Description
The Tactix Tough Case in Small is a compact, impact-resistant hard case for protecting fragile or valuable items, with a dust-tight, water-resistant IP65 rating. It suits tools, electronics, camera gear, instruments and small parts that need protection at home, on site or on the move.
About the product
The case has a tough outer shell with a sealed lid that gives IP65-level protection against dust and splashing water. Heavy duty latches and a carry handle make it easy to close and carry. A pressure relief valve equalises the air pressure inside and out, so the lid still opens easily after a change in altitude or temperature. Inside, a pick and pull foam insert lets you tear out squares to shape cut-outs that hold your gear snugly. The case is also pre-drilled for padlocks for extra security.
Where to use it
Indoors: keep small tools, electronics, hobby kits and delicate items safe in the garage, workshop or home office.
Outdoors: carry gear to the jobsite, campsite or boat, with protection from dust, rain and general knocks.

- No assembly required
To set up, open the latches, pluck out foam squares to suit the shape of your items, place them inside, then close the lid firmly and secure both latches. For extra security, fit padlocks through the padlock holes.
Important notes
IP65 covers dust and low-pressure water jets. It does not mean the case is designed to be submerged. Make sure the lid seal is clean and the latches are fully closed before exposing the case to wet conditions. Once foam has been removed it cannot be put back, so measure your items before you start plucking.

Care and storage
Wipe the case clean with a damp cloth and let it dry before storing. Keep the lid seal free of grit so it keeps sealing well. Store the case closed in a cool, dry place out of direct sun when not in use. Keep small items stored inside out of reach of young children.
