Selleys Oven Plus Heavy Duty Gel is a powerful, low-fume cleaning solution formulated to remove baked-on grease and grime from ovens, cookware and bakeware. Its thick gel formula clings to vertical surfaces for deep cleaning with minimal scrubbing. Designed for warm-surface application, it delivers excellent results without harsh fumes.
Surface Preparation
Ensure the area is well ventilated before starting.
Remove loose debris, racks, trays and oven accessories.
Warm the oven slightly (no hotter than 90 °C), then turn it off and allow it to cool for 10 minutes before applying the gel.
Protect surrounding surfaces such as benchtops and floors from splashes.
Wear protective gloves and safety goggles when handling the product.
Application Instructions
Shake the tube well before use.
Apply a thin, even layer of gel using the integrated brush or a dry sponge.
Coat surfaces in order: back wall, sides, oven floor, ceiling, and door.
Allow the gel to dwell for approximately 30 minutes. Do not let it dry out.
Wipe off with a damp cloth. For stubborn spots, use a non-scratch scourer.
Rinse thoroughly with water and dry before reassembling oven parts.
For trays and racks, apply gel evenly, leave for 30 minutes, then rinse and dry.
If cleaning carbon steel or cast iron cookware, dry and oil immediately to prevent rust.
Coverage
A 400 g tube typically covers a standard oven interior and racks in one application, depending on the level of buildup and thickness of application.
Drying / Dwell Time
Allow the product to sit for around 30 minutes. Do not exceed the recommended dwell time. Wipe and rinse thoroughly once the gel has loosened the grime.

How to use this product
Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up.
When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of sealant.
Remove the tape before the sealant skins.
For a better finish use a spatula dipped in detergent and water to tool off the sealant.
Allow the surfaces to skin prior to painting, which is approximately 30 minutes. Protect from rain until firmly skinned. Allow for longer skin and cure times in damp conditions.
Some water based under coats & flat paints may crack on drying. To reduce this effect allows the product to cure for 24 hours in small gaps or 48 hours in larger gaps before painting with such paints.
To improve the paint finish, wipe the sealant with detergent solution immediately before painting.
Avoid smearing sealant on the surrounding surfaces as this may effects its paintability.
Work in sections that can be completed before sealant skins. Tooling off and tape removal must be completed before skinning occurs or a rough surface may result so working in sections allows for a better finish.
Keep a pack of SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipes handy to wipe up any spills and for cleaning any material off the skin before it cures. They are an easy and effective way to keep clean on the job.
Safety tips
Uncured product may irritate eyes. If in eyes, flood the eyes for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice.
Avoid contact with skin, if contact occurs, wipe off immediately and wash with detergent. It may irrtate sensitive skin.
Avoid breathing in vapours.
Ensure you use a well ventilated area as product releases methyl ethyl ketoxime while curing.
For advice, contact a Poisons Information Centre (AUS 131 126; NZ 0800 764 766) or a doctor.
For further detail on the safe use of this product, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet, which can be downloaded from this site.
Keep away from children.
Storage and re-use
Store in cool dry conditions, below 30°C
The sealant should be used within 6 months after opening.
After use keep the nozzle on the cartridge
Silicone is a reactive product and is designed to cure once exposed to air. While the product may be stored for a few months once opened, it does have a limited shelf life. Storage in an upright position in a cool dry place is recommended to maximise the storage life.
If the sealant is going to be used again within a few days, leave the nozzle on and merely extrude approximately 2 cm of product before storing the cartridge upright. This will cure to a plug which can easily be pulled out when required.
For longer storage periods, leave the nozzle on and place a piece of plasticene or Blu Tack over the end of the nozzle. Tightly tape a piece of aluminium foil over the whole nozzle to exclude any air.
When you want to re-use the product, simply take off the foil and plug from the old nozzle pull out the excess silicone from the nozzle with a corkscrew, then re-pierce any cure at the tip of the cartridge and re-use.
If cure has taken place into the cartridge, the product is unlikely to be in a useable state and should be discarded.

