  • PC11 Waterproof Marine White Epoxy cures underwater Syringe 28g

PC Products PC11 Waterproof Marine White Epoxy cures underwater Syringe 28g

Sold Out  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

PC-11® thrives in wet environments. It is resistant to water whether it is fresh or salt. Thick consistency like PC-7® and long open time (30 min). Work horizontal or vertical, indoor or outdoor. Wet, dry or under water. Whether you are working on an area where you just can’t remove water and moisture or you want the white colour for your repair, PC-11® is your choice. Choose PC-11® for ceramic repairs, pools and spas, fibreglass boats, tubs and sinks, stock tanks and thousands of other repairs. It has excellent adhesive properties bonding metals, fibreglass, wood, tile and some plastics such as ABS and rigid PVC. Ample open time allows tooling or positioning in order to tackle larger and challenging jobs. When mixed, the epoxy, part A (white) and the hardener part B (lt. blue) react to form a bond of tremendous strength and flexibility. The PC-11® formulation is slow curing, but slow can be a good thing especially for large tasks. WORKING TIME: 30 MINUTES CURE TIME: 24 HOURS (48 HOURS FOR FULL CURE) PC-11® is thick. Thick is good if you need to work vertically or want to hold an object in place. How thick? Not quite as thick as peanut butter. Here are just a few specific uses (there are hundreds of other uses): Reattach missing swimming pool tiles. Patch a hole in a fibreglass canoe or the fibreglass keel of a fishing boat. Repair cracked or damage swimming pool or hot tub skimmer. Waterproof and Seal cracked fibreglass. Seal screw holes to hatch lids or seating. Attach fish locators to transom. Repair stock tanks. Repair broken refrigerator door shelf fixtures. Repair broken pottery. Repair shower basin or antique bath tub. Seal leaking air conditioner drip pan. Seal underground conduit. How to prepare a surface for bonding with PC-11® Epoxy Paste Remove contaminants such as dust, dirt, oil, barnacles and grime with a solvent such as Denatured Alcohol, Acetone, Rubbing Alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or Lacquer Thinner. A mild detergent solution in water is also good removing contaminants. Use a clean paper towel or rag for wiping. Do not use Mineral Spirits or Paint Thinner for removing contaminants. For a wet or underwater surface; clean contaminants as best as you can. Solvents will not help you in this situation. Remove rust and loose paint with sandpaper or wire brush. Epoxy typically sticks to most paints. If there is a concern of the paint’s adhesion then remove it with sandpaper or wire brush. Smooth, glossy and shiny surfaces should be roughened using sandpaper to increase adhesion. How to clean-up after PC-11® Epoxy Paste application Use Denatured Alcohol, Acetone, Rubbing Alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or Lacquer Thinner to clean tools and mixing surface before PC-11® cures. Clean hands and skin with soap and water. Cured epoxy can be removed by applying Paint Remover or Paint Stripper to soften the epoxy surface. Scratch off the softened epoxy. Repeat as needed. Can PC-11® be used in Aquariums? There is the potential for PC-11® part A and part B to harm sea life but properly measured and mixed PC-11® has been used safely in fresh and saltwater aquariums. It is important that part A and B are thoroughly and completely mixed. What plastics does PC-11® stick to? PC-11® has good adhesion to Rigid PVC and CPVC, polyester and fiberglass, polyurethane, ABS and Bakelite. What plastics does PC-11® not stick to? PC-11® does not stick to polyethylene, polypropylene, HDPE, polystyrene, nylon, acrylic, Teflon, and polycarbonate. What rubbers does PC-11® stick to? PC-11® sticks to SBR, Buna, and polyurethane rubbers and does not stick to EPDM, vinyl and neoprene rubbers. What temperatures can PC-11® be applied? PC-11® cures very slowly at temperatures below 50°F (10°C). At or below freezing temperatures the PC-11® will stop curing. In hot conditions, above 95°F (35°C), PC-11® will cure rapidly reducing the working or application time. Can gel coat be applied to PC-11®? Gel coat will not cure properly in direct contact with PC-11®. It is important that repairs made with PC-11® be sealed with a suitable primer/sealer before applying a gel coat. Can PC-11® be painted? Yes. It is good practice to apply a premium stain sealing primer to repairs made with PC-11® prior to the finish coat. Will PC-11® yellow in direct sunlight? Yes, PC-11® yellows in direct sunlight. PC-11® resists ultraviolet light but will still gradually change colour. Prime and paint if the colour is important. Can PC-11® be thinned with solvent? PC-11® does not contain solvents. Acetone and denatured alcohol (ethanol) are compatible but will extend the cure time and decrease the hardness. Other solvents such as mineral spirits, paint thinner and turpentine are not compatible. PC-11® is a simple one to one mix, but how accurately does the measurement need to be? The volume of part A to part B should be close to equal. A slight excess of part A is preferable to an excess of part B. Excess of part B will not accelerate the curing and it may make it softer.

