Description
The Trojan 400mm Tool Tote is a tough, open-top carry bag with 16 pockets, made for keeping everyday hand tools sorted and easy to reach on the job or around the home. It suits DIYers and tradies who want a simple, hardwearing way to carry and organise tools without lugging a bulky toolbox.
About the product
The tote is made from 600D polyester, a hardwearing woven fabric used for bags that get regular knocks. Its 16 pockets give you separate spots for screwdrivers, pliers, tape measures, knives and other small tools. Reinforced rubber feet lift the base off the ground and help the tote sit steadily when you put it down. A rigid carry handle keeps the grip comfortable when the bag is loaded. The tote is not magnetised. Trojan backs the range with a lifetime warranty.
Where to use it
Indoors: carry tools from room to room for renovations, repairs and flat-pack assembly, or keep a tidy set of essentials ready in the garage, workshop or laundry cupboard.
Outdoors: take tools out to the yard, deck or site, using the rubber feet to keep the base off damp or rough ground.
How to use it
- Sort tools into the pockets by type so the ones you use most are quick to grab.
- Put longer or heavier tools in the main compartment and smaller items in the pockets.
- Lift and carry the tote by the rigid handle, and set it down on its rubber feet.
- Pack sharp tools with their guards or covers on.
Important notes
Do not overload the bag beyond what the handle and stitching can comfortably carry. Keep the tote away from sharp edges and heat sources. Because it is a fabric tote, it is not a sealed or lockable case, so use a hard toolbox where you need extra protection or security. No load rating has been published, so use sensible judgement on weight.

Care and storage
Empty the tote and shake out dust and debris after use. Wipe the fabric with a damp cloth if it gets dirty and let it dry fully before storing. Store it in a dry, ventilated spot and keep tools clean and dry before packing them away, to help prevent rust and moisture build-up.
