Description
Cyclone Pet Mesh is a tough polyester flyscreen made for doors and windows that get a hard life, supplied here as a 1220mm wide x 2m long roll. The heavy-gauge mesh is designed to stand up to paws, claws and small hands, so it suits homes with pets and kids where ordinary screen wears out quickly.
About the product
Pet Mesh is a heavy-gauge polyester insect screen engineered to resist tearing from the raking claws of most dogs and cats. The strands are thermo-bonded, so the weave stays flat without warped strands. Cyclone rates it as around six times stronger than standard fibreglass flyscreen, and it has more flex than fibreglass, which helps it absorb impact. It is weather resistant and will not rot, shrink or stain.
Where to use it
Indoors: screen doors and windows, laundry and kitchen openings, and pet-friendly or kid-friendly areas where the screen is often pushed or scratched.
Outdoors: screen doors, windows and enclosures that face the weather, including high-traffic entries to patios and decks.
How to use it
Measure the frame, then cut the mesh a little larger than the opening. Hold it taut across the frame and fix it in place with spline, working evenly around the frame so the screen stays flat and tight. Trim off the excess once it is secure. A 2m length makes it a good fit for replacing one or two screens or for repairing a damaged panel.

Important notes
Pet Mesh has a coarser, heavier weave than fine view screens, so it will not look as clear as lighter screens such as Cyclone Pureview. It is built to resist damage rather than to offer the clearest view. Spline and a spline roller are not included. Check the fit of your frame and spline groove before cutting.

Care and storage
Wear gloves when cutting and handling to protect your hands from the cut edges. Clean the installed screen gently with a soft brush or a cloth and mild soapy water, then rinse and let it dry. Store the roll flat or standing upright in a dry spot, and avoid crushing or creasing it before installation.