Timbermate Concremate Expanding Anchoring Cement - Fast Set Grout & Patch

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Concremate Expanding Anchoring Cement Anchor, patch and lock in place with confidence. Concremate is a high-performance expanding cement designed for rapid, reliable anchoring and structural patching. Mixed to a workable, mortar-like consistency, it expands slightly as it cures to counteract drying shrinkage. That controlled expansion grips embedded items and surrounding material tightly, delivering a secure, long-lasting hold that stands up to strain, stress and vibration. Why choose Concremate Fast turnaround: initial set in about 30 minutes and hard in approximately 1 hour, so many jobs can progress the same day. Expands and grips: engineered expansion of about 0.125% offsets shrinkage and locks into the substrate. High ultimate strength: cures to a finish that becomes harder than standard concrete at 28 days when properly mixed and applied. Versatile application: ideal for anchoring bolts, rails, brackets and fixtures, as well as patching holes, chases and cracks. Durable performance: forms a robust, long-term bond that resists severe mechanical stress and vibration. Where it excels Use Concremate for secure embedment and structural repairs on common mineral surfaces. It is suitable for: Concrete and masonry Brickwork and stone Tiles and terrazzo Plaster and similar mineral substrates Typical projects Anchoring handrails, posts, machine base bolts, threaded rods and heavy brackets Fixing door and window hardware to masonry openings High-pressure grouting under plates, around pipe sleeves and service penetrations Patching voids, chased conduits, spalled edges and impact damage in floors, walls and ceilings How it works Concremate is a mineral-based expanding cement. After mixing with clean water, the paste hydrates and begins to set. A small, controlled expansion during cure offsets natural drying shrinkage. The result is a tight, interference-style fit that increases grip on embedded items and keys the patch into surrounding material. For best results, the material must be able to expand slightly while drying and should not be constrained in a completely sealed cavity. Directions for use Surface preparation: Remove dust, loose material, laitance, oil and contaminants. Roughen smooth surfaces and blow or brush clean. Pre-dampen porous substrates to a surface-saturated dry condition; do not leave standing water. Mixing: Add powder to clean water while stirring until a smooth, lump-free, mortar-like consistency is reached. Mix only what you can place within the working time. Do not over-water. Placement for anchoring: Fill the prepared hole or pocket from the bottom up to avoid entrapped air. Insert the fixture or fastener while the mix is workable and align immediately. Hold steady until initial set. Placement for patching: Tightly pack the mix into the void in layers, compacting each layer to ensure full contact. Strike off and finish the surface as required. Curing: Protect from rapid drying, wind and direct sun during early cure. Avoid vibration or load until the material has hardened. Cleanup: Clean tools and splashes with water while product is fresh. Once hardened, mechanical removal may be required. Good practice tips Plan the job so placement occurs immediately after mixing for best expansion and bond. For deep holes or large voids, place in lifts and compact each lift. Do not confine completely in a sealed cavity; allow space for controlled expansion. Avoid adding sand, cement or other admixtures that can change performance. Performance and durability When correctly mixed and applied, Concremate develops a hard, dense matrix with strong adhesion to mineral substrates and embedded metals. The slight expansion on cure reduces micro-gapping at the interface, improving load transfer and long-term durability. After full cure at 28 days, the set material achieves hardness that exceeds standard concrete, supporting demanding anchoring and patching tasks. Safety and handling Wear suitable gloves, eye protection and a dust mask when mixing and placing. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water. Store in a cool, dry place in the original, tightly closed container. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Specifications Product type Expanding cement anchoring and patching compound Form Premixed dry powder Color Grey Mix consistency Mortar-like paste when mixed with clean water Initial set About 30 minutes (conditions dependent) Hard set Approximately 1 hour (conditions dependent) Ultimate hardness Harder than standard concrete at 28 days Expansion Approx. 0.125% during cure Recommended substrates Concrete, brick, stone, tiles, plaster, terrazzo Primary uses Anchoring bolts, rails, brackets and fixtures; patching holes, chases and cracks; high-pressure grouting Cleanup Water while fresh Storage Cool, dry conditions in sealed container What to expect on the job With suitable surface preparation and correct mixing, you can expect a smooth placement, quick set and a dense, high-integrity bond. The expansion action helps lock hardware and patches into place. Protect new work from early movement and moisture loss, then return to service once the hard set has been achieved and the repair or anchorage has reached the necessary strength for your application. Limitations Not for use where the mix cannot expand slightly during cure. Do not apply over active movement joints or flexible substrates. Working and set times vary with temperature, humidity and mix ratio. Note: Always trial on a small, inconspicuous area or non-critical hole to confirm suitability for your specific substrate and conditions.

