The Blink Outdoor 2K+ is a battery-powered, wire-free smart security camera, supplied here as a two-camera system in black with a Sync Module Core included. It records in sharp 2K video, shows colour in low light when there is some ambient light, and is built for easy DIY setup around the home, with no wiring needed for the cameras.
About the product
Each camera records up to 2K (2560 x 1440) video with 4x zoom, so you can check delivery details, see who is at the door or pick out vehicles in the driveway. In low light the camera can show colour video, then switches to infrared black and white when there is not enough ambient light. Two-way audio with noise cancellation lets you talk to visitors through the Blink app. The cameras run on two Energizer lithium AA batteries each, with Blink quoting up to two years of battery life based on battery efficiency settings, 1080p video and typical use. The IP65-rated body is designed to cope with rain and dust. The cameras pair with the included Blink Sync Module Core, which acts as the hub for your Blink system and supports up to 10 devices. With a compatible Alexa device you can view live video, arm and disarm the cameras and set routines. An optional Blink Subscription Plan (sold separately) adds person and vehicle detection notifications.
Where to use it
Outdoors: front doors, driveways, garages, side gates, backyards and entry points, on a wall, eave or post using the supplied mounting kits.
Indoors: also suits entry areas and other spots where you want a wire-free camera.
How to use it
- Plug the Sync Module Core into power using the supplied adaptor and USB-C cable, and connect it to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi through the Blink app.
- Open the battery compartment on each camera, fit the supplied lithium AA batteries and scan the QR code inside to add the camera to the app.
- Fix each camera in place with its mounting kit, then check the view in the app and adjust the position.
- Choose your video quality and notification settings, and add Alexa if you want voice control.

Important notes
A Blink Sync Module is required for the Outdoor 2K+ to connect to your Wi-Fi, and this pack includes one. The Sync Module Core does not include local storage, so saving video clips needs a Blink subscription plan, or a different Sync Module (sold separately). The camera uses a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The weather resistance rating applies with the port cover in place. If you remove the cover, the camera is only weather resistant when powered through its USB-C port using a Blink Weather-Resistant Power Adapter (sold separately). Battery life varies with settings and how often the camera is triggered. Smart person and vehicle notifications need a Blink Subscription Plan, sold separately.

Care and storage
Use only fresh, non-rechargeable lithium AA batteries and replace them as a set, fitting them the right way round. Keep the port cover closed outdoors, and wipe the lens gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Keep batteries and small parts out of reach of children, and keep the Sync Module Core indoors, away from moisture.
