Description
The Arlo Go 2 is a wire-free 1080p security camera that connects over 4G or Wi-Fi, so you can keep watch on sheds, job sites, holiday properties, boats and caravans where fixed internet or mains power is not available. It runs on a rechargeable battery and works on its own, with no separate hub or base station needed.
About the product
The camera records full HD video and has an integrated spotlight, so night footage can be in colour as well as standard night vision. It can run on Wi-Fi alone, 4G alone, or both, with 4G stepping in as a backup if the Wi-Fi drops out. Built-in GPS helps you locate the camera, and a built-in microphone and speaker give you two-way audio. A siren can be set off manually from your phone or triggered automatically to put off unwanted visitors.
Where to use it
Indoors: sheds, garages, workshops, storerooms and holiday homes where you want a camera without running cables.
Outdoors: building and job sites, farms, caravans, RVs, boats and remote properties. The camera is weather resistant and has an IP65 rating, so it is designed to cope with heat, cold, rain and sun all year round.
How to use it
- Charge the removable battery, then set the camera up with the free Arlo app.
- For 4G, you need a compatible SIM and mobile plan. If Wi-Fi is nearby, the camera can use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi to help reduce mobile data use.
- Mount it on a wall using the supplied screw kit, or place it where you need it.
- View live video and recorded clips from your phone, or record locally to a microSD card (card not included).
- Cloud clip storage is available through an Arlo Secure subscription. A 3-month Arlo Secure trial is included, with 30 days of cloud recordings. You will need to renew the subscription to keep cloud features after the trial.
- Works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and IFTTT for voice control and automation.

Important notes
4G features need a compatible mobile plan, which is not included. Arlo Secure features, including cloud storage, need an active subscription after the included trial period. Network coverage affects 4G performance, so check signal at the install location before mounting.

Care and storage
Keep the camera lens clean with a soft, damp cloth and make sure the battery is charged before installing. Use the supplied charging cable only. Store the camera and battery in a cool, dry place when not in use, and keep out of reach of young children.