Selleys Tarzan’s Grip Fast-Set 5 Minute Epoxy Adhesive 24 mL

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Tarzan’s Grip Fast-Set 5 Minute Epoxy Adhesive 24 mL is a reliable two part fast setting epoxy adhesive for durable repairs chosen for home repairs, trade work, and craft builds when you want a bond you can trust. Designed for Australian conditions, it balances strength, ease of use, and clean application so you can get professional results without special tools. The 24 mL pack is ideal for general work and keeps neatly in a toolbox or caddy. Why choose Tarzan's Grip Grip for your next project Everyday jobs often involve mixed materials and imperfect surfaces. Tarzan’s Grip Fast-Set 5 Minute Epoxy Adhesive 24 mL has been formulated to wet out well, grab quickly, and cure to a tough finish that resists movement and contact stress. It maintains bond integrity across common temperature swings and has dependable resistance to moisture and most household chemicals. Whether you are fixing, building, sealing, or assembling, this product gives you confidence from first squeeze through final set. Best for Household and workshop repairs that need speed and strength Fixing fixtures, brackets, and hardware Filling chips and rebuilding small edges before sanding Suitable surfaces The adhesive works well on the following surface types when properly prepared: Metal hardware Ceramic tiles Most rigid plastics except polyethylene and polypropylene Timber and MDF Stone and concrete Surface preparation Good preparation is the key to a long lasting repair. Remove loose material, dust, and grease. Wipe glossy areas with methylated spirits or an approved cleaner and allow to dry. On very smooth plastics and metals, lightly roughen with fine abrasive paper to give the adhesive a mechanical key. Dry fit parts first and mark alignment points so you can assemble accurately within the open time. If bonding porous materials, ensure both faces are dry and free of surface chalking. How to use Check fit and plan clamping. Do a trial run without adhesive so you know the order of steps. Apply a thin, continuous bead to one surface. For wide pieces, use a zig zag pattern to maximise wetting. Bring surfaces together within the stated open time of 3 to 5 minutes working time. Reseat once if needed, then hold steady. Apply even pressure using clamps, tape, weights, or temporary fasteners. Avoid squeezing all adhesive out of the joint. Allow to cure undisturbed. Initial handling strength will develop as the adhesive sets, with a full cure reached based on the chemistry described below. Cure profile Initial set is reached in about 5 minutes at 23 C. Sandable after several hours. Achieves high final strength after a full overnight cure. Temperature and environmental performance Performs well across typical domestic temperature ranges after cure. Avoid application to very cold, sweating, or waterlogged surfaces. For outdoor use protect fresh bonds from rain until the skin has formed and the core has progressed in cure. Once fully cured, the bond resists normal weathering, splash water, and intermittent UV exposure based on the substrate and paint systems used. Clean up and finishing Clean uncured excess with acetone on a cloth. Use care on painted substrates. When cured, excess can be carefully trimmed or sanded. For painted finishes, allow the adhesive to fully cure before priming. Test paint on a small area to confirm compatibility and drying behaviour. Coverage guide Coverage varies with bead size, surface porosity, and technique. As a general guide, a 3 mm bead yields approximately 10 to 12 linear meters per 310 mL cartridge. Smaller packs scale proportionally. Gaps, rough edges, and highly absorbent materials will reduce coverage. Plan an extra margin for offcuts and practice passes. Tips for best results Work within the recommended open time so the adhesive can properly wet the surfaces. Use light clamping pressure to keep parts aligned while maintaining a film thickness for strength. For very porous substrates, apply a thin precoat as a primer layer and allow it to tack before final assembly. Keep joint lines clean by masking edges with painter tape and removing it before the adhesive skins. Where movement or vibration is expected, design the joint to share load across a large area. Troubleshooting Poor adhesion: Check for oil, release agents, or surface dust. Reclean and lightly abrade if necessary. Slow cure: Low temperature and low humidity extend cure time. Maintain moderate conditions for best results. Visible squeeze out: Wipe fresh material with a suitable solvent and a soft cloth. Once cured, trim carefully. Bond line prints through paint: Allow a full cure, then prime and apply thin coats of paint, allowing proper drying between coats. Storage and shelf life Keep sealed to prevent crystallisation. Store upright at moderate temperature. Always check the pack for