All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dirt dust, oil and loose rust. Clean surfaces with mineral turpentine and wipe dry with a clean rag before applying. Painted surfaces should not be flaky or peeling.
Cut tip off cartridge and cut nozzle to suitable size opening (approximately 5mm).
Fit nozzle to cartridge. Place cartridge into caulking gun.
Support bond until adhesive cures sufficiently (at least 48 hours adhesive cures at 2mm depth per day).
APPLICATION FOR MIRRORS
For mirrors up to 6mm thick, apply strips of adhesive 5cm from edges and approx 8cm apart
When mirror is pressed onto the wall, strips of adhesive must not spread into, or touch one another. A gap must remain between them.
Immediately after applying adhesive, place mirror against wall before adhesive skins (within 5 minutes)
The weight must be supported and mirror must be held in place with temporary supports (e.g. with clips or tape) to hold and maintain adhesive contact over the total bond area until sufficient adhesive strength has developed. Normally after 72 hours.
Do not seal around the edges of the mirror for at least a week to allow air circulation and aid the adhesive fully cure
Mirrors should not be fixed directly to unpainted plaster, timber, concrete or brick walls. These surfaces should be painted to prevent potential damage to mirror. Painted surfaces should not be flaking or peeling.
Not recommended for fixing vinyl back mirrors
If in doubt, conduct an adhesion test by curing a little adhesive onto mirror backing for 24 hours. If adhesive can be peeled off, do not proceed.
GENERAL APPLICATION
Apply as for mirrors and press surfaces together immediately
Leave ‘squeeze out ‘ to cure and trim (avoid cutting into the bond)
Support bond until adhesive cures sufficiently (normally after 72hrs). Adhesive cures at 2mm depth per day.

Selleys N Mastic is a non-hardening, waterproof sealing putty designed for a wide range of applications where long-lasting flexibility is crucial. Ideal for sealing joints, gaps around windows, and roofing, it ensures that structures remain protected from water ingress. The unique formula remains pliable, making it perfect for environments where movement and expansion are expected.
Whether you're sealing an outdoor roof gutter, securing window frames, or filling gaps in an air conditioning system, Selleys N Mastic provides a professional-grade finish with no cracking or crumbling. The product is also suitable for metal, glass, concrete, and brick, making it a versatile solution for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
N-Mastic is a non-skinning polybutene-based compound. It will remain permanently soft and paste-like.
Uses
N-Mastic is suitable for sealing concealed lap joints between plastics, metals, timber, glass, masonry, and expanded foam panels.
It may be used in the installation of cool rooms, prefabricated construction and gasket sealed windscreens to exclude draughts and water penetration through joints in materials.
Technical Features
Non-hardening – remains permanently flexible to provide a lasting seal
Good adhesion – adheres well to most substrates
Moisture resistance – provides an excellent barrier to moisture vapour
Microbe resistance – resists microbial attack
Low shrinkage – avoids the risk of sealant pulling away from joint surfaces
Wide service temperatures – withstands –40oC to +80oC service conditions
Application Tips
Due to the non-skinning, non-hardening nature of the sealant, N-Mastic should not be used in exposed joints where dirt pick-up or hand contact can be a problem.
As N-Mastic is not elastomeric, it should not be used in areas subject to considerable dynamic stress.
Although N-Mastic is resistant to static pressures, a curing sealant is recommended where this is a critical factor.
N-Mastic is not recommended for sealing lap joints in mobile homes, truck bodies, etc., as significant vibration and flexing occur during travel.