Rubber
Leather (test first as leather may become hardened or discoloured)
Some plastics
How to use this product
Supa Glue works best when the surfaces to be bonded are close fitting.
Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and free of dust. Refer to handy hints for cleaning tips.
Pierce seal at end of the tube by attaching nozzle and cap and turning clockwise.
Remove cap and apply a small amount of glue to one surface. Bring surfaces together and apply slight pressure.
Allow 12 hours for sufficient bond strength for practical use.
Handy tips
Supa Glue can create a white residue on the surface of materials if the area is not well ventilated. Clean the affected area with acetone to remove (most nail polish removers) residue.
Excellent when used with other adhesives, as the temporary tack.
For best results, ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean, free of dust, dry and close fitting.
After use, wipe excess product from the nozzle with a tissue dipped in nail polish remover.
For best performance from this product after opening, store in the refrigerator or in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
In the event that fingers get stuck together – don’t panic! Slowly twist fingers in the opposite direction in hot soapy water.
Acetone (most nail polish removers) or Olive oil can also be used to remove Quick Fix from the skin.
While supa glue is not recommended for use on some plastics, if your kids have broken their favourite toy, try this method: Line up the two pieces, glue it, leave it for 24 hours to dry, then drop more glue on the break area like a ‘collar’/protective layer.
Since Quick Fix cures with moisture set times may be extended on very dry surfaces or under dry conditions.
Supa glues cure more slowly when large amounts are used. For faster cure use sparingly.
For cleaning surfaces prior to application of adhesive, if the surface is porous, we would recommend using SELLEYS Liquid Sugar Soap. If the surface is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with mineral turpentine and then again with methylated spirits. If there is old, difficult to remove residue such as old paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as SELLEYS Kwik Strip Smart. Ensure the surface is dry before applying the product.
Keep a canister of SELLEYS Sugar Soap Wipes nearby for a quick and effective cleanup.
To remove excess from materials, it is recommended that the material be soaked in a solution of acetone and water (i.e. 3 parts acetone to 1 part water). Where soaking is not possible, try placing a piece of absorbant material (eg cotton wool) soaked in acetone on the excess for 5 to 10 minutes, topping up the acetone if it evaporates. Gently rub the surface with the material to remove the residues. TEST THE SURFACE IN AN INCONSPICUOUS SPOT to ensure it is unaffected by acetone before attempting removal using this method.
Do not squeeze tube before removing the cap. Handle tube by plastic nozzle neck when opening and closing cap. This prevents pressurizing tube which may force material into the cap, preventing a tight seal after use.
Safety tips
Avoid contact with the skin and eyes.
Avoid breathing vapour.
Quick Fix is non-hazardous once cured. Where Quick Fix residues are on the skin, it is recommended that the skin is soaked in warm to hot water to allow easy removal. It is not advisable to try to remove the cured adhesive by pulling and scraping the skin as this will only serve to damage the skin. Alternatively, rub in hand cream or vegetable oil to accelerate the natural process of the skin sloughing off to remove the residue. Where immediate adhesive removal is considered necessary to apply a solvent such as acetone (nail polish remover) then wash off with soapy water. Apply hand cream to replace naturals oils in the skin.
Do not use near eyes or open wounds.
In case of contact with eyes, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
Non toxic when set.
For further information refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), which can be found at this site.
Storage and re-use
After use, wipe excess product from nozzle with a tissue dipped in acetone (found in some nail polish removers). Wait for a few seconds and check that no further glue is extruding before replacing cap tightly.
Ensure cap is replaced and store in a cool dry place.
For best performance from this product after opening, store in the refrigerator or in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

How to Use
Use in a well ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Thoroughly clean and dry surface from oil, dirt and grease with mineral turps.
Cut the seal at the top of the cartridge and cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, to the size of the gap opening. Fit the nozzle to the top of the cartridge and insert the cartridge into a caulking gun such as Selleys Light Speed Caulking gun.
Hold the caulking gun at a 45° angle and gun sealant ahead of nozzle ensuring product is pushed into joint.
For a smooth finish, tool with a spatula dipped in soapy water. Clean up before sealant skins in 5-10 minutes, with a cloth dampened in mineral turps.
Sealant will cure in 72 hours. At this point any unneeded sealant can be removed by trimming with a sharp blade, but avoid under-cutting the seal.
Limitation:
• Not paintable. Complete painting 7 days prior to applying sealant.
• Not recommended for use as a plug for burst pipes.
• Do not use in below waterline applications.
^Not for use on polyethylene, polypropylene or Teflon - pre-test plastics before use
Handy tips
For neater joints, mask sides before applying sealant and remove tape before sealant skins.
When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of silicone sealant.
For a better finish use a spatula dipped in mineral turps or soapy water to tool off the sealant.
Work in sections that can be completed before sealant skins. Tooling off and tape removal must be completed before skinning occurs or a rough surface may result, so working in sections allows for a better finish.

How to use this product
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dirt or grease. Remove cap and carefully pierce seal.