a lot code and use by guidance. Reseal immediately after use and store upright. Dispose of empty containers responsibly. Safety Read the label before use. Wear gloves when handling uncured material. Provide ventilation in enclosed areas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets. If sensitivity occurs, stop use and seek advice. Do not ingest. First aid directions and detailed handling information are available on the package and the safety data sheet. Frequently asked questions Can I bond dissimilar materials? Yes, provided each surface is clean and sound. Differences in expansion are managed by the adhesive film thickness and the inherent flexibility after cure. Is clamping required? Light clamping improves alignment and final strength. Excessive pressure can starve the joint of adhesive which reduces performance. Is the bond water resistant? Once cured the bond resists splash water and routine humidity. For permanent immersion choose an adhesive designed for underwater service and follow the manufacturer guidance. Planning your job Measure twice and cut once. Dry assemble parts so you can confirm squareness and alignment before adhesive is involved. Keep rags, clamps, and spacers ready. If you are new to the product, test on offcuts to get a feel for bead size and squeeze out. A consistent 1 to 2 mm bond line is a good starting point for most rigid materials. Thicker lines help when surfaces are uneven. Avoid starving the joint by pressing too hard without giving the adhesive a place to reside. Responsible use Choose an adhesive that suits the materials and the environment the finished piece will face. If a joint will be submerged, carry structural loads, or be exposed to strong chemicals, check the technical data sheet for specific guidance. Many general purpose products are perfect for day to day work, while specialised tasks call for a system designed and tested for that environment. Using the right product first saves time, money, and rework. Aftercare and maintenance Adhesive joints are remarkably strong when used correctly. Design repairs so that routine loads are shared across a generous area. Where heavy vibration is present, pair the adhesive bond with appropriate mechanical fasteners. Keep cleaning chemicals mild, and avoid abrasive pads on visible joints. If a bond will be repainted, choose flexible paint where movement is expected, and keep edges sealed to prevent dirt tracking along the bond line. Recycling and disposal Allow empty containers to cure before disposal. Check local council guidance for recycling of plastics and metal cartridges. Never pour uncured product into drains or soil. Wipe tools on scrap material and let residue harden before placing in general waste. Smart handling keeps the workspace clean and reduces environmental impact.

  • Gorilla Original Glue Bonds Virtually Everything Water Proof 118ml

Gorilla Gorilla Original Glue Bonds Virtually Everything Water Proof 118ml

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

The product that started it all. Original Gorilla Glue built a name for itself with its incredible, industrial holding power and versatility. Water activated, it expands into materials to form an incredibly strong bond to virtually anything. Gorilla Glue is your solution for almost any project or repair. It’s 100% waterproof, safe for indoor and outdoor use and strong enough to stand up to the elements. Plus, its expansion allows it to penetrate the glued surface for a superior bond. Sand it, paint it, stain it. Simply stated, it’s the Toughest Glue on Planet Earth. Directions Prepare and Dampen the Surfaces If you’re using Original Gorilla Glue for the first time, or bonding a new type of material, we always recommend trying a test piece first. Prepare your surfaces: All surfaces must be clean, dust free and tight fitting. For shiny surfaces, such as metals, glass and some plastics, roughen up the material to give the glue something to bite into. Damp It: Lightly dampen one surface with water. We recommend using a damp cloth or spraying with water. Do not saturate the surface. For dense hardwoods, lightly dampen both surfaces prior to gluing. Evenly Apply Gorilla Glue Onto the Dry Surface Glue It: Carefully apply onto the dry surface. Do not over apply. We recommend wearing gloves or spreading the glue with a disposable brush. In some instances, Gorilla Glue can be a skin sensitizer. If you are predisposed to skin reactions, please take the extra precaution. If you do get the glue on your skin, try removing it with a dry cloth or paper towel first (particularly if the glue is still tacky). If that doesn’t work, try washing with soap and cold water, or using an exfoliator with a gritty texture. Dry your skin and apply lotion. We do not recommend using any kind of alcohol or acetone. This actually strips the skin of its natural oils, which means the glue is more likely to stick. Clamp