals, check the technical data sheet for specific guidance. Many general purpose products are perfect for day to day work, while specialised tasks call for a system designed and tested for that environment. Using the right product first saves time, money, and rework.
Aftercare and maintenance
Adhesive joints are remarkably strong when used correctly. Design repairs so that routine loads are shared across a generous area. Where heavy vibration is present, pair the adhesive bond with appropriate mechanical fasteners. Keep cleaning chemicals mild, and avoid abrasive pads on visible joints. If a bond will be repainted, choose flexible paint where movement is expected, and keep edges sealed to prevent dirt tracking along the bond line.
Recycling and disposal
Allow empty containers to cure before disposal. Check local council guidance for recycling of plastics and metal cartridges. Never pour uncured product into drains or soil. Wipe tools on scrap material and let residue harden before placing in general waste. Smart handling keeps the workspace clean and reduces environmental impact.

How to use this product
Supa Glue works best when the surfaces to be bonded are close fitting.
Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and free of dust.
Hold bottle in an upright position. Pierce seal by attaching nozzle and cap and turning clockwise.
Remove cap and squeeze gently to apply a small amount of glue to one surface. Bring surfaces together and apply slight pressure. (30 seconds). The product grabs within 5-30 seconds, depending on environmental conditions and substrates to be bonded.
Allow 30 minutes for sufficient bond strength for practical use. Maximum bond strength reached after 12 hours.
Handy tips
Cyanoacrylate adhesives can create a white residue on the surface of a substrate if the area is not well ventilated.
Clean the affected area with acetone to remove residue.
For best performance from this product after opening, store in the refrigerator or in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Excellent when used with other adhesives, as the temporary tack
For best results, ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean, free of dust, dry and close fitting
In the event that fingers get stuck together – don’t panic! Slowly twist fingers in opposite direction in hot soapy water.
Acetone (nail polish remover) or Olive oil can also be used to remove Quick Fix from skin.
While superglue is not recommended for use on some plastics, if your kids have broken their favourite toy, try this method: Line up the two pieces, glue it, leave it for 24hours to dry, then drop more glue on the break area like a ‘collar’/protective layer.
Since Quick Fix cures with moisture set times may be extended on very dry surfaces or under dry conditions.
Super glues cure more slowly when large amounts are used. For faster cure use sparingly.
Safety tips
Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Avoid breathing vapour.
Quick Fix is non-hazardous once cured. Where Quick Fix residues are on the skin, it is recommended that the skin be soaked in warm to hot water to allow easy removal. It is not advisable to try to remove the cured adhesive by pulling and scraping the skin as this will only serve to damage the skin. Alternatively rub in hand cream or vegetable oil to accelerate the natural process of the skin sloughing off to remove the residue. Where immediate adhesive removal is considered necessary apply a solvent such as acetone (nail polish remover) then wash off with soapy water. Apply hand cream to replace naturals oils in skin.
Do not use solvents near eyes or open wounds.
In case of contact with eyes, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
Non toxic when set.
Storage and re-use
After use, wipe excess product from nozzle with a tissue dipped in acetone (found in some nail polish removers). Reseal cap in a clockwise direction. Tap bottle lightly on a flat surface to clear excess product from nozzle.
To remove excess from substrates, it is recommended that the material be soaked in a solution of acetone and water (i.e. 3 parts acetone to 1 part water). Where soaking is not possible, try placing a piece of absorbant material (eg cotton wool) soaked in acetone on the excess for 5 to 10 minutes, topping up the acetone if it evaporates. Gently rub the surface with the material to remove the residues. TEST THE SURFACE IN AN INCONSPICUOUS SPOT to ensure it is unaffected by acetone before attempting removal using thias method.
Ensure cap is replaced and store in a cool dry place. Cyanoacrylate based adhesives polymerise in the presence of moisture.
Store Upright.
For best performance from this product after opening, store in the refrigerator or in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

How to use this product
Supa Glue works best when the surfaces to be bonded are close fitting.
Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and free of dust.
Remove cap and apply a small amount of glue to one surface. Bring surfaces together and apply slight pressure.
The product grabs within 10-60 seconds, depending on environmental conditions and substrates to be bonded.
Allow 30 minutes for sufficient bond strength for practical use.
Ensure cap is replaced immediately after applying adhesive, as this prolongs the life of brush applicator.
Acetone (nail polish remover) or Olive oil can also be used to remove Quick Fix from the skin.
To remove excess from substrates, it is recommended that the material is soaked in a solution of acetone and water (i.e. 3 parts acetone to 1 part water). Quick Fix Supa glue bonds on contact, if fingers should stick together, apply a solvent such as acetone to affected areas and wash off with water.
If no solvent is available wash area with warm soapy water and work fingers apart.
Do not use solvents near eyes or open wounds.
In case of contact with eyes, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention.

For cleaning surfaces prior to application of adhesive, if the surface is porous, we would recommend using SELLEYS Liquid Sugar Soap. If the surface is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with mineral turpentine and then again with methylated spirits. If there is old, difficult to remove residue such as old paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as SELLEYS Kwik Strip Smart. Ensure the surface is dry before applying the product.
Keep a canister of SELLEYS Sugar Soap Wipes nearby for a quick and effective cleanup.

Factory Production to BS 5750 Part II
BONDS TO:
CEMENT
TIMBER
MASONRY
FIBREGLASS
STEEL
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Remove all loose material from the area to be treated to ensure a solid bond. Slowly add one part of water to 4 parts Quickset WATERCRETE and mix for 1 to 2 minutes to the CONSISTENCY OF PUTTY. Add more product if mix is too wet as wet mix seriously reduces effectiveness. Avoid contact with skin. Press the mix firmly into the prepared area. The product can be moulded to shape. When filling a hole against running water, hold the mixed product in position with a trowel or piece of timber until it cures. The product hardens rapidly after 4 minutes. If sealing a leak underwater, increase the size of the hole on the surface to create a taper. Before applying Quickset WATERCRETE to dry work, generously soak the location with water. Damp conditions assist curing. For repairs less than 1.5cms thick in a dry situation, it is best kept damp for 24 hours.