For quick and even bonding, apply to one surface only, press together and pull apart. Keep apart until the adhesive film is almost dry (approx. 10 – 20 minutes).
Carefully line up surfaces to be joined and press surfaces firmly together. Bonds immediately on contact. Clamping may be necessary in some applications.
For smaller areas, either use the contact method as above, or join with a wet bond:
Apply Shoe Glue to one surface only and immediately press together. Lightly clamp or hold until dry.
Allow adhesive to achieve maximum bond strength (24 hours) before wearing your repaired shoe/s.
Wipe nozzle clean and replace cap immediately after use. Clean up application tools and excess adhesive with turps before it dries.
Handy tips
A piece of plastic from a takeaway container makes a good applicator for shoe soles.

What materials is this product suitable for?
Ceramic, glazed & porcelain fixtures
Metal, copper and brass fitiings
Plastic laminates
Rubber
Glass
Stainless steel
Concrete and grouts
Many plastics including polystyrene
How to use this product
Throughly clean and dry surface from oil, dirt and grease with Mineral Turpentine firstly and then Methylated Spirits. Allow to dry completely before applying silicone. If there old silicone which needs to be removed, we recommend using SELLEYS SILICONE REMOVER, this ingenous product makes removing old silicone easy.
We also recommend sanding the surface back with a good quality sanding block, such as a ROTA COTA Sanding Block Medium/Course grain, as the silicone will adhere more readily to a scratched up surface.
Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up.
Cut the seal at the top of the cartridge and cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, to the size of the gap opening. Fit the nozzle to the top of the cartridge.
Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun such as SELLEYS LIGHT SPEED Caulking gun. We recommend SELLEYS LIGHT SPEED Caulking Gun, as its new innovative pressure release design reduces the mess which results from run on and stress on your hands, which is critical if you are doing a lot of sealing.
Hold the caulking gun at a 45° angle. Press the nozzle opening against the joint, apply steady pressure to the caulking gun and extrude the silicone sealant forcing the sealant into the gap and move in a pushing motion, along the joint in one smooth action.
For a smooth finish, smooth with a finger dipped in mineral turpetine or for a professional finish use a paint scraper such as a 50mm ROTA COTA Soft Grip Scraper dipped in mineral turpetine.
Excess sealant must be cleaned up before the sealant skins in 5-10 minutes. Wipe excess away with a cloth dampened in mineral turpetine or use a SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipe. Remove tape before the sealant skins. Clean tools immediately in mineral turpetine.
Avoid smearing on surrounding surfaces, see handy tip.
Sealant will cure fully in 72 hours. As this point any unwanted sealant can be removed by trimming with a sharp blade, but avoid under cutting the seal.
Handy tips
Tips for Using a Silicone Sealant in a Wet Area
Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up.
When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of silicone sealant.
Remove the tape before the silicone sealant skins.
For a better finish complete painting prior to use of the sealant as it can not be painted over.
For a better finish use a spatula dipped in mineral turpetine or detergent and water to tool off the sealant.
Work in sections that can be completed before sealant skins. Tooling off and tape removal must be completed before skinning occurs or a rough surface, may result so working in sections allows for a better finish.
Silicone is a reactive product and is designed to cure once exposed to humidity.

High-Grade Neutral Cure Silicone
A high-grade neutral (non-corrosive) cure silicone formulated for superior adhesion to cement (e.g., grout). The product also contains a fungicidal protector for excellent mould and fungal resistance.

Superior adhesion to mortar, grout, and metals. As the product does not lift at the edges and adheres so well to cement and grout, dirt, mould, and fungus will not become trapped, preventing unsightly black mould spots.

Built-in fungicide to inhibit the growth of mould.
Available in a range of colours to suit most wet areas.
Non-corrosive neutral cure formula.
Low odour, so can be used in any environment without discomfort.
Easy to clean once applied, as it resists moisture, hot cooking oils, and steam.
Superior flexibility with +/- 25% movement capability and up to 400% elongation or stretch.
Temperature resistance: approximately -60°C to +150°C.

