In Stock - Ready to ship  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Selleys Spakfilla Heavy Duty is a multi-purpose, tough and durable, light grey ready-mixed filler.  Features Suitable for interior and exterior applications Good adhesions to most surfaces Water and weather resistant Fill cracks and holes in a single application Pre-mixed and ready to use Minimal shrinkage so no need to overfill Very fast drying allowing sanding and painting in a short time period Comes complete with a filling spatula for ease of use Water-based, so can be cleaned up with water Paintable with oil and water-based paints Where can this product be used? Filling holes, dents, cracks or chips in interior and exterior applications where no structural movement occurs    What materials is this product suitable for? Mortar Masonry Concrete Wood Stone Primed metal surfaces Brick Plaster Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of loose material. Using the flexible spatula provided on the lid, press the filler firmly into the crack or hole and smooth off surface; there is no need to overfill. For deeper cracks, apply in 6mm layers allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. Lightly sand back any excess filler from the surface after product dries (2-3 hours for 2mm applications). Dust off any loose dust before applying undercoat and painting with water-based paints or oil-based paints.  Limitations: Product is not flexible so not suitable for use between surfaces that are subject to the structural movement - use Selleys No More Gaps. Avoid using below 5°C or in wet conditions. Painting with oil-based paints is not recommended until 24 hours after the filler has been applied. Water-based paints may be used immediately after the filler has set. If the filler is found to have stiffened prior to use, stir product. The product that has actually hardened should be discarded. If still too dry add one teaspoon of water and stir again to desired consistency. Application tools may be cleaned with water. Before painting, clean dust and filler particles using Selleys Sugar Soap or Selleys Super Kleen. In exterior applications, protect from rain until dry and painted over with 2 coats of paint. Some paints may temporarily discolour when applied over the filler, but will revert to the correct colour once dry. For applications more than 2mm deep, or in cold or humid conditions, expect longer drying times. Keep container closed when not in use.

Selleys No More Gaps Exterior is a specially formulated flexible gap filler, with superior weather, UV and mould resistance to protect against harsh external elements such as rain, wind and UV rays. It can be painted over with both water and oil based paints, so you can give your house the professional finish it deserves. Also available in easy tube format. Features Superior flexibility to cope with building movement, meaning the cracks and gaps will be hidden for longer. Has greater than 500% elongation/stretch and up to +/- 25% joint movement capability. Superior adhesion to a broad range of surfaces, resulting in a lasting finish. Has good resistance to weathering Contains a titanium compound for superior UV resistance. Contains a fungicide and algaecide to protect against unsightly mould and algae growth. Can be painted over with both water and oil based paints, after the surface has skinned. (Approximately 30 minutes after application).. Wide joints are best left for 48 hours before painting as some paints shrink during drying that can cause the paint to crack. Is formulated for long term resistance to cracking and crumbling. Is water based, so can be cleaned up with water. Will not stain building materials. Where can this product be used? Between exterior window and door frames Fascia boards and eaves Masonry Walls Tiling Timber & synthetic weatherboards Brickwork Fences Where shrinkage or movement has caused rigid fillers to crack Gaps with a maximum width of 25mm & depth of 12mm What materials is this product suitable for? Timber Brick & Concrete Fibre cement sheeting, plasterboard Masonry Ceramic Tiles Glass Aluminium & other metals Many other building surfaces How To Use Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease, flaking/powdery paint and old or crumbling caulk. Cut seal and nozzle and fit to cartridge. Insert into a quality caulking gun such as Selleys Light Speed caulking gun. Apply with caulking gun, forcing product into gap. Smooth with a wet spatula, ensuring sufficient product remains in joint. Clean up with a damp cloth immediately. Allow to skin (about 30 minutes) before painting with water-based paints. If oil-based paints are to be used, or if gaps are large, allow sealant to set for about 24 hours and ensure the product is completely cured. Protect from water until firmly skinned. Allow for longer skin and cure times in damp conditions. Limitations: For new weatherboard, check weatherboard manufacturers instructions before using this product Note that in very harsh conditions, joints between boards may expand beyond products movement capability. In such cases re-apply product and paint over. Not suitable for areas of continuous water immersion eg ponds Not suitable for application at below 5°C Protect from rain until the product has firmly skinned, and allow longer skin and cure times in damp conditions. Handy Tips Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up. When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of gap filler. If you are going to wipe off the excess gap filler with a wet finger, ensure you wet your finger with water and not saliva, as saliva contains bacteria and this will increase the chances of mould growing in your gap filler. Allow the surfaces to skin prior to painting, which is approximately 30 minutes. Protect from rain until firmly skinned. Allow for longer skin and cure times in damp conditions. Some water based under coats and flat paints may crack on drying. To reduce this effect, allow the product to cure for 24 hours in small gaps or 48 hours in larger gaps before painting with such paints. For maximum durability on bare exterior surfaces, apply a coat of acrylic paint and allow to dry, before applying this gap sealant. Always paint over with a quality exterior paint. To ensure you get a professional finish ensure you paint with a good quality paint and paint brush. Painting with a good brush ensures the finish and durability of the paint is increased. We recommend a 50mm Edger Brush, as the cut angle of the bristles takes the work out of applying paint. Keep a pack of Selleys Sugar Soap Wipes handy to wipe up any spills and for cleaning. They are an easy and effective way to keep clean on the job.