the Two Surfaces Together Tightly Clamp It: Make sure the clamping pressure is distributed evenly across the surface. Or, if you don’t have a clamp, use heavy objects or Gorilla Tape® to achieve the appropriate clamping pressure. For lighter objects, try using rubber bands to hold the pieces together tightly. Clamp objects for 1–2 hours. For best results, allow 24 hours to cure. Clean up If you need to remove any uncured “squeeze out” or wet glue, we recommend wiping with a dry cloth or using a standard paint thinner. Make sure to read and follow directions if using a paint thinner. Always wear gloves. Once the glue is dry, it is best removed mechanically: Try sanding, chiseling, scraping or picking. The dried glue will not damage tools. Storage Tips After each use, wipe the bottle’s lid and nozzle clean with a dry cloth. For 2 oz. bottles, tightly replace the lid after wiping clean and store in a cool, dry place. For bottle sizes 4 oz. and larger, we suggest squeezing excess air out of the bottle. While still squeezing, tightly replace the cap and then store in a cool, dry place. This helps eliminate moisture in the bottle. You should expect a year shelf life. What is the temperature range for applying the glue? For best results, apply the glue at room temperature. Original Gorilla Glue should be left out of reach of children and animals. Can you speed up the curing process? Original Gorilla Glue should be clamped for 1–2 hours. During this time, it reaches 80% cure. Allow 24 hours for 100% cure. Note that cure time can vary depending on temperature, humidity and the porosity of the bonding materials. Is Gorilla Glue truly 100% waterproof? Yes. Gorilla Glue is 100% waterproof. It passes ANSI/HPVA Types I and II. How do I extend the shelf life of Gorilla Glue? Gorilla Glue is moisture activated. Once the adhesive comes in contact with moisture, it can start to harden. To extend the shelf life, always wipe lid and nozzle clean with a dry cloth and tightly replace the lid. My bottle of glue has formed a dry layer on top; can I still use it? Any glue that is still in liquid form is perfectly usable and reliable. If the dry layer is very thin, use a pointed tool to poke through it and carefully pull the dry layer through the cap. Do not microwave or heat your bottle of Gorilla Glue to soften the top layer. How do I clean up Gorilla Glue? Wipe off excess glue immediately with a dry cloth or standard paint thinner. Do not drag glue over material; instead, make small swipes to remove wet adhesive. Make sure you avoid skin contact. Cured glue can be removed with a chisel, scraper or sandpaper What is the proper clamp time? When using Original Gorilla Glue, clamp objects for 1–2 hours. For best results, leave overnight. What if I don’t have clamps? Gorilla Glue expands as it cures. To ensure the strongest bond, clamping pressure is needed. There are many different ways to clamp the surfaces, but keep in mind the stronger the pressure, the better the bond will be. Professional clamps are ideal, but if those aren’t handy, you can use heavy weight from bricks, books or even Gorilla Tape. The key is to ensure a tight-fitting glue line by applying even distribution of pressure. How much Gorilla Glue should I apply? Apply a thin layer of glue. A little bit goes a long way. As a general guide, use a ½ ounce per square foot. Be careful of uncured “squeeze-out” or wet glue, particularly on finished furniture. If you need to remove any squeeze-out, we recommend wiping with a dry cloth or using a standard paint thinner. Make sure you use the solvent with care in a well-ventilated area. Always wear gloves. Once the glue is dry, it is best removed mechanically: Try sanding, chiseling, scraping or picking. The dried glue will not damage tools. Visit our Gorilla Glue Directions page for more information. Why do I need to add moisture before gluing with Gorilla Glue? Gorilla Glue is moisture activated—this is what causes the chemical reaction in polyurethane adhesives. Therefore, you need to apply a small amount of moisture to one surface. Then apply glue to the dry surface and clamp. For dense hardwoods, lightly dampen both surfaces prior to gluing. Do I need to prepare the surface first? Make sure surfaces are clean and tight fitting. For smooth, shiny surfaces, such as metal and plastic, adhesion can be increased by sanding or abrading the surface. This gives Gorilla Glue more surface area to grip. Is Gorilla Glue really for the Toughest Jobs on Planet Earth? Gorilla Glue is an all-purpose adhesive. If used correctly, it will bond just about anything and for just about forever. It is free of solvents and fillers, which makes it strong and versatile. There are some surfaces and materials that are difficult to glue, such as certain plastics. Aside from a few of these materials, we are certain Gorilla Glue offers an extraordinary, waterproof bond on just about anything.

