Yates Home Pest Cockroach Killer Gel Bait is a ready-to-use gel bait that targets cockroaches in the home, supplied in a 10g syringe for neat, precise placement. A protein-based attractant draws cockroaches to the gel, and the slightly delayed action gives them time to carry it back to the harbourage so the bait can reach cockroaches you never see.
About the formula
The bait is a smooth gel with a protein-based attractant to make it appealing to foraging cockroaches. The active ingredient is indoxacarb. Because the effect is not instant, affected cockroaches return to their hiding spots and the bait is passed on to others they contact, which helps knock down the hidden part of the population. Yates states that it works on American and German cockroaches as well as other types, and that one syringe provides up to 100 bait placements.
Where to use it
Indoors: place small gel spots where cockroaches like to shelter and travel, such as under appliances and around sinks and pipes. Always choose spots that children and pets cannot reach.
Outdoors: where outdoor use suits your situation, apply only in protected spots that children, pets and other animals cannot access, and keep the gel away from drains and waterways.
How to use it
Remove the cap from the end of the syringe, touch the nozzle to the surface and lightly press the plunger to dispense the gel. Apply 2 to 5 spots of about 5mm diameter per square metre. Use the higher rate for heavier infestations or when treating American cockroaches. Replace the cap after use.
Important notes
Do not apply gel to surfaces that food touches, and keep open food away from the gel. Do not apply it to surfaces that get hotter than 50 degrees C, such as parts of stoves, because the gel can soften and lose performance. Do not leave gel in exposed areas accessible to children or animals, and do not let the gel or empty packaging get into drains, sewers, streams or ponds.

Safety
Wash your hands after use. Keep the bait out of reach of children and pets at all times, and store the syringe in its closed, original container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To dispose of the empty syringe, wrap it in paper, place it in a plastic bag and put it in the garbage. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for full details.