Selleys Liquid Nails Rapid Cure is an advanced, high-performance polyurethane construction adhesive that cures in just 10 minutes*. It provides a durable, waterproof bond even when bonding two non-porous surfaces. Features Fast cure in 10 minutes*. More than twice the strength of conventional solvent-based construction adhesives. Waterproof – Uncompromising durability, with excellent water, weather and heat resistance. Can be used to bond most materials, and for most interior & exterior applications. Its advanced formulation exceeds the requirements of BS-EN204 D4 for durability. Resistant (after full cure) to heat to 100 degrees C and cold to -30 degrees C. See “Limitations” below. Does not drip, sag or string between panels. Bridges gap up to 5mm hence can be used on rough and ill-fitting construction materials. Product expands slightly as it cures. The dried adhesive is paintable. *Expect longer times for very dry timber, heavier objects and less porous surfaces or in colder weather.  *Limitations – Not suitable for sole fixing or structural bonding. Where can this product be used? Liquid Nails Rapid Cure can be used for applications where higher performance characteristics are necessary. These include applications where: Extra water resistance is essential. eg. Exterior applications such as decking. Extra strength is required. Extra temperature resistance is required. eg. Applications where metal substrates are exposed to direct sunlight. Plastic substrates which are sensitive to solvent-based adhesives are used. Metal installations in which solvent-based adhesives will be slow to cure. Liquid Nails Waterproof is also suitable for typical construction applications such as: Sheet flooring to joists Metal or aluminium door strips to floors or walls Timber or fibre cement sheeting to cement block or brick walls Masonite What materials is this product suitable for? Timber MDF Plasterboard Plastics (Pre-test to determine suitability) Masonry Concrete Particleboard Metals Rubber Tiles LOSP treated pine How to use this product General Avoid contact with skin. Wear safety glasses, impervious gloves and clothing. Surfaces to be bonded should be free of oil, grease and dust. On wet timber pooled water should be wiped off. 1. Cut cartridge tip, fit nozzle and cut end to desired width (approx 5mm diameter). 2. Apply bead along the length of one bonding surface. On broad surfaces apply beads every 40cm. (‘zig-zag’ beads are more appropriate on surfaces of moderate width; eg shiplap panels.) 3. Position pieces and press firmly together. Fix with sufficient nails, screws or clamping to hold the load and achieve contact over the total bond area. Repositionable for up to 5 mins after fitting. 4. Allow to set for 15-20 mins for porous surfaces before removing temporary fasteners or clamps.* Liquid Nails Rapid Cure will achieve a full cure in 24 hours.  *Expect longer times for very “dry” timber, heavier objects and less porous surfaces, or in colder weather. Spraying surfaces with a very light mist of water may help speed up the cure. Handy tips Gloves should be worn when applying Liquid Nails Rapid Cure. Avoid contact with skin. Adhesive requires moisture to cure, therefore drying times will vary depending on temperature, humidity and the porosity of materials bonded. Spraying surfaces with a very light mist of water may help speed up the cure. The product should not be applied below 5°C. LIQUID NAILS Rapid Cure expands slightly as it cures. Not suitable for sole fixing for structural bonding. LIQUID NAILS Rapid Cure should always be used in conjunction with mechanical fasteners in structural, critical or high-stress applications. Wet LIQUID NAILS Rapid Cure residues can be removed with acetone or mineral turpentine. Cured or dry LIQUID NAILS Rapid Cure residues can be removed by chiselling, scraping or sanding. Safety tips If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. Avoid skin contact. Avoid breathing in vapours. Ensure you use a well-ventilated area The product is an eye, skin and respiratory irritant and can potentially cause irritation. Avoid contamination of waterways. Allow waste or leftover product to completely dry out before disposing of it. For further detail on the safe use of this product, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet, which can be downloaded from this site. Keep away from children. Storage and re-use Store in a cool place. The adhesive should be used within 6 months after opening. After use, keep the nozzle on the cartridge. Liquid Nails Rapid Cure is a polyurethane based adhesive that requires moisture to cure. Wrapping the nozzle in aluminium foil and sealing tightly with tape can prevent moisture exposure for longer storage.