How To Use
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease, flaking/powdery paint and old or crumbling caulk.
Cut seal and nozzle and fit to cartridge. Insert into a quality caulking gun such as Selleys Light Speed caulking gun.
Apply with caulking gun, forcing product into gap.
Smooth with a wet spatula, ensuring sufficient product remains in joint.
Clean up with a damp cloth immediately.
Allow to skin (about 30 minutes) before painting with water-based paints. If oil-based paints are to be used, or if gaps are large, allow sealant to set for about 24 hours and ensure the product is completely cured.
Protect from water until firmly skinned. Allow for longer skin and cure times in damp conditions.
Limitations:
For new weatherboard, check weatherboard manufacturers instructions before using this product
Note that in very harsh conditions, joints between boards may expand beyond products movement capability. In such cases re-apply product and paint over.
Not suitable for areas of continuous water immersion eg ponds
Not suitable for application at below 5°C
Protect from rain until the product has firmly skinned, and allow longer skin and cure times in damp conditions.
Handy Tips
Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up.
When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of gap filler.
If you are going to wipe off the excess gap filler with a wet finger, ensure you wet your finger with water and not saliva, as saliva contains bacteria and this will increase the chances of mould growing in your gap filler.
Allow the surfaces to skin prior to painting, which is approximately 30 minutes. Protect from rain until firmly skinned. Allow for longer skin and cure times in damp conditions.
Some water based under coats and flat paints may crack on drying. To reduce this effect, allow the product to cure for 24 hours in small gaps or 48 hours in larger gaps before painting with such paints.
For maximum durability on bare exterior surfaces, apply a coat of acrylic paint and allow to dry, before applying this gap sealant. Always paint over with a quality exterior paint.
To ensure you get a professional finish ensure you paint with a good quality paint and paint brush. Painting with a good brush ensures the finish and durability of the paint is increased. We recommend a 50mm Edger Brush, as the cut angle of the bristles takes the work out of applying paint.
Keep a pack of Selleys Sugar Soap Wipes handy to wipe up any spills and for cleaning. They are an easy and effective way to keep clean on the job.

Selleys Oven Plus Heavy Duty Gel is a powerful, low-fume cleaning solution formulated to remove baked-on grease and grime from ovens, cookware and bakeware. Its thick gel formula clings to vertical surfaces for deep cleaning with minimal scrubbing. Designed for warm-surface application, it delivers excellent results without harsh fumes.
Surface Preparation
Ensure the area is well ventilated before starting.
Remove loose debris, racks, trays and oven accessories.
Warm the oven slightly (no hotter than 90 °C), then turn it off and allow it to cool for 10 minutes before applying the gel.
Protect surrounding surfaces such as benchtops and floors from splashes.
Wear protective gloves and safety goggles when handling the product.
Application Instructions
Shake the tube well before use.
Apply a thin, even layer of gel using the integrated brush or a dry sponge.
Coat surfaces in order: back wall, sides, oven floor, ceiling, and door.
Allow the gel to dwell for approximately 30 minutes. Do not let it dry out.
Wipe off with a damp cloth. For stubborn spots, use a non-scratch scourer.
Rinse thoroughly with water and dry before reassembling oven parts.
For trays and racks, apply gel evenly, leave for 30 minutes, then rinse and dry.
If cleaning carbon steel or cast iron cookware, dry and oil immediately to prevent rust.
Coverage
A 400 g tube typically covers a standard oven interior and racks in one application, depending on the level of buildup and thickness of application.
Drying / Dwell Time
Allow the product to sit for around 30 minutes. Do not exceed the recommended dwell time. Wipe and rinse thoroughly once the gel has loosened the grime.
Cleanup
Remove residues with a damp cloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any remaining product. Avoid rinsing directly into drains. Dispose of waste according to local guidelines.

