Description
30 Seconds Outdoor Cleaner Ready to Use is a fast-acting spray for tackling slimy green growth and slippery black patches on exterior surfaces, supplied here in a handy 1L bottle. There is no mixing or diluting, so it suits quick touch-ups on paths, pavers, decks and outdoor furniture as well as small to medium cleaning jobs around the home.
About the formula
A ready-to-use liquid cleaner made to break down algae, moss, mould and mildew and the dirty staining they leave behind. It also helps kill mould and mildew spores on exterior surfaces, which slows the regrowth that brings the stains back. The manufacturer describes the formula as biodegradable and says it is safe to use around the garden.
Where to use it
Indoors: not intended for indoor use. This is an exterior cleaner.
Outdoors: patios, paths, driveways, paving, brickwork, rendered or stucco walls, timber and composite decks, terracotta, and outdoor furniture.
Suitable surfaces listed by the manufacturer include brick, ceramic, cobblestone, concrete, composite and timber decking, metals, paving, plastics, stucco, terracotta, concrete tiles and painted or unpainted wood. Use it on hard, colourfast, washable surfaces and test a small hidden spot first.
How to use it
Spray the product directly onto the affected surface and keep the area wet for at least 30 seconds. For heavier build-up, leave it to work for up to about 10 minutes. Scrub where needed, then rinse off thoroughly with a hose. The cleaner can also be used to prepare exterior surfaces before painting, staining or sealing.
Important notes
Test on a small, inconspicuous area first, especially on stained timber, fabric, coloured paving, high-gloss paintwork and untreated metals. Results and contact time depend on how heavy the growth is and how porous the surface is. Wear old clothes while spraying, as the product can affect colour in fabrics. Do not mix it with other cleaning products.
