Description
The AEG 18V Cordless Caulking Gun takes the hand strain out of applying adhesives, sealants and fillers, and it handles both 300ml cartridges and 600ml sausage packs. It is sold as a skin only, so it suits tradies and keen DIYers who already own AEG 18V batteries and want steady, consistent beads without squeezing a manual trigger all day.
About the product
The gun uses constant flow technology to help lay an even bead and a neat finish. It generates plenty of push force (3800N according to AEG) to move thick compounds through the nozzle. An anti-drip function retracts the plunger when you release the trigger, which cuts down on oozing and wasted material. The ergonomic body is designed to reduce fatigue during repetitive, continuous work.
Where to use it
Indoors: sealing around baths, vanities and kitchen benchtops, running adhesive along panelling and skirting, and filling joints and gaps.
Outdoors: sealing around windows, doors, cladding and roof penetrations, and other exterior jobs that need a long, steady bead.
How to use it
- Variable speed trigger with seven speed settings, giving flow rates from a slow 0 to 7.6 cm/min up to a fast 45.7 to 63.5 cm/min.
- Rotatable collar system for quick changes between 300ml cartridges and 600ml sausage packs. For sausage packs, fit the 600ml cartridge, rack and plunger.
- Belt clip for convenient on-person storage when working on a ladder or moving between tasks.
- Works with any AEG 18V battery (battery and charger sold separately).
Important notes
This is a skin only, so the battery and charger are not included. AEG does not recommend using 600ml polyurethane sealant sausage packs with this gun, so use 300ml polyurethane cartridges instead. Always follow the compound manufacturer's directions for application and cure.