Gorilla takes epoxy to a new level—the Gorilla Tough level. With its superior solvent and water resistance, Gorilla Epoxy adhesive is incredibly strong and durable for household and automotive repairs alike. The easy-to-use syringe keeps the epoxy resin and hardener separate, so it is easy to dispense and won’t harden over time. The two-part, gap-filling formula easily bonds steel, aluminum, glass, wood, ceramic, tile and most plastics. Plus, it dries in an ideal, crystal-clear finish that makes projects look spotless. Features: Dries Clear: Ideal for clean, easy finishing 5 Minute Set: Plenty of repositioning time for the perfect fit. Gap-Filling: Fills voids and bonds uneven and vertical surfaces. Water Resistant: Withstands moderate exposure to water Solvent resistant Non-Toxic once cured Easy-to-use syringe: Separate barrels of epoxy resin and hardener keep epoxy from hardening, plus syringe dispenses evenly and includes a cap for multiple uses. Directions Prepare your work area: It is recommended to use Gorilla Epoxy in a well-ventilated area. Be sure your work area is protected from spills. Gather your mixing tray and stir sticks so that all your supplies are together. Prepare the surface: To improve adhesion, roughen smooth surfaces before gluing. Then clean and dry all surfaces to be bonded.   Prepare Your Work Area and the Surface If you’re using Gorilla Epoxy for the first time, or bonding a new type of material, we always recommend trying a test piece first. Prepare your work area: It is recommended to use Gorilla Epoxy in a well-ventilated area. Be sure your work area is protected from spills. Gather your mixing tray and stir sticks so that all your supplies are together. Prepare the surface: To improve adhesion, roughen smooth surfaces before gluing. Then clean and dry all surfaces to be bonded.   Mixing Gorilla Epoxy Remove the black cap from the two syringes. With tip pointing upward, cut or snap the end from tip of the syringes. With the tip still pointing upward, eliminate air and ensure even dispensing by slowly pushing the plunger until both the resin and the hardener are at the tip Push the plunger to dispense even amounts of resin and hardener onto a clean, disposable, contained surface. The package itself can be used as a mixing tray. If you flip the plastic blister shell over, you can use the small well as a starter dish to begin dispensing until both the resin and hardener are flowing equally. Once the flow is even, move to the larger mixing well to dispense your even ratio. Mix the two parts for about 20 seconds, until the mixture is uniform. Apply within 5 minutes. As you mix, you will notice that the epoxy warms up. This is a reaction that occurs as the resin and hardener combine.   Application After mixing is complete, apply Gorilla Epoxy within 5 minutes. The epoxy mixture will continue to thicken and the bond strength will decrease the longer you wait to apply.   Clamping To reach maximum bond strength, clamp project together and leave undisturbed. Important Cure Times Set: 5 minutes to apply and position Handling: Allow to cure for 30 minutes undisturbed (no weight or handling) Final Cure: Allow 24 hours for load-bearing weight Storage: To close, pull plunger slightly back. Wipe tip clean with dry cloth and align notch on tip and cap. Close tightly. Visit our FAQs for more information on what surfaces Gorilla Epoxy will bond, clean up information and more. FAQ Is Gorilla Epoxy gap filling? Yes. Gorilla Epoxy is gap filling. It will fill voids and bond uneven and vertical surfaces. If filling gaps outdoors, note that Gorilla Epoxy may yellow over time with exposure to sunlight. What is the shelf life? Are there storage tips to extend the shelf life? Shelf life for Gorilla Epoxy is a maximum of two years. The adhesive is not activated until the resin and hardener come in contact with one another, so the shelf life is likely to be much longer if the epoxy tip is wiped clean after each use and the cap is securely replaced. Make sure you notice the notch on the cap and be sure to align that with the notch on the syringe tip. This will further ensure the two parts do not accidentally mix. What is the best application temperature? For best results, apply in room temperature situations. Application in cold temperatures will slow the cure time of Gorilla Epoxy, while application in hot temperatures can speed up the cure time. Gorilla Epoxy’s cured bond withstands temperatures ranging from -23° to 82°C Do I need to use clamps with Gorilla Epoxy? How long? Clamps are recommended for use during setup to ensure the bond sets correctly. Set Time: 5 minutes to mix, apply and position Handling Time: Leave 30 minutes undisturbed (clamping is recommended) Full Cure Time: 24 hours for load-bearing weight How much Gorilla Epoxy do I apply? Gorilla Epoxy is a very strong adhesive. It does not take a lot to get a strong bond. Average coverage from our 25 mL epoxy syringe will cover 100 square inches. What can I use as a mixing tray or stir stick? A mixing tray and stir stick will be included in your Gorilla Epoxy package. Other ideas for mixing trays include