Expose joined parts to UV sunlight or halogen lamp. In strong sunlight, a clear bond develops in 30 seconds. For cloudy conditions, allow 1-2 minutes. Bond strength continues to develop over 24 hours. 6. Excess cured adhesive can be removed with a blade. 7. After use, wipe syringe tip and recap. Store upright. Hold the caulking gun at a 45° angle and gun sealant ahead of nozzle ensuring product is pushed into joint. For a smooth finish, tool with a spatula dipped in soapy water. The product will reharden once returned to room temperature. Position the items carefully, still keeping surfaces apart with dowels or heavy craft paper and working from one edge press surfaces firmly together. Secure bond by running a roller over the bonded surfaces or else by hammering the surface from the centre outwards using a padded block. For bonding other materials, apply as for laminated plastics above. When small surface areas are to be joined a wet bond may be used. Simply apply Gel Grip to one surface then bring the surfaces together and clamp until dry. Ensure that the tube is not squeezed while the seal is being pierced. Replace plastic nozzle. Surfaces to be bonded should fit exactly and should be clean, dry and free of dust, dirt and grease. Apply a drop of Supa Glue to only one of the surfaces to be joined. Use sparingly. Do NOT spread. (Note: One drop covers an area 25mm x 25mm)KEEP FINGERS AWAY FROM EXCESS ADHESIVE SO THEY WILL NOT STICK TOGETHER. Quickly align both surfaces and apply slight pressure to ensure effective spreading and bond. Should you fail to align the surfaces correctly, do not attempt to re-align them and bond together again. Keep apart and completely clean the surfaces (with acetone or nail polish remover). When dry, re-apply adhesive, re-align and bond again. (Please Note: NOT ALL Nail Polish Removers are ACETONE.) Although the adhesive will grab after several minutes to provide sufficient bond strength for practical use, maximum bond strength is achieved after 12 hours. Wipe tip of tube and replace cap. Handy tips Once open, Supa Glue has a limited shelf life (i.e. up to 1 year provided the tip is wiped clean and the cap replaced securely after each use). Supa Glue vapour can produce a whitening effect in enclosed spaces. To avoid this use in well ventilated areas. Storing in a refrigerator can reduce the risk of hardening in the tube. Liquid Nails Fast is a water-based high strength (*) construction adhesive with fast grab and low odour. It has a thick, non-runny consistency and is ideal for adhering timbers and other porous construction materials. After drying it is beige (light tan) in colour. Uses Liquid Nails Fast has high initial (immediate) grab which reduces the need to support joins while the adhesive cures. The initial grab works best with porous surfaces. It will bond to many building materials including MDF, particle board, timber, plaster board, styrene foam, masonry, concrete, tiles, ceramics, metals, plastics*, rubber and glass. Faster results are achieved when at least one surface is porous. In areas affected by moisture such as bathrooms, kitchens and laundries we recommend using products specially designed to resist mould growth. Before starting on your walls, it's a good idea to clear your bathroom or kitchen of accessories and appliances. Use good quality drop sheets to avoid getting paint and dust on benchtops, sinks and floor surfaces. You'll need: Poly Sugar Soap Polyfilla Bathroom & Kitchen A flexible filling blade Fine sandpaper A soft brush Painters tape Ensure your walls have no remaining nails, pins, etc. With fine sandpaper, remove lumps, bumps and any paint flakes. Remove all loose materials. Before application, metal surfaces such as nails and screws should be treated with an appropriate rust resistant primer. Stir into a smooth paste (if the filler is too dry, just add a few drops of water). Press filler into hole with a filling knife, smoothing off with a wet filling knife. For holes deeper than 5 cm, apply in layers, with sufficient drying time between the layers. No sanding is required. If sanding, wait for 24 hours. If painting over with an oil-based finish, wait 14 days. Must be painted over when used outside (minimum 2 coats). Colour: White. Not suitable for drilling. Clean tools and hands immediately after use with warm water. Do not store or use below 5 ° C.

Once dry, sand the filler so it is even with the surface and dust off. Finish with a stain, varnish or paint. The filler may stain or varnish differently to the surrounding wood. Clean-up: After cleaning, wet any tissue used for wiping off the glue with water and dispose of. When cleaning up larger quantities of uncured adhesive, apply water and allow to cure and then scrape up. Note this may result in damage to the surfaces. Cured adhesive may be cut away with caution using a sharp blade, removed with acetone or with boiling water.
