Description
30 Seconds Mould Off is a ready-to-use spray for treating and removing mould and mildew from hard surfaces around the home, supplied here in a 1 litre trigger bottle. It is a quick, no-scrub option for bathrooms, kitchens and laundries that also cleans, sanitises and deodorises as it works.
About the formula
A hypochlorite-based, pre-mixed cleaner, so there is no measuring or diluting. The manufacturer describes the formula as fully biodegradable. The aim is simple: spray it on, let it work briefly, then rinse or wipe away the mould and mildew staining without hard scrubbing. It also makes a handy preparation step before painting, varnishing or staining mouldy surfaces.
Where to use it
Indoors: shower recesses and tiles, grout lines, sinks, benchtops, bath mats and seals, glass, painted walls and ceilings in bathrooms, kitchens, laundries and other damp areas.
Outdoors: designed mainly as an interior cleaner, but suitable for hard, colourfast surfaces in and around the home. Always test a small hidden area first.
Suitable surfaces listed by the manufacturer include acrylics, benchtop materials, ceramic, chrome, glass, painted surfaces, porcelain, rubber, stainless steel, tiles, soft vinyl and painted wood.
How to use it
Read the label before you start, and test in a hidden spot first. Shake the bottle well and spray evenly over the affected surface. Leave it for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the stains soften or disappear, and do not leave it on for more than 5 minutes. Then rinse with water or wipe down thoroughly with a damp cloth. Reapply if needed for stubborn marks. Never mix it with other chemicals.
Important notes
Avoid using it on fabric, untreated metals, aged powder-coated surfaces and high-gloss paintwork, as it may dull, discolour or bleach them. It is also not recommended on cracked or porous surfaces, unsealed metals, enamel or brass. If any change appears during testing, stop using it straight away. Do not leave the product on a surface for a prolonged period. This is a cleaning product, not a protective coating, so mould can return in damp areas without good ventilation.

Safety
Use in a well-ventilated area and wear gloves and eye protection when spraying, especially on ceilings and overhead surfaces. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing, and wash your hands after use. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and store in a cool place with the bottle closed.