How to use this product
Thoroughly clean and dry the surface from oil, dirt, and grease with Mineral Turpentine first and then Methylated Spirits. Allow to dry completely before applying silicone. If there is old silicone that needs to be removed, we recommend using SELLEYS SILICONE REMOVER. This ingenious product makes removing old silicone easy.
We also recommend sanding the surface back with a good quality sanding block, such as a ROTA COTA Sanding Block Medium/Course Grain, as the silicone will adhere more readily to a scratched-up surface.
Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun such as the SELLEYS LIGHT SPEED Caulking Gun. We recommend this caulking gun, as its new innovative pressure release design reduces the mess from run-on and stress on your hands, which is critical if you are doing a lot of sealing.
Hold the caulking gun at a 45° angle. Press the nozzle opening against the joint, apply steady pressure to the caulking gun, and extrude the silicone sealant. Move in a pushing motion along the joint in one smooth action.
For a smooth finish, smooth with a finger dipped in mineral turpentine or, for a professional finish, use a paint scraper such as a 50mm ROTA COTA Soft Grip Scraper dipped in mineral turpentine.
Excess sealant must be cleaned up before it skins in 5-10 minutes. Wipe excess away with a cloth dampened in mineral turpentine or use a SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipe.
Remove tape before the sealant skins. Clean tools immediately with mineral turpentine.
Avoid smearing on surrounding surfaces.
The sealant will cure fully in 72 hours. At this point, any unwanted sealant can be removed by trimming with a sharp blade, but avoid undercutting the seal.
Handy Tips
Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product for a neat finish and easy cleanup.
When first applying, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of silicone sealant.
Remove the tape before the silicone sealant skins.
For a better finish, complete painting prior to using the sealant as it cannot be painted over.
Use a spatula dipped in mineral turpentine or detergent and water to tool off the sealant for a better finish.
Work in sections that can be completed before the sealant skins. Tooling off and tape removal must be completed before skinning occurs for a better finish.
Keep a pack of SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipes handy to wipe up spills and clean any material off the skin before it cures.
Safety Tips
Uncured product may irritate eyes. If in eyes, flood the eyes for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice.
Avoid contact with skin. If contact occurs, wipe off immediately and wash with detergent. It may irritate sensitive skin.
Avoid breathing in vapours.
Ensure you use a well-ventilated area as the product releases methyl ethyl ketoxime while curing.
Store in cool dry conditions, below 30°C.
The sealant should be used within 6 months after opening.
After use, keep the nozzle on the cartridge. Silicone is a reactive product and cures once exposed to humidity.
For longer storage periods, leave the nozzle on and place plasticene or Blu Tack over the end of the nozzle. Tightly tape a piece of aluminium foil over the whole nozzle to exclude any air.
When re-using, simply remove the foil and plug from the old nozzle, pull out the excess silicone, and re-pierce the tip of the cartridge.
If cure has occurred inside the cartridge, the product is no longer usable and should be discarded.

How to Use
Preparation
For new tiling jobs, use Selleys White For Life Tiling Adhesives. Ensure that the tile adhesive has set (usually 24-48hrs). Remove spacers, rake out excessive, dust, debris etc from the joints. If re-grouting remove old grout and clean thoroughly with Selleys Rapid Mould Killer and allow to dry. Do not grout at temperatures below 10°C, or in damp conditions. Before grouting, check ease of removal from matt or textured tile surfaces. Seal porous tiles before grouting or removal of grout from tiles will be difficult.
Application
Cut seal, screw on nozzle, cut to size. Apply with a caulking gun, forcing grout into joints (for cartridge only). Grout small areas at a time.
Work the grout into the joints and smooth off using a rubber squeegee or grout float, moving diagonally across the joints with several passes to compact the grout lines and minimise the amount left on the face of the tiles – avoid moving along the joint as this removes grout from the joint.
Tip: hold float/squeegee at 45° angle; clean regularly. Clean up with water, before grout sets.
Allow grout to firm up in joints for approx 20 min (longer in colder conditions).
Using a damp (not wet) sponge, clean tile surfaces, by wiping lightly, in a circular motion. Finish with a single wipe diagonally across the tile with a clean damp ( not wet) sponge. Avoid repeated wiping as this may remove grout which is not yet fully set, from the joints.
Buff and polish the tile surface, after 24hours, with a soft clean cloth. Use Selleys White For Life Grout Cleaner for any stubborn haze marks.
overage
1 cartridge is sufficient for 2sqm of tiling (300mm x 30mm tiles; joint depth 5mm and width 3mm).
1.4kg is sufficient for 6sqm of tiling (300mm x 30mm tiles; joint depth 5mm and width 3mm).
Limitations:
Not for areas frequently immersed in water eg. Shower floors.
Allow to dry for 3 days before exposing grout to water on shower walls.
Handy tips
If the grout is overworked or excessive water is used to smooth off, it may appear to shrink – simply apply a second coat to affected areas.
*To maintain whiteness and long term stain & mould resistance:
Allow grout to set for 3 days before sealing Selleys White For Life Sealer for maximum stain resistance. Reapply sealer annually or whenever grout has been scrubbed hard.
Clean grout and tiles regularly with Selleys White For Life Tile & Grout Cleaner to avoid build up of soil or soap scrum. Do not use harsh acidic cleaners.
Areas subject to high foot traffic will require frequent cleaning.
Clean up spills immediately – grout will resist penetration by common stains for up to 10 minutes.