aluminum foil trays, cardboard, or paper/plastic plates. Try using popsicle sticks, plastic utensils or straws for mixing. What is Gorilla Epoxy? Gorilla Epoxy is a two-part formula that requires equal parts of resin and hardener mixed together for activation. For best strength results, mix a 1-to-1 ratio of resin and hardener. Once mixed, Gorilla Epoxy is capable of bonding many materials and offers high strength results. How do I remove Gorilla Epoxy? Gorilla Epoxy is a very strong adhesive and is solvent resistant. Removing dried adhesive is difficult to do. Acetone will soften the epoxy; however, full removal will require mechanical means, such as scraping, rubbing, or sanding. Uncured Removal: Skin: Acetone, isopropyl alcohol, 2–3 washings with soap and water. Reminder: Cured glue requires mechanical means, such as rubbing or washing with exfoliating soaps. Hair: Isopropyl alcohol Clothes and Carpet: Isopropyl alcohol. For clothes and carpet, avoid acetone, soap and water, and mineral spirits, as they will not work well on fabric. What surfaces will Gorilla Epoxy bond? Gorilla Epoxy is very versatile. It boasts high-strength results for steel, wood, aluminum, ceramic, tile, glass, most plastics, pressure-treated lumber and much more! What surfaces will Gorilla Epoxy bond? Gorilla Epoxy is water resistant, which means it will resist moderate exposure to water but should not be fully submerged. If you need an adhesive that is 100% waterproof, check out our Original Gorilla Glue®. How do I dispense Gorilla Epoxy? Make sure all surfaces are clean, dry and free of oil. To improve adhesion, roughen up smooth surfaces with sandpaper before gluing. Remove black cap from the middle of the plunger. With tip pointing upward, snap end from the tip of the syringe. Slowly push plunger until resin and hardener are at the tip, then dispense evenly. The package blister can be used as a mixing tray. Mix for at least 20 seconds until the mixture is uniform. Apply to surface within 5 minutes. Clamp surfaces together or leave undisturbed for 30 minutes. To close, pull plunger slightly back. Wipe syringe tip with a clean, dry cloth then snap the black cap on tightly.

Interior and exterior Sauna or cabinet repairs in high heat areas Bonding Timber to other surfaces (metal etc) Cubby House with metal roof & floor lining Planter boxes Steps leading off a verandah Timber letterbox to a metal support frame Window frame Decorative timber to a pergola Interior panels of a boat Repairing wooden boat oars Repairing wooden handles on tools Timber joinery Laminating chopping boards Requires atmospheric moisture to cure, therefore use may be restricted in dry conditions (refer to tips for advice) Cannot be used if application temperature is below 5°C For best results, one surface should be porous Not suitable for below waterline applications or continuous submersion, for this we recommend Knead-It Aqua Not recommended for structural applications Not recommended for vertical projects due to runny consistency While Aquadhere Durabond can adhere to damp surfaces excess moisture can result in increased foaming and a weakened joint. Ensure tight clamping or weighting to reduce foaming Surfaces should be clamped tightly or weighted What materials is this product suitable for? MDF Glass Metal Concrete Ceramic Most plastics (will not adhere to polyethylene or polypropylene, test other plastics first). All timbers How to use this product Surfaces to be bonded must be close fitting, clean, dust and grease free. Wipe very dry porous surfaces with a damp cloth 1 minute before bonding. Apply a thin layer of adhesive evenly to one surface only. Glue expands and foams as it cures. Assemble parts together within 10 minutes and clamp firmly or weight to hold until cured. Wipe nozzle clean and seal container tightly. (to prevent remaining product from hardening in the container). Wipe away any excess adhesive immediately with acetone. After drying, any excess adhesive can only be removed by scraping, sanding, filing or cutting. Clean tools with acetone or white turpetine immediatly after use (before adhesive dries). Handy tips 1L covers approx. 8m2 It is advisable to wear gloves (adhesive bonds to skin and is extremely difficult to remove from skin). For bonding with smooth surface materials such as glass, plastics or metals, we suggested sanding or roughening the surface. The tighter you clamp, the better bond you will obtain (as Durabond expands). Wipe nozzle clean and seal container tightly. (to prevent remaining product from hardening in the container.) Wipe oily timber surfaces with acetone on a clean rag to remove any surface oils & allow to dry before applying adhesive. In extremely dry conditions or for extremely dry surfaces (eg terracotta) wipe surfaces with a damp rag prior to bonding to ensure sufficent moisture is present to cure product. Surfaces should not be wet. It is recommended to use the entire contents of a pack within 6 months of opening. Product may form a hard skin on the surface during this period. Usable material is normally still present beneath this skin and can be accessed by