SELLEYS LIQUID NAILS Original is a premium grade multi-purpose construction adhesive that delivers a consistently strong and lasting bond on most building materials. Shrinkage and thermal movement in buildings can cause bonds to weaken over time, but Liquid Nails is flexible enough to respond to movement allowing a strong bond to be maintained over time. Features Strong bond – which will cope with shrinkage and thermal movement, so you know the job will last. Adheres well to wet and dry timber, so there is no need to wait for the timber to dry. Easily extruded and easy to use in low Winter temperatures, so it allows you to continue with the job at low temperatures. Paintable when dry, to give you a neat, quality finished job. Doesn’t drip, sag or string, so there is less mess when you are using the product. Is available in a range of sizes and delivery styles. Meets requirements specified by Australian Standard AS 2329-1999. Bridges gaps on rough and ill fitting construction material Has a life expectancy, when cured, of 20 years Not for use on polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon, silicone or polystyrene. Perfect for use: Sheet flooring to joists Metal or aluminium door strips to floors or walls Timber or fibre cement sheeting to cement block or brick walls Masonite to timber Wallboard or panelling to wood or metal frames Cork tiles to timber, fibro or plaster Tempered hardboard to floorboards To eliminate the squeaks in tongue & groove boards Not suitable for use on Mirrors, use Liquid Nails Mirrors, Metal and Glass Not suitable for use on Styrene Foam, use Liquid Nails Fast Not suitable for metals heated by direct sunlight, as bonds weaken at high temperatures. eg metal roofing and siding. Not suitable for bonding materials in areas which will be constantly damp or wet. Not suitable for use in tightly clamped joints eg cabinet making or joinery use Selleys Aquadhere What materials is this product suitable for? Brick & Concrete Plasterboard, particleboard & fibre cement sheeting Ceramic tiles Aluminium Painted surfaces Timber Hardboards Render Many other building surfaces   How to use this product Ensure the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, oil and loose powdery materials. If porous surfaces are greasy or dirty, we would recommend cleaning the surface with SELLEYS LIQUID SUGAR SOAP, and allow to dry. If the surface is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with Mineral Turpetine and then again with Methylated Spirits, and allow to dry. If there is old difficult to remove residue such as old flaky paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as SELLEYS KWIK STRIP SMART, and allow to dry. On wet timber pooled water should be wiped off. Highly oily timber types may need to be wiped with solvent prior to application to remove surface oils. We also recommend sanding the surface back with a good quality sanding block, such as a ROTA COTA Sanding Block Medium/ Course grain, as the construction adhesive will adhere more readily to a scratched up surface. Cut the seal at the top of the cartridge. Cut the nozzle end to desired opening (approx. 5mm diameter). Fit to the top of the cartridge. Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun such as SELLEYS LIGHT SPEED Caulking gun. We recommend SELLEYS LIGHT SPEED Caulking Gun, as its new innovative pressure release design reduces the mess which results from run on and stress on your hands, which is critical if you are doing a lot of work which requires a caulking gun. Apply a bead of product along the length of the joist, stud or batten. On broad flat surfaces apply beads every 40cm. Fix the surfaces with sufficient nails, screws or clamping to hold load and achieve contact over the total bond area. The product is repositionable for up to 20 minutes after fitting. Allow the adhesive to set (at least 24 hours) before removing any temporary fasteners or clamping. For faster grab, apply to one surface only, press together and pull apart. Allow surfaces to dry 2-5 minutes before firmly joining. The time it takes to form a strong bond depends on the nature and conditions of the application. In most situations strong bonds can be achieved after 24 hours and will continue to strengthen over a 2-3 day period. The product will fully cure up to 7 days. When the product is still wet it can be removed with mineral turpetine, otherwise if the product is dry it can be removed by sanding or scraping, we recommend using a 50mm ROTA COTA Soft Grip Scraper. Clean any excess from your hands with SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipes. To eliminate squeaks in tongue and groove flooring, apply a bead of Liquid nails into the groove or each board when installing. Handy tips When applying to one surface, ensure sufficient LIQUID NAILS Original is used so that some adhesive extrudes out when surfaces are brought together then wipe off excess if necessary. If glue is not visible, then insufficient contact may not have been made between the surfaces and a weak joint may result. LIQUID NAILS Original should always be used in conjunction with mechanical fasteners in structural, critical or high stress applications. LIQUID NAILS Original is sometimes called LIQUID NAILS (SOLVENT) to differentiate it from the other Liquid Nails products. LIQUID NAILS Original shrinks slightly on curing. Cured LIQUID NAILS Original residues can be removed by holding a rag soaked in Mineral Turps against the residue, then rubbing the residue once softened. Mineral Turps penetrates in this way at approximately 1 mm per hour. When Liquid Nails Original joints are directly exposed to the weather, it is recommended to seal around the edges with a silicone sealant to prevent water ponding inside the joint and thus weaken the joint. LIQUID NAILS Original is NOT recommended for use on mirrors or polystyrene. Use LIQUID NAILS MIRROR METAL GLASS for mirrors and LIQUID NAILS FAST for polystyrene. Keep a pack of SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipes handy to wipe up any spills and for cleaning any material off the skin before it cures. They are an easy and effective way to keep clean on the job.

