Description
Bear General Purpose Cloth Tape is a strong, flexible silver repair tape in a handy 50mm x 4.5m roll, suited to quick fixes and temporary repairs around the home, garage and workshop. A cloth backing paired with a high strength adhesive gives it the grip and toughness needed for everyday binding, patching and securing jobs.
About the formula
The tape uses a flexible cloth backing coated with a high strength adhesive. It tears by hand, so you can cut lengths without scissors or a knife, and it conforms to irregular surfaces so it can wrap around uneven shapes and edges. It is designed to stick to a very wide range of clean, dry surfaces.
Where to use it
Indoors: temporary repairs, bundling and binding items, reinforcing and general fixing jobs around the house, garage and workshop.
Outdoors: temporary repairs and securing jobs where a tough, flexible tape is needed.
Designed to stick to almost anything, so it suits a broad mix of everyday materials. Test on delicate, painted or finished surfaces first.
How to use it
Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust, oil and grease. Unroll the length you need, tear it off by hand, then press it down firmly along its full length, smoothing out any wrinkles or air pockets. On curved or uneven surfaces, work the tape into place as you go so it follows the shape.
Important notes
This tape is intended for temporary repairs rather than permanent structural fixes. Adhesion is best on clean, dry surfaces, so dusty, wet or oily surfaces may reduce hold. Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct heat.
