No bubbling when properly embedded in compound for a flat, reliable seam.
-
Works with most compounds including setting type and ready mixed formulas.

- Butt and tapered edge joints
- Repairs to cracked or previously patched seams
- High traffic areas that need extra durability
How to use
-
Prep Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust. Lightly bevel cut edges if required.
-
Bed coat Apply an even layer of joint compound over the seam at least the width of the tape.
-
Embed Place the FibaFuse tape into the wet compound and press firmly with a taping knife to remove air pockets.
-
Cover Apply a thin coat over the tape to fully conceal the mesh. Allow to dry or set as per the compound directions.
-
Build Apply one or two wider coats, feathering the edges for a flat transition. Let each coat dry before the next.
-
Finish Lightly sand, prime, and paint.
Pro tips
- Keep knife pressure firm during embedding to avoid bubbles.
- Use a wider knife for second and third coats to reduce sanding.
- Prime before painting for a consistent sheen across joints and boards.