How to use this product
Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up.
When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of sealant.
Remove the tape before the sealant skins.
For a better finish use a spatula dipped in detergent and water to tool off the sealant.
Allow the surfaces to skin prior to painting, which is approximately 30 minutes. Protect from rain until firmly skinned. Allow for longer skin and cure times in damp conditions.
Some water based under coats & flat paints may crack on drying. To reduce this effect allows the product to cure for 24 hours in small gaps or 48 hours in larger gaps before painting with such paints.
To improve the paint finish, wipe the sealant with detergent solution immediately before painting.
Avoid smearing sealant on the surrounding surfaces as this may effects its paintability.
Work in sections that can be completed before sealant skins. Tooling off and tape removal must be completed before skinning occurs or a rough surface may result so working in sections allows for a better finish.
Keep a pack of SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipes handy to wipe up any spills and for cleaning any material off the skin before it cures. They are an easy and effective way to keep clean on the job.
Safety tips
Uncured product may irritate eyes. If in eyes, flood the eyes for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice.
Avoid contact with skin, if contact occurs, wipe off immediately and wash with detergent. It may irrtate sensitive skin.
Avoid breathing in vapours.
Ensure you use a well ventilated area as product releases methyl ethyl ketoxime while curing.
For advice, contact a Poisons Information Centre (AUS 131 126; NZ 0800 764 766) or a doctor.
For further detail on the safe use of this product, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet, which can be downloaded from this site.
Keep away from children.
Storage and re-use
Store in cool dry conditions, below 30°C
The sealant should be used within 6 months after opening.
After use keep the nozzle on the cartridge
Silicone is a reactive product and is designed to cure once exposed to air. While the product may be stored for a few months once opened, it does have a limited shelf life. Storage in an upright position in a cool dry place is recommended to maximise the storage life.
If the sealant is going to be used again within a few days, leave the nozzle on and merely extrude approximately 2 cm of product before storing the cartridge upright. This will cure to a plug which can easily be pulled out when required.
For longer storage periods, leave the nozzle on and place a piece of plasticene or Blu Tack over the end of the nozzle. Tightly tape a piece of aluminium foil over the whole nozzle to exclude any air.
When you want to re-use the product, simply take off the foil and plug from the old nozzle pull out the excess silicone from the nozzle with a corkscrew, then re-pierce any cure at the tip of the cartridge and re-use.
If cure has taken place into the cartridge, the product is unlikely to be in a useable state and should be discarded.

How to Use
Use in a well ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Thoroughly clean and dry surface from oil, dirt and grease with mineral turps.
Cut the seal at the top of the cartridge and cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, to the size of the gap opening. Fit the nozzle to the top of the cartridge and insert the cartridge into a caulking gun such as Selleys Light Speed Caulking gun.
Hold the caulking gun at a 45° angle and gun sealant ahead of nozzle ensuring product is pushed into joint.
For a smooth finish, tool with a spatula dipped in soapy water. Clean up before sealant skins in 5-10 minutes, with a cloth dampened in mineral turps.
Sealant will cure in 72 hours. At this point any unneeded sealant can be removed by trimming with a sharp blade, but avoid under-cutting the seal.
Limitation:
• Not paintable. Complete painting 7 days prior to applying sealant.
• Not recommended for use as a plug for burst pipes.
• Do not use in below waterline applications.
^Not for use on polyethylene, polypropylene or Teflon - pre-test plastics before use
Handy tips
For neater joints, mask sides before applying sealant and remove tape before sealant skins.
When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of silicone sealant.
For a better finish use a spatula dipped in mineral turps or soapy water to tool off the sealant.
Work in sections that can be completed before sealant skins. Tooling off and tape removal must be completed before skinning occurs or a rough surface may result, so working in sections allows for a better finish.

EVA foam (e.g Desert boots sole)
How to use this product
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dirt or grease. Remove cap and carefully pierce seal.
For larger area repairs such as shoe soles, we recommend you use the contact bond method:
For quick and even bonding, apply to one surface only, press together and pull apart. Keep apart until the adhesive film is almost dry (approx. 10 – 20 minutes).
Carefully line up surfaces to be joined and press surfaces firmly together. Bonds immediately on contact. Clamping may be necessary in some applications.
For smaller areas, either use the contact method as above, or join with a wet bond:
Apply Shoe Glue to one surface only and immediately press together. Lightly clamp or hold until dry.
Allow adhesive to achieve maximum bond strength (24 hours) before wearing your repaired shoe/s.
Wipe nozzle clean and replace cap immediately after use. Clean up application tools and excess adhesive with turps before it dries.
Handy tips
A piece of plastic from a takeaway container makes a good applicator for shoe soles.
Bulldog clips are handy to use for clamping straps and other small areas.