Knead-It will become warm as it is mixed, A good indication its mixed properly is when you have a uniform colour and feel a mild heat radiating from the knead-it. To help determine when your knead it has set, keep a small piece off to check- when it is hard, it indicates your job is done. For best results, use Knead-It Multi-Purpose for applications in contact with drinking water. Use Knead-It Steel for applications on metal or fuel contact Store in a cool place for maximum shelf life For cleaning surfaces prior to application of adhesive, if the surface is porous, we would recommend using SELLEYS Liquid Sugar Soap. If the surface is non-porous eg glass or metal, firstly clean the surface with mineral turpentine and then again with methylated spirits. If there is old, difficult to remove residue such as old paint, we recommend using paint stripper such as SELLEYS Kwik Strip Smart. Ensure the surface is dry before applying the product. Keep a canister of SELLEYS Sugar Soap Wipes nearby for a quick and effective cleanup. Safety tips Where possible wear protective gloves when using Knead-It Aqua. Contact with skin may result in irritation. Epoxy resin is a known skin sensitiser. Repeated or prolonged skin contact may lead to allergic contact dermatitis. If redness or swelling of skin occurs, wash thoroughly with soap and water. Seek medical attention if in any doubt. Mixed and cured material is not hazardous. Cured material can only be removed by cutting and abrasion. If cured on skin, it will peel off in a few days without assistance. Soaking in warm water will assist removal. Storage and re-use Replace siliver disc to seal ends and keep in a cool dry place.

External and internal, non-trafficable control joints in concrete, masonry, AAC and brick fire rated construction. Acoustic sealing between most common building materials such as concrete, masonry, aerated concrete, plasterboard, fibre cement, metals, timber and plastic as part of a suitable design. Installation over a wide temperature range High UV exposed applications Technical Features  Fire rated up to 4 hours according to AS1530.4  Complies with BCA acoustic requirements  No primer required  Adhesion to wet surfaces  Better curing (>5°C)  Non-bubbling  Better extrudability (>5°C)  No slump  Paintable  Low VOC  Halogen free  Isocyanate free How To Use The following should only be used as a guide and the installer should apply all Australian Standards, BCA/NZBC requirements, and best practices when using FlameFlex™. Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean and free of oil, grease, release agents, dust or loose particles. Porous surfaces should be prepared by grinding, brushing, wiping with cloths or blowing off with oil-free compressed air. Any laitance should be removed from concrete- based surfaces. Non-porous surfaces should be free of scale, rust or oxides and can be degreased with a solvent such as MEK, acetone or mineral turpentine. Some degreasing solvents may leave a residue that should be removed. For neat joints use masking tape on both sides of the joint and remove before skinning Joint Design: Refer to separate section. Cartridge: Cut tip and attach nozzle. Insert in the caulking gun. Cut nozzle to the size required for joint. Application: Extrude sealant smoothly into the joint, while ensuring that all substrates are well wetted out with sealant. Curing: The sealant cures by reaction with atmospheric moisture; therefore cure rate is dependent on humidity, ambient temperature and joint size. Typically, the sealant will form a thick skin within 24 hours and full cure can be expected after 7 days. In dry or cool conditions the sealant cure will be longer. Painting: Paintable with water-based paints after product skins (60 – 90 min). Allow longer times before painting in colder weather. Paint within 12 hours of application. Solvent-based paints may be used after first painting with a water-based paint. Due to a large number of paints and varnishes available, a preliminary test of compatibility is recommended. Joint Design For fire rating, joint width should be between 20mm and 40mm. Minimum joint depth should be 10mm or half the width for joints wider than 20mm.  A tight-fitting non-absorbent, non-adhering backing material should be used to ensure the correct dimensions and prevent three-surface adhesion. Suitable materials include open cell foam backer rod or bond-breaking tape.  Clean Up The uncured product can be removed with mineral turpentine. Cured product can be removed by mechanical action. Use Poly Cleaning Wipes to remove sealant from the skin. Handy Hints In dry conditions, surfaces can be misted with water to speed up cure. Limitations Not for permanent water immersion or below water-line use Not suitable for use on polyethylene, polypropylene or Teflon.