breaking the hardened layer. For cleaning surfaces prior to application of adhesive, if the surface is porous, we would recommend using SELLEYS Liquid Sugar Soap. If the surface is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with mineral turpentine and then again with methylated spirits. If there is old, difficult to remove residue such as old paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as SELLEYS Kwik Strip Smart. Ensure the surface is dry before applying the product. If glue comes in contact with hands, use acetone or white spirits to remove immediately and then rinse off with soapy water followed by hand creme. Alternatively wipe hands regularly while using Aquadhere Durabond. Once cured, adhesive is extremely difficult to remove from skin. If cured material is discovered on the skin, then rub vegetable oil or Vitamin E cream into the area repeatedly to accelerate the natural process of the skin shedding, which will in turn cause the cured product to fall off. Safety tips Contains organic isocyanate polymers. On contact, uncured adhesive can irritate eyes. If in eyes, flood the eyes for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice. Avoid contact with skin, if contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing or flush skin and hair with running water. Avoid breathing vapours. Ensure use in a well-ventilated area. Product releases methyl ethyl ketoxime while curing. For advice, contact a Poisons Information Centre (AUS 131 126; NZ 0800 764 766) or a doctor. Warning: this product contains organic isocyanate polymers. This product has been classified as hazardous according to the criteria of NOHSC and HSNO. For further detail on the safe use of this product, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet, which can be downloaded from this site. Keep away from children. Storage and re-use Clean tools with acetone or white spirit immediately after use (before adhesive dried). Storage – For maximum shelf life store inside at moderate temperatures in dry conditions. Keep tightly closed to prevent moisture and air contact. It is recommended to use the entire contents of a pack within 6 months of opening. Best for Bonding glass where a primerless system is specified Automotive and transport glazing carried out by trained users Suitable surfaces The adhesive works well on the following surface types when properly prepared: Compatible glass substrates Painted frames and prepared bodywork per Sika guidance Surface preparation Good preparation is the key to a long lasting repair. Bring surfaces together within the stated open time of observe skin time and install components within this window. Cure profile Moisture cure technology forms a strong, elastic bond. Skin forms first, followed by through cure depending on joint depth and humidity. Temperature and environmental performance Do not apply below the minimum stated on pack. Maintain adequate humidity for moisture cure. Clean up and finishing Remove fresh adhesive with suitable cleaner. Once cured, trim with a sharp blade using care. Storage and shelf life Store cartridges cool and dry. Check use by dates before installation in critical work.

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Gorilla Ultimate Strong Wood Glue 532 mL is a reliable high performance wood glue for interior and exterior carpentry chosen for home repairs, trade work, and craft builds when you want a bond you can trust. Designed for Australian conditions, it balances strength, ease of use, and clean application so you can get professional results without special tools. The 532 mL pack is ideal for general work and keeps neatly in a toolbox or caddy. Why choose Gorilla Ultimate for your next project Everyday jobs often involve mixed materials and imperfect surfaces. Gorilla Ultimate Strong Wood Glue 532 mL has been formulated to wet out well, grab quickly, and cure to a tough finish that resists movement and contact stress. It maintains bond integrity across common temperature swings and has dependable resistance to moisture and most household chemicals. Whether you are fixing, building, sealing, or assembling, this product gives you confidence from first squeeze through final set. Best for Furniture build and repair Edge bonding and laminations Cabinetry and joinery where water resistance is valued Suitable surfaces The adhesive works well on the following surface types when properly prepared: Hardwoods and softwoods Plywood and MDF Veneers and end grain with correct technique Surface preparation Good preparation is the key to a long lasting repair. Bring surfaces together within the stated open time of typically 5 to 10 minutes depending on temperature. Cure profile Open time allows assembly before clamping. Forms a strong cross linked bond that is water resistant when fully cured. Temperature and environmental performance Use above 10 C and avoid freezing conditions while curing. Clean up and finishing Wipe squeeze out with a damp cloth while wet. Scrape or sand once cured. Storage and shelf life Close the cap tightly and store upright. Do not allow the nozzle to clog; remove dried film if present.